First,
if
you
want
dinner,
they
allow
you
to
bring
your
own
-
and
even
mention
Arctic
Circle
burgers
in
their
online
FAQ.
Yes,
you
should
support
the
theater
by
purchasing
their
snacks
and
drinks,
but
their
"entrees"
are
all
from
the
frozen
food
section
of
the
local
grocery
or
Costco.
Frozen
pizza,
White
Castle
sliders,
etc.
Heated
up
of
course,
but
pretty
average
at
best.
They
have
a
great
candy
and
snack
selection,
including
popcorn.
Having
done
a
fair
number
of
drive-in
theaters
around
the
West,
this
one
has
tighter
rows
and
a
smaller
lot
(and
smaller
screen).
A
lot
of
people
backed
in
their
SUV's
and
put
up
their
tailgates
-
blocking
the
lower
part
of
the
screen
for
those
behind
them.
Not
the
theater's
fault,
but
the
tighter
rows
make
it
worse.
The
FM
sound
was
great
and
actually
broadcasts
pretty
far
from
the
theater.
The
picture
was
clear
and
had
great
color.
The
nostalgic
introduction
reels
were
fun.
Surprised
they
did
the
national
anthem
at
the
beginning,
albeit
with
few
paying
attention.
Still
impressive.
Finally,
the
owner/manager/"narrator"
that
speaks
at
the
start
and
during
intermissions
is
great.
A
little
bit
of
trivia
and
good
sense
of
humor.
Also
the
only
drive-in
we
have
seen
that
tells
you
how
to
defeat
the
always-on
parking
lights
in
newer
cars
if
you
want
to
keep
it
on
for
the
radio
(engage
the
parking
brake,
turn
the
lights
off,
then
turn
off
the
car
-
you
can
then
turn
it
on
and
the
lights
won't
come
on
until
you
disengage
the
parking
brake).
Oh,
and
get
there
early
on
opening
nights
-
it
was
almost
full
three
hours
before
showtime!
