Less than 2 weeks ago, I stopped by the Adele H Stamp Student Union Building via the University of Maryland College Park campus to get a breakfast sandwich from McDonald’s My husband and I have been to this place multiple times. The building has a food court area that has multiple eating places Mcdonald’s, Sbarro’s, Panda Express, Qdoba, Chic Fil A, Maryland Dairy etc. There is also a bookstore that carries a multiple variety of books and a coffee place. There are also multiple chairs to sit andor relax during the day, however obviously peak times influence how crowded the place can get.

It's starting to become a homeless hangout! They need to tell these folks to go somewhere else and not be sleeping there before it's even open! It's supposed to be for students or others to get work done etc.

Great place to hang out and very beautiful with the new renovations. I like the addition of the new diary of a wimpy kid statue, which is very well-made and a great opportunity to take photos, as well as the Kermit the frog statue that is outside looking forward to the construction being finished.

I get it... It's summer on a college campus. But still -- how is Panda Express the ONLY thing that is open?!? Yuck... Decent options when things are actually bopen, I guess.

Most aspects are good for presenters and audiences, although the ventilation system with air conditioning takes a little while to start up in the presenting rooms

Nice facility. Many large multifunction rooms. Modern tech with video screens from the ceiling, and full computer integration.

I went to the University for work, went to get lunch it wasn't even like I was campus except for all the students and parents lol. It was almost like being in a mall. I enjoyed my lunch great selections of places to choose from to eat especially when you have a Chick-fil-A on campus everyone knows that Chick-fil-A is the best with wonderful customer service

Nice place to sit and eat for students (of UMD) and non students alike. They have a wide variety of restaurants to choose from, and they will have more soon since some of the shops closed due to COVID restrictions (they have 6 right now and have a 7th in the works). The places to choose from are actually surprisingly healthy too, except for the ice cream shop. They have a coffee shop upstairs too, you have to look a bit to find it.

It's a really nice place for students. We went there for new student orientation. The atmosphere was wonderful and the ballrooms and other student amenities were very nice. Good looking exterior architecture too.

I enjoyed eating at Salad Works!! Yummy salad with bread thrown in. Very much worth the $10+ for my healthy salad!

This group at U of MD put on a very nice Powwow today. Beautiful regalia and seeing family and friends. Thank you to the team that made this possible.

Average student union for a large metro University. Friendly student workers food court, book store, ATMs, meeting rooms and lounge areas. Not upscale but not too run down either.

Great place to hang out before the game. Nice selection of fast food spots. Lots of seating. Quieter areas on upper floors.

Great atmosphere and great ice cream - Willard's full court press rocks! A short distance away is the Terp topiary. Really cool gift from the class of 2004.

As a student at UMD, I can say that the student union is sufficient. There really isn’t anything missing. There’s a great food court, an ice cream shop, a book store, a ton of meeting rooms, Terp Zone, and more.
