There aren’t enough words to say the wonderful things about Uptown Indigo. The space is GORGEOUS. It’s industrial, it’s chic, it’s feminine, it’s vintage… all in one. The owner, Angela is an artist and genuinely puts love into every inch of that place. Kayla the bartender will make you want to take her to every event you ever have because she’s awesome. Her drinks are amazing, she’s super sweet, friendly and just makes the wedding even more fabulous! Crystal, the Venue Director is a dream to work with!! She’s so organized, precise and pays attention to all the details. Our wedding couldn’t have turned out as perfectly as it did without her. Honestly, this was our dream venue from the start and it did not disappoint. I want to relive this day over and over again!

An outstanding, well run & staffed event center. Gorgeous views from the rooftop. Multiple levels with creative hangout spots in each area. Much more than just a big room. Also, Uptown Indigo is tastefully decorated. I highly recommend this event center.

This venue was the best! We visited a few other venues before finding Uptown Indigo and fell in love with the place within minutes of being there. The staff is very flexible and was able to modify our contract to meet our needs. They provided me with a suggested vendors list, such as florist/planner/coordinator/photography/DJ and we found that most helpful, especially on the day of. Everything flowed so perfectly thanks to the team at Uptown Indigo. The staff was especially helpful the day of the wedding. The owner even offered to pick up our lunch order while everyone was getting ready, provided us with their own "day of emergency kit", and even rolled out an steamer when one of the bridesmaids noticed her dress was wrinkled in the back. 10/10 recommend this venue.

If you’re like me, and you love DETAILS, then you will LOVE uptown indigo!!! I came here today for an event and was Obsessed with EVERYTHING!! Became great friends with the bartenders downstairs, told them I’m Sober and they welcomed me with open arms as well as made great mocktails!!!! I will be returning next week for another event as well as joining the steeples city club!! Thank you uptown indigo, you were just what I needed in my life 🫶🏻

I just photographed Cindy and Paul's wedding celebration in Shelby, NC this past weekend. Uptown Indigo provides one of the most unique venues I have worked at in my career. Rooftop, Bridal Suite, Cocktail Lounge with multiple bars and pool tables, and a gorgeous reception hall under one roof. The staff at Uptown Indigo is super professional, and was so easy to work with. I look forward to working here more in the future! The fire escape on the side of the building is so clutch too!

Uptown Indigo was the best venue I have ever been to. I booked this venue for my wedding and the vibe was beyond chill. Everyone, including myself, had an amazing time. Everyone made my wedding day a breeze. The owner is very personable and accommodating. She listened to my every need and she made it happen the best way she can. The bartenders on my wedding day were so friendly and sweet and made the life of my wedding. I definitely had a blast and thanks to Uptown Indigo, it will be a day to remember. I highly recommend to book your next event at Uptown Indigo!

This venue is an absolute dream! Our wedding day was perfect, Crystal has been with us every step of the way and the venue team was very attentive the day of. So many of our guests told us the bar tender was amazing. As a bride that tends to be a bit on the controlling side, I can honestly say I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. If I could give Uptown Indigo more than 5 stars, I would! Thanks for making our day so so special and smooth!

Excellent!! Venue was rented for a wedding I was in & the place was breathtaking. They had everything set and organized. We were there Thursday night for the rehearsal dinner. Greeted kindly by Kaley. Taken to the third floor to eat dinner which was delicious lasagna. Later went to the rooftop to see where the wedding photos were going to be taken but as you see it's stunning when the sun is going down for those having evening events. Wedding day: the floor we had dinner on became the bridal suite. We had great music playing through the sound system, a pool table, and many great areas to take photos. Angela made the bride so happy making the signature drink for the night. Some things to note - street parking was available each time we arrived and it has an elevator to get all the way up to the third floor.
