Unfortunately I never made it to the trail because the roads to get to the trailhead were THAT bad. I’ve never been so terrified while driving in my life. Thankfully I was able to turn around without rolling off the mountain and briefly considered parking down the road from the trailhead and simply walking up to it but there were at least 5 dogs all barking at me alongside the road I would have to walk on, and having not had the best experiences with Puerto Rican dogs so far, I wasn’t willing to risk getting bitten by a dog thinking it needs to protect its territory from me. Seriously - heed caution if you decide to attempt getting there. The last 3k of the drive starts to get a little sketchy as the road dramatically narrows, but the last 1k is, in my opinion, impassable. I’m sure it was a beautiful hike but not worth risking my life for.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful place! I would rate the difficulty of climbing as moderate, especially if it has rained. However, once you are up on the mountain, the view is unique and spectacular. There are some riskier areas, due to the height and the cliff, I preferred to stay in the area of the flag and the cross. (Original) Hermoso lugar!

One of the best views in Puerto Rico. Totally recommended. It requires a short 30 minute hike that is all natural. The roads to the parking lot are not in good shape but the views are worth it! Check Spotin Tours for tripa to this place.

The place is fascinating and has limited space for those who want to camp and see both the sunrise and the sunset on the hill. The wind from up there is enormous and is not suitable for the faint of heart. You have to walk for about 30 minutes and climb some ropes and ravines to reach the hill. It is best to wear hiking shoes and clothing suitable for getting dirty in the mud, prepare a small bag with water and snacks for the journey and enjoy the view.

(Translated by Google) I do not know another place to park but the one they have is a bit limited, this is the number of cars in visitors. Contrary to that, the view, the access (you don't have to walk as much as in El Yunque), the beautiful and clean place. I can say that it is made to climb people of all ages (except older people with walking difficulties) because you have to climb mountains (Original) No conozco otro lugar para estacionarse pero el que tienen es un poco limitado, esto si la cantidad de carros d visitantes en concurrida. Contrario a eso, la vista, el acceso (no hay que caminar tanto como en el Yunque), el sitio precioso y limpio. Puedo decir que está hecho para subir personas de todas las edades (excepto mayores con dificultades de caminar) pues hay que subir montañas

The roads are nearly impossible to get through without a proper 4x4. So unless you have a proper off-roading vehicle, I wouldn't risk getting stuck.

(Translated by Google) do not take the Guayanilla route. The municipality has not paved the road and it is extremely dangerous. If you have a 4x4 bus, maybe you can go up. Avoid highways 132 and 378. (Original) no cojan por la ruta de Guayanilla. El municipio no ha embreado la carretera y está sumamente peligrosa. Si tiene guagua 4x4, tal vez pueda subir. Evite carreteras 132 y 378.
