Best customer service I've experienced in backcountry skiing endeavors so far, they really went above and beyond to help me with some very niche binding solutions. Great over the phone but also online, where the attention to detail is unmatched and precise to the millimeter. Can tell these are some passionate backcountry folks.

Super helpful staff. I scheduled an appointment for heat molding some new liners and realized after the fact that I came on the wrong day - but they never mentioned that I had come in for the wrong appointment time (if they realized) despite being pretty busy. They were very helpful and got my liners molded perfectly!

Niko went above and beyond. Within hours of submitting my order for Atomic backland 62 UL skis, bindings and pomoca skins, Niko sent me an email with a question about mounting the skis, we then exchanged a few emails that same day to reach a resolution. Niko was responsive, extremely knowledgeable, kind. Niko recommended a couple of things to add to the plum 150 bindings so that Skimo Co could mount the bindings using a stock boot, and add a brake accessory. The skis were packaged very carefully and arrived at my door 3 days later - incredible. Thank you so much.

Super friendly. I ordered the wrong size and they helped me, with personal attention, on Christmas Day. Skimo has some great backcountry gear that you can't find anywhere else. Highly recommended.

One of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. Very rarely am I as mightily impressed by customer service as I've been with Skimo. I've been on the lookout for a pair of touring bindings as well as a pair of boots and the guys have provided me with some incredibly useful insight (over email) as I navigate the many options available. Their online boot/binding fitter is an amazing opportunity for people like me (who cannot stop by the store) to receive insights from experts with wide-ranging experience. Their response time and overall thoroughness in answering my questions is truly an example to follow. Cannot recommend enough!

Was skiing in BCC and had a pin binding break around mid-morning. Drove down to Skimo Co to see if they could help me rig something up so that I could keep skiing. They had my exact binding plate in stock and did a rush mount (10min) to get back on the mountain with a whole afternoon yo spare. Epic customer service. Awesome shop with a great selection of skimo and trail running equipment.

I have purchased online and in-store with Skimo, and I have gone in multiple times for their boot fitting services. Every time going in has been a great experience. The employees know what they are talking about, and the inventory is top-notch for backcountry skiing and ski mountaineering. Any time I can't find something, I also end up finding that Skimo Co has it.

I've been a customer of Skimo Co. for the past 3 years, and I live over 2,000 miles away. I've purchased multiple sets of boots, bindings, skis, and skins from Skimo Co. I have also made multiple warranty claims and had plenty of replacement parts sent to me by the helpful staff. Their customer service is second-to-none. As a result, I don't buy ski gear from anywhere else. Neither should you!

I have only interacted with Skimo Co. through email, as I live out-of-state. Even with never having set foot in the storefront, I can confidently give them a 5-Star review. If there was a 6-Star option, they would deserve one. Their entire fleet of staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and extremely responsive to their customers. I have never waited more than 24 hours for a question to be answered by email. I live in a place with very limited backcountry gear offerings in store and usually have to "guess" what I need most of the time when ordering online. Skimo Co. has taken a huge amount of the "guess-work" out of gear shopping for me. My husband and I have decided to ONLY buy our ski gear from this company because of their exceptional customer service, knowledge, amazing gear selection and gracious return/exchange policy. I can't wait for the day that I can visit in-person!

Absolutely incredible shop. You won't find a better selection of ski mountaineering and touring gear in the US. Maybe anywhere! The boot fitting service was exceptional; my fitter, Zach, had a great understanding of product inventory, specific boot fits, and how each would relate to my foot shape. We did a fitting (shell fit + liner, heat liner heat molding, and a shell punch in a problem area) for an on-the-spot custom fit. Ski inventory was equally superb, and the staff had excellent knowledge of how different skis would feel and perform in different conditions and was able to get me dialed with a ski setup ideally suited for my personal objectives. Knowledge about bindings was just as comprehensive. Phenomenal experience overall; it's worth making the trek in person, even if you live far away. 10/10, highly recommend.

Prices are reasonable but they differentiate on service and expertise. On my last visit, Bret spent four hours with me making sure I had the right boots and bindings. Absolutely wonderful experience! I had tried to shop local but no one had the skins I was looking for so they recommended I order from Skimo Co. I ordered online which was super convenient and easy. Skins showed up today and are exactly what I wanted. Along with the skins was a hand written note thanking me for the order and hoping I have a great rest of the ski season!! I ran around to three or four shops looking for some ski crampons that fit my stuff. Finally somebody recommended this place to me and they were fantastic. Had everything I needed.

Skimo was recommend to me by Noah Howell legendary filmmaker and out right Powderwhore. The shop did not disappoint. I was shell fitted and purchased the Scarpa F1 after describing my skiing style. I’m pleased with my purchase and experience with the staff. The store is convenient and well stocked. I recommend shopping here for your back country and side country gear.

This is the go to shop for backcountry ski. We are lucky to have the brick and mortar location in SLC. Turn around times for mounts are quick and the selection of gear is vast. Maybe the best part about skimo, though, is the expert advice regarding the equipment.

Great selection and great staff. Skimo.co staff really listened to my questions and helped me design my ski package. They know their products and understand customers. I am 65 and deal with ageism at every other ski shop. But not at skimo.co. This shop is a true gem.

I was doubtful about purchasing from them because I was not familiar with sky run, but when I looked up skimo, I read through several of the reviews and glad I ordered from them. The hydration vest fit, arrived earlier than expected, and came with a HANDWRITTEN NOTE from Jay in which they thanked me and wished me well. I'll definitely be purchasing from them in the future.

My husband and I replace our old touring skis and we got very good help from Cole, he help us to get lighter skis and binding. Great knowlege and friendly. Definatly recommand this shop for all back country skiing gear.

Everyone is nice and helpful with lots of personal experience with equipment! It seems like there is always one more person coming out of nowhere to answer a question and make sure you are doing ok. Quick turnaround time on ski mounts too!
