Very nice place to visit and pay respects to Veterans as you go past Highway 58 to and from Tehachapi, Ca. Beautiful rolling hills surrounds this lush cemetery.

Extremely clean, well taken care of, beautiful setting surrounded by mountains and hills. Friendly staff. Had the honor of visiting just after wreaths across America. Next year I plan on participating. Rest well. We will take it from here.

My mother in law being the wife of a Naval Veteran was laid to rest here(10/2/2010) before completion of the main building. It was beautiful then, and more so now. My father in law was laid to rest this year(1/2/2016) Full military honors, it was Beautiful So thankful to all the staff ground keepers and those who have served and are still serving today

I visited with my family on Memorial Day 2022. I'm proud that Kern County has a place to honor veterans in such a beautiful area. Kern County, South Valley, and other Veterans have a wonderful place to be memorialized. They should feel honored that their family has such a place to visit them and their dependant one they pass from this life.

We just put my mom to rest on Friday and even though there is a 10 person max due to COVID19, the staff made it a very personable and beautiful experience. They even let us physically place her ashes in the niche with our Dad, who was placed in the wall in 2012. The staff & Ceremony for my father was beautiful and flawless back then as well. Love this place. Our veterans deserves the best and this place is one such place. Landscaping crews are always on hand and working to keep up. We visit on every trip to the west coast. A great place to remember our veterans and contemplate their sacrifice and contributions to our country and the world. A must stop and visit for all Americans.

A beautiful cemetery in a very quaint part of town. A great resting place for our veterans!

My husbands services were recently held at Bakersfield National Cemetery and it was the most beautiful service I could have asked for. The staff were wonderful in handling all the details and I especially want to thank the Honor Guard, Legion Riders and our bag piper, they gave a wonderful tribute to my husband.

My father is buried at Bakersfield National Cemetery. They keep it up all the time. It is a very nice area to visit. To see your love ones. Thank you for the work you do to keep the grounds clean.

This was the most beautiful send off for my husband of 51 yrs. The staff was and is amazing. The grounds are beautiful. A beautiful place for our fallen hero’s.

Unsure if this will go anywhere- Please install a sidewalk for disabled Vet visitors!! Uneven terrain caused my disabled Veteran Dad to fall while visiting my mothers grave on Sunday 9.17.23. Otherwise a beautiful cemetery!
