Our 2 dive afternoon trip was great. My dad had trouble with buoyancy and clearing his ears. Travis was great in helping us on our first dive. We were scheduled for a Wednesday dive but unfortunately a storm rolled in and had to cancel. Luckily they were great at letting us easily move to Thursday. Would recommend this shop for sure. We dove the Black Bart and Hathaway Bridge #14.

Our instructor Courtney and her co-workers are great. She gave my husband and my son a patient and detailed teach on Scuba basics in the classroom before they began diving. She is a great teacher. My husband and my son had a blast time. Thankfully with Courtney’s guidance. I’d like to recommend this class to anyone who is interested in Scuba, but has not to be certified.

After reading reviews decided to select PCD for my first dive with my daughter and her boyfriend. It has been a long time coming and a dream come true for me since they received their open water cert during the summer. The PCD crew put our anxiousness to rest by taking the time to thoroughly explain what to expect and address immediately any questions or concerns that popped up. We rented gear from them with no issues and the fit was spot on. From the interaction at the shop to the interaction on the boat was top notch all around. This has become our go to dive shop when we’re in the area. My daughter and her boyfriend are already talking about furthering their diving capabilities and PCD are the professionals to guide them. As for me, I get to tag along and already looking forward to our next trip.

No better dive shop in town that has all one's diving needs covered. Want to get into scuba diving? Check out their open water certification class. The classes are flexibly available and distill critical knowledge for overcoming challenges. The dive master instructors are knowledgeable and patient. Special shout-out to Ben and Travis! Can't recommend this place anymore for starting out in scuba diving. Oh and you don't have to have your own scuba gear to get started as the gear is bundled into the class price. There are a variety of offshore boat dives for ones that are open water certified and advanced. Shipwrecks and bridge spans await those wanting to plunge miles offshore. One additional feature this dive shop offers are opportunities to scuba dive internationally whether that be Belize, Fiji, and more. Lifetime of memories to make in these 1-week getaways. Locals should definitely check out Panama City Dive club for exclusive benefits and networking with other divers in the area.

Panama City Diving is officially our only go-to dive shop in PCB! Amazing people, awesome experience!!! We especially appreciate our instructor for the day, Baylee—she’s such a wonderful person, very knowledgeable and we enjoyed her company a lot!! My only regret was not doing my first scuba with them!! Easily 11/10!

I strongly recommend Panama City Diving for beginning divers. I began my class with Mayday who was very thorough. Due to my own insecurities the shop worked with me to get me private instruction with the wonderful and kind Baylee. She allowed me to work at my own pace, stay within my comforts and took my fears and worries into consideration to design instruction that set me up for success. After working with Baylee I finished my certification and found a love and excitement for the sport of scuba diving. Everyone at the shop was kind, welcoming, and clearly dedicated and passionate about scuba diving. With Panama City Diving you learn scuba diving is a life style not just a sport. I am so glad I trusted them with this experience and look forward to diving with them again in the near future! If you are nervous, trust Panama City diving to take care of you as you successfully get scuba certified! I loved it so much I asked Baylee to take us out an extra day after my certification for a guided dive.

Panama City Diving is top notch. The entire staff in the dive shop and the boat crew were professional, courteous and accommodating. The boat crew were helpful and fun throughout the day. The captain brought us to four unique and interesting sites. We travelled from FL east coast 6 hours to dive with PCD and was not disappointed. I will definitely schedule another shop trip for our customers to Panama City Diving. Great job to all the employees at panama City Diving.

Great shop with a friendly staff! I booked an off-shore trip but the weather didn’t cooperate. The Captain and crew were very professional and made the right call. The shop provided a quick refund and I was able to get a guided shore dive scheduled the next day instead. The jetties at the state park made for an enjoyable, relaxing dive. The dive master Ben did a great job leading the group. I plan to try the off-shore dive again next time I’m able to make it to PCB.

Along with my 2 teenage sons, I did 2 days and 4 dives with PCD and I’m happy to recommend them to others. For us, it was our deepest dive yet and we appreciate the setup. [3 Shipwrecks and 1 Bridge Dive] The Captain and Dive Guide / First mate were all great to interact with. They really do want you to enjoy yourself and if you need anything, were eager to help. Dive Schedule 1) About 30 to 45 min boat ride to the dive site with a 10 minute horn to gear up before arrival. 2) The dive guide would dive down and attach a descend line to guide us to the site including a secondary safety stop line. 3) Back at the surface, the guide would show us a diagram of the dive site and explain where the descent line is attached at the bottom. Give us a brief of conditions - visibility, current, depth, and marine line. 4) The “pool” is now open for divers providing deck support to get everyone safely in the water. 5) Guide would occasionally check in with us, but remained mostly top side during the dive - approx 45m. 6) Return to the boat with no less than 500 PSI and move to dive location #2 - typically about 5 mins or 1 mile away. Repeat Plenty of water & Gatorade available. Snacks included cracker assortments and snickers, snickers, snickers. At the marina you’ll have access to ample parking and multiple cargo wagons if you need to cart gear to/from your car. Our boat had a working bathroom if needed. On one instance my son had to return to the surface because his first stage was leaking too much on the descent at 15 feet. I expected his dive to be over, but about 10 minutes later, the dive guide (“May Day”) found me at 70’ and joined the 3 of us back up again for a combined dive.

