My experience at Stanly was awesome! I was in the Criminal Justice Program. All the instructors and advisors were excellent at directing me to what step was next. The instructors were very responsive to questions and helped me through the classes step by step. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA because of this. I highly recommend Stanly Community College to anyone pursuing a career or degree in Law Enforcement or Corrections.

Interesting location for a Community College. It sits atop a hill on the edge of town. I’m sure the kids don’t ride their bikes here because they will have to be Olympic athletes to get up the hill. Really nice scenic views from here.

I was actually a student who who wore many hat's! I am a full time employee, proud mother of two, and successfully completed my Associate degree program online with Stanly. My professors and advisor were both attentive and understanding with any concerns I had. Furthermore, I was very well taken care of at this college. It was truly a wonderful experience and if they had a bachelor's program I would still be there now!

I love this community college! I got my associate’s degree here and I wouldn’t change that decision for the world! Everyone was so helpful and attentive, I would recommend this community college to all ages and individuals- seriously, there is something for EVERYONE of all ages and interests. Definitely worth your time and consideration!

I would recommend Stanley Community College to anyone looking to further their education. I obtained my Associate’s Degree in 2015, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The staff was more than helpful and accommodating, and the instructors were knowledgeable and genuinely cared about the students in their classes.

Ordering books from the bookstore is a terrible experience. First, the books were listed as on back-order (which wasn't accurate, they just don't update it), but they charged TWENTY DOLLARS for GROUND shipping. If that's not gouging, I don't know what is. To add insult to injury, they require signature on the package, so I've now missed the package two days in a row because UPS won't leave it at my door. It's a damn book, I shouldn't have to sign for it. Idiots.

Would hire from Stanly WAY BEFORE all other beauty schools! All students come with confidence and are truly grounded in the know how. Thank you to all the instructors there!!

Great place to take classes. They have lots of programs including university transfer. Get your AA or AS degree and transfer to a four year university to finish your BA or BS.
