Phenomenal! Super cute place for Poke Bowls. The staff was very friendly and very patient. It was my first time there and the person who was helping me really went above and beyond and explained each ingredient to me. She even gave me great recommendations! Every ingredient tasted fresh and vibrant. I would definitely go back again and again!

This is my favorite poke place ever!!! Their ingredients are so so fresh, and you really can tell. The owners care about their quality and they take the time to make your poke bowl with care and to perfection. If you're in the Denver area, I highly recommend this place!! And it is worth it!! So vegan friendly.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. It's simply phenomenal. The staff is friendly, it's a locally owned business with as many locally sourced ingredients as possible. Their take on poke is better than any chain poke place and they have a ton of great options with a rotating seasonal menu. It is a little more pricey than other places but well worth the experience. I tried this place for the first time months ago and now it's exclusively where I get my poke! Hope the Korean Glass Noodle comes back soon!!!

We decided to try the spot out as we recently moved into the neighborhood. I have to say that the energy in this place just feels so good and comfortable that I already knew when we walked in that it was going to be something special. The staff was so incredibly friendly, and the food, absolutely delicious. There are so many flavors/combos and I love that so many different things are locally sourced. The yuzu vinaigrette and spicy cucumber salad were so flavor forward and fresh. We will definitely be back soon!!

Hands down the best poke! So much thought and extra effort to bring you local fresh ingredients! Biodegradable Togo containers and utensils. And I can’t tell you how good the food is. You will have to experience it for yourself! And they support local artists so much!

Had Turtle Boat on the radar for some time and jumped at a chance to try it. Major points for uniqueness. Where else can you get raw rocky mtn fish?!? Took their advice and tried the local trout which was pretty good. That plus the sheer number added ingredients (nori, furikake, sesame seeds, edamame - just to name a few), made for a kaleidoscopic flavor spectrum. Super healthy overall but maybe a bit light on flavor. Dine-in is outdoor only. Pro-tip: couple this with boba next door at Bambu.

I feel like I’ve driven by this place so many times over the years and it’s always caught my eye, but haven’t gotten a chance to stop in until tonight and boy am I glad I did! One of the Owners: Darren was incredibly friendly in welcoming us and walking us through their concept and their menu (super nice guy and some of the best customer service I’ve encountered in some time). Basically yes this is a poke place, so if that’s what your in the mood for you will definitely like this: but what I love most is their incredibly unique menu which is far from what your used to… the variety of proteins and fish were on another level (most I’d never even seen in raw form before) which was super cool and literally everything about this place was about sustainability and best practices all around. They literally knew exactly where every single ingredient they served came from (stuff was even labeled as such like striped bass from xyz farm in Colorado etc etc) which was super unique. And also you can very much tell that these guys go out of their way to support local: from the stuff they sell to the art on their building just about everything I saw was local, which was neat… And to top it all off the food was extremely good and reasonably priced… I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place and how much I loved the service we received as well as the conversation we had with one of the owners who was obviously very passionate about what they do and just seemed like an all around good guy. It’s no surprise that these guys have been around nearly 6years at this point and have so many 5 star reviews. I’ve only been once but I’m already a huge fan! Go support these guys and enjoy their delicious and unique food. Cheers!

The food and selection of unique toppings (and fish I have never seen in other poke spots) is a huge differentiator from other poke places. Only reason for 1 star off is portion size. More expensive and smaller portion than most other places. Perhaps due to higher quality of ingredients, but was still hungry after a regular size bowl (wife agreed too).

the service here cannot be beat. Patient, kind and helpful. Love that you don’t have to pay extra to have all the toppings added. Awesome options for vegan and vegetarians too. Best place in Denver to get poke!!!

Great local place with a sustainable mission - supports local products and agriculture. Food was delicious and I enjoyed telling a few new forms of vegetarian protein

Not only one of the best Poki spots in Denver, one of the best restaurants in Denver. This spot is unique, and the difference between this and your average poke spot is astounding. Turtle Boat puts an emphasis on their ingredient sourcing. They care about the quality of the fish they are serving and are knowledgeable about what they are serving too. The customization is crazy and the staff enjoy customizing each order to your taste. I went with the Arctic Charr, Striped Bass (From Alamosa, CO), and Rainbow Trout. All freshwater options so they don’t have to be transported as far. Cannot say enough good things about this place. It truly is an above and beyond establishment, will be back many times.

The gentlemen who prepared our food for us were incredibly helpful. I'd never tried poke before and this was such a good experience I'm sure other poke places will pale in comparison. the food was fresh and the tastes were vivid and despite not wanting to eat raw fish (I didn't realize a majority of their options were raw), they still had tofu and cooked octopus for me! Seriously, sow good.

This place is amazing! I haven't been to many poke places but was in the area. The two guys working there were very helpful in explaining how the selections work and what each was. I had an amazing meal thanks to their help! Fun drink selections too. The side outdoor seating is very pleasant. Highly recommend!