Joined the shop for a second great year of diving this weekend. A top notch facility and crew. The service they offer will keep me coming back. We were on the boat all weekend and captain Josh did everything he could to get us new sites for every dive, which is definitely challenging on a holiday weekend. The crew is helpful with good briefings, explanations, and service while on board the steel slinger. Can not recommend highly enough.

We went out on Max Reef and Dupot Bridge Span 3 on October 28th for my birthday. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The boat had water and snacks available. The cabin was nice to store our dry goods in. The dive master was incredible (I think it was Mayday?), the crew as well. I have really bad arthritis and fybromyalgia. To add to that I am super buoyant. I addressed my concerns with the DM and he took it in stride and made me feel comfortable about it. The water is the only place I don't feel pain and the only place that my health issues dont affect me. I actually can keep up and sometimes do better then my professional diver husband! Because of the professionalism of their DM, I would most certainly go with one of their charters again. The rental process of the gear was great. We were fitted until we found the right gear that worked for us. We were also given tips for the mask that I had never heard of before, which contributed to a flawless experience with my mask. I didn't have to clear it once. Don't hesitate to rent their gear!!! With that said, some was worn and needed to be replaced - but it wasn't unsafe. I am referring to my booties that I rented and a wetsuit that I had tried on during the fitting that the knee was ripped out on. There was some ageing on the outside of the buddy line going to the regulator - reg was in great condition, line was just starting to dry rot, but there was no leaking of air. Don't let this worry you. This is a nit pick just to let the owner know. We will be back to do dives with them!!!

Enjoyed a great weekend of diving with Captain Josh and Dive Masters John Henry and May Day. Eight dives in two days … a great variety and most importantly, amazing service. They love to dive and work to ensure their divers do too!

I feel the need to express my thoughts and awareness of an instructor. His name is Ben. Ben claims I had a huge influence on his decision to get into scuba diving. He actually stopped by my residence to check on me. He asked about my future dive plans, life, work. He cared enough to ensure I had great dive experiences and now checking on me personally. That’s the kind of staff all businesses should have. One that shows the caring of others beyond the work environment. Panama City Diving is the best for a reason. Thank you for being there Panama City Diving instructors!!

Our area has many options to get certified to scuba dive, a friend recommended I go through Panama City diving and I am so happy that I did. I just spent the last 3 days with Charlie as my instructor who I highly recommend. I’ve wanted to get certified for years and finally faced my fear and went for it and after completing this course I feel confident and excited for all of my future dives. Charlie was very professional, fun and knowledgable. We all laughed at our mistakes and learned together and had a great time. I felt very safe and confident with Charlie leading us. The dive shop is clean and has everything you might need. I’d give them 6 stars if I could 😎🤿

My wife and I really enjoyed Discover Scuba, Chris is an awesome instructor and we both want to get certified as well. Great experience in the water and an awesome shop as well!

Awesome shop! Charlie was SO good! I got open water certified with him. He made it fun and I felt completely ready and comfortable for every dive. Excellent teacher!

Did guided shore dive with Ben and Josh. These guys were amazing. My ten year old was newly certified. They watched out for her, reviewed with her and ensured she saw all the cool stuff. They had enough guides to ensure everyone got a great experience. Thanks so much to this team!

Can't say enough great things about Panama City Diving. My wife and I are newer divers and we did the Two Tank Inshore charter which was perfect! Captain Josh and Divemaster John made the trip a breeze even in 4 foot swells! The first dive was on a military hovercraft and the second was a decomissioned bridge span both of which were teaming with fish. We also want to give a special shout-out to Chris Mayday who is just an awesome human being! He set us up with all the gear at the shop, fit us for hoods when we decided we were cold, and made us feel right at home. On top of the boat dive, we dove Morrison Spring and the Jetties at St. Andrews Park both at Mayday's suggestion and guidance. Thanks Mayday for really making our trip!

Do you want to see amazing things underwater with an amazing crew of people? Look no further than Panama City Diving. There are a lot of dive shops in the PCB area, but Panama City Diving makes you feel like family. I’ve tried many of their services. I was certified though them (SDI - open water, advanced, nitrox specialty, night specialty) and the classes are not only engaging, but also make you feel safe. Baylee is an AMAZING instructor. My husband and I have done guided shore dives with Baylee as well, and boat dives with Capt. Josh, Ben, Mayday, and John. We cherish our time on the Steel Slinger! And it is incredibly easy to fill or pick up a tank to just go dive on your own. Finally, we just got back from a dive trip to Bonaire with this crew and the owner Pat. When we say this was our favorite vacation ever — I’m not exaggerating. Bonaire has amazing diving, but being with The Panama City Diving Crew made it even more special. We got to know even more of the crew (Sara, Pat, and James) and see some amazing things. This is our favorite dive shop. And it should be yours too!
