This is the place you need to stop in and visit when you are in the Sandusky area and want to find out what amazing things are going on. The employees are super friendly and will let you know when and where the best activities in the area are at. Cedar Point is not the only amazing thing to do in this area, there is so much history and many fun things to do if you are tired of waiting in long lines all day. At Lake Erie Shores and Islands you will find anything from recommendations on where the best restaurant is to where the best kid friendly activities are located, and they have maps and directions to them all. Stop in, call, or check out the website for planning or expanding your experience along the Shores of beautiful Lake Erie Ohio.

The gentleman working on 7/31 was extremely helpful and informative. If it wasn't for him my husband and I would never have known that Put-in-Bay was a great place to visit and eat. The better bet for an older couple than Sandusky since that is more for families going to water parks.

Very nice storefront w loads of information, and helpful people. Of course, I'd like to see more handouts, read swag. We need Ohio and Great Lakes stickers, maybe some Cedar Point things to hand out to the youtists. They are supporting us, ya know. Or coupon booklets to go to local places, etc.

Such a lovely place to rewind and enjoy water tides as well as the weather. It’s a calm place where you can come with your family and friends to enjoy the sun and the peace of the Lake Erie. The environ is also maintained in such a way that it’s clean.

This entire area of Lake Erie Islands and Shores is quite a vacation paradise. Port Clinton area, Marblehead, Kelley's Island, Put-in-Bay are certainly gems. Summer has always been very popular but early fall is very nice too with fewer crowds and reduced prices.

LES&I's offers grand to help defray costs. We held a National Convention at Kalahari, bringing over 900 people to the area. We were approved for $4,600 in grants, but were turned down because we did not have their logo on brochures, banners, and flyers, which we do not even have. We received a grant years ago and did not have to provide this. Rip off.