I am obsessed with Turtle Boat Poke. The customer service was so above and beyond my expectations. They were all so nice and patient, helpful with explaining how things work (and not giving you attitude when you ask questions) offered information of what they recommend… I was blown away with how friendly the service was! They try to use local ingredients as often as possible making it a more sustainable option- as well as biodegradable and compostable to-go containers. The food was absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to go back. If you’re curious about what toppings go well together, they’ll guide you along the way. We had the “full boat” as it was recommended and gives you a little bit of everything. They have a beverage fridge filled with amazing local options. Plus a dog friendly, outdoor patio seating area. 10/10 will be back asap!

Im obsessed! Definitely going to the top 5 go-to spots for me in Denver. The fish is fresh and local. The toppings, salads, etc are all delicious. I ended up choosing my bowl, but next time I’ll do the Chef’s Choice. The staff know what they are doing for sure. They are also very passionate about sustainability. Love.

Wow! Immediately when we walked in, we loved this place. The customer service, kindness and overall interaction was so great and wholesome. It was our first time being in and the guy that helped us was so knowledgeable, patient and kind. He made the entire experience really awesome. The food is absolutely delish. Unlike anything I’ve had in Denver. So fresh, full of flavor and unique. We loved every bite. We will absolutely be back! Just bummed we haven’t been sooner!

Easily the best restaurant in all of Denver. These guys are the absolute best and their attention to detail and sheer love for their craft shines through in every single dish. I have never and will never be disappointed by these wonderful humans

The service was awesome, I highly recommend taking their suggestions/getting all the toppings. Overall, 4/5 flavor wise. I really like the bowl, but I think the rice needed more seasoning or to be more dressed. I was also a little disappointed in my choice of the bass over the salmon, but it was not bad. The snack size was sufficient for a filling meal, but sizing up would be good to get extra salads.

Absolutely delicious! The guys at the front were super helpful and informative. Their recommendations were perfect! The food was freaking awesome, quality and fresh (plus a lot was locally sourced!). We had been searching for a good poki place and are so happy we trusted the reviews and drove down for this place! I will be telling everyone I know about Turtle Boat and will totally be back! Thank you guys for the good food!

High quality, delicious, and sustainably sourced, what more could you ask for? This establishment offers so many options for gluten free, soy free, and vegan customers. The owner is clearly intentional with not only the ingredients, but also the flavor combinations. The portion sizes are perfect and the fish is always fresh, tender, and full of delicious flavor. This is a top 5 favorite for me Denver and is the best poke I’ve had outside of Hawaii. If I had a genie and could wish for three things, one of my wishes would be to eat this every day.

This is the best poke I’ve had. They obviously care about their food, and everything I’ve had has been amazing. It’s such good food. Their fish is always fresh and lovely and they have amazing sides and salads and toppings to add. They support local sources for most of their ingredients. They also have amazing vegetarian, gluten free, and soy free options. Super inclusive and always a great meal.

So fresh, so tasty... This spot is easily the best poke I've had in the Denver metro. Locally sourced fish and greens. Exotic toppings and salads (glass noodle and wasab'amole are standouts). Easy parking. No indoor seating. This place immediately went on heavy rotation.

Amazing poke salads here! I keep coming back to try every salad and dressing. The yuzu vinaigrette is my favorite so far. Each ingredient tastes fresh, delicious, and expertly prepared. Definitely recommend.

Have been going here for quite some time and they're my favorite Poke place! They source locally when able and always have delicious fresh ingredients. Their staff is friendly and helpful and never cease to deliver delicious food. As a heads up they are a busy spot so the later in the day you go might limit you on your fish and side dish choices.

Please don't tell a bunch of people. This place is the kind you can't get out of a box. You can tell from the freshy fresh food, all the art and genuine good vibes. The BEST vibes from the human who gently guided me through my first time and who made thoughtful suggestions. I ONLY WISH I HAD TIPPED YOU WAY MORE!!!! Don't worry, I will be back and I will bring a friend because joy like this is much better shared....just not with everyone...you know. shhhhh!

What could be better than soup on a cold, wet day? Turtle Boat's Kabocha Curry soup! It is more delicious than it looks, and it looks amazing!

My to go poke shop. The staff is super attentive, they help you step by step when you have no idea what to order. They offer suggestions if you're wondering how each food tastes. Their classic tuna is the best seller, it is marinated with their special house sauce topped with some scallions and sesame seeds- yum!! They can also mix the sauces for you so you won't have the chance to complain about the sauce being too spicy or salty anymore. Variety of unlimited toppings. Good experience in overall, will definitely come back. Highly recommend.

What a local gem! This place has the kindest people doing everything right—preparing delicious, made-to-order poke bowls with an emphasis on sourcing sustainable seafood. Everything I’ve had has tasted incredible. Great toppings with awesome flavor and texture—love the fresh cabbage slaw and spicy ginger. Super cool local soda and kombucha for purchase, too.

My favorite spot for poke, these folks believe in their craft and put passion into the food. Love the unique protein options, i usually pick the protein and let them finish the bowl with the chefs choice. Give it a go, I guarantee you'll love it or I'll eat your poke bowl if you don't.

So so good!! Been coming here for a while but the soup of the day is what brought me to finally leave a review. They make their curry in-house, so the striped bass pumpkin curry soup I got today was phenomenal. Many locally-sourced fish options, cute interior, and super friendly staff. Not super pricey considering the consistently amazing quality. I tell all my friends to go here!
