Nobody ever expects to call a restoration company. One a random night in July 2022, our house was struck by lightning. The surge traveled down the gas line and ignited the gas in the attic. In a matter of minutes the third floor of our home was destroyed. Due to the heat of the fire it took a lot of water to put it out. That water seeped through the house and ruined almost everything we had. When I called my insurance agent, Lee Hopkins, at NC Farm Bureau; he mentioned he had a contact at Professional Restoration Services. I called PRS that night and they were at my home within one hour. Within 12 hours the PRS team gathered their resources including fans, dehumidifiers, and generators to minimize the water and mold damage. Within 2 days our home was covered with a tarp and work was already beginning on the recovery of our home. Drew Forehand and his recovery team at PRS took special care of our personal belongings and worked quickly to ensure the rebuild could begin. Our home needed extensive repairs and was brought down to studs on the inside and the entire third floor was removed. This was a huge project in which we had to select everything from door knobs to paint, new flooring, cabinets and counter tops. The burden of having to completely redo everything in our home was eased when we were introduced to Michael Brown, our project manager at PRS. He answered every question- and we had a lot. He kept us in the loop on the progress, made suggestions, and helped us turn this unfortunate event into the chance to design our dream home. We had the luxury of finding a rental home in our neighborhood and had the pleasure of meeting with Michael Brown regularly. We couldn’t be happier with the work that PRS did to give us our home and more importantly our life back.

Our 9 year old with Downs/Autism took a bath around 4am and we woke up at 5am to water pouring into our downstairs bathroom from upstairs. We called PRS and they were at our house within 15mins. Amazing customer service, professional and walked us through every step and explained very thorough from the beginning and end. I will use them again. if needed. I hope we don't have to use them, but hey will be my first call.

Fantastic customer service! All of the staff is very knowledgeable and informative. We had moisture in bathroom tile/floor, the leak from toilet on the second floor, which caused the mold on our kitchen ceiling on the first floor. Everyone we had the pleasure of working with were all so professional and personable. I highly recommend this company, and we would definitely use them again for future services.

We were caught with our backs against the wall late on a Sunday and as new homeowners we didn’t know who to call or what needed to be done to help turn around 1st floor water damage. PRS came within the hour and immediately started drying out the 1st floor to prevent any further damage. Drew and his crew were very knowledgeable about these types of issues and got us in the right direction and completely dry within five days. Would highly recommend.

PRS has made an otherwise really stressful situation, stress free. We received a call from our neighbor that water was coming through their kitchen with our shared wall on Halloween. We arrived to water coming down from the ceilings on the first floor. The flush valve in the toilet upstairs had broken due to cheap parts from the builder (Lennar). We immediately called a plumber who sent us to PRS. Drew came out around 10 PM that night and was extremely professional and calm. He assessed the damage and walked us through the next steps, including dealing with our home insurance. The mitigation process was as smooth as possible and removed any stress from our hands. We would never have been able to get through this time without their guidance.

Some vendors will take advantage of customers during a vulnerable time, such as during our kitchen fire. Michael Brown's integrity made me less cynical. He is patient, diligent, and personable. We could not ask for a better project manager to navigate the repair process. Mike is the "professional" in PRS. Honestly, every employee we interacted with was exemplary. PRS's personnel and work ethic set them high above other businesses in their field.

PRS did a great job of mold remediation. Super professional and very friendly too! I am a repeat customer who was very please with their work on another house in 2015 so trust me they are excellent!

I can't say enough about the professionalism, skill, and responsiveness of Professional Restoration Services! The Mitigation team were at our home the day after I placed a call to them, and they worked tirelessly to remove wet insulation under the house caused by a catastrophic burst pipe. Their efforts continued inside the house where moisture caused damage to part of the kitchen floor. Each crew involved in the process was courteous, efficient, and always willing to explain what they were doing. Project Manager Michael worked closely with us throughout the process of completing all the necessary repairs. He displayed extraordinary determination and patience with our insurance company when the assigned claims adjuster did not respond to PRS or to us. Thanks to his repeated efforts, our claim was finally processed, and the repairs were completed. We are thrilled with the results and are especially appreciative of the responsiveness and kindness with which all our questions were addressed by the entire team. Rarely do I do reviews, but PRS deserves this feedback and rating. I was hesitant to use them at first, because my insurance carrier recommended them - I thought perhaps they were recommending the cheapest provider. But because I don't have time to do my own research, I just went with the recommendation. Their customer service is absolutely amazing. I don't think I've experienced a small business with such exceptional service. The work was also very good, so no complaints there, they even did a few little things unrelated to addressing the water damage that was totally unrelated - like when I asked them to replace the light in our bathroom as it was being remodeled. I didn't dare try as it involved electricity and my husband is as likely to get shocked as me. The other nice thing about them is they work everything out with your insurance company - that which they can. This was our first claim so we didn't really know what we needed to do between our mortgage company and the insurance company so we were a little late going through loopholes of getting PRS paid, but they didn't hassle me about 'when is the money coming' and trusted that I was working on it and clueless as to the process. You're not going to go wrong with using them.

From start to finish, PRS was first-rate. We had our dishwasher leak and ruin our kitchen floors during the holidays. The PRS team worked to immediately mitigate our water damage and then helped us patiently navigate the insurance process and ultimate repair work. We recently had an upstairs water leak that ultimately caused our downstairs living room ceiling to collapse. We had drywall, insulation and water in the entire room and all over the furniture. We called PRS and Drew was literally at our house in 30min. He did a thorough inspection of the damage to the ceiling, the upstairs floors, the walls and the downstairs floor. About 20mins after he arrived his crew was on-site starting the clean up. Brent and Dustin (the crew) walked in and said we will get this all back to normal as quickly as we can. And they began the demo and clean up. Dustin and Brent were very professional and personable and help make the very tense situation much more bearable. Within a few hours the mess was cleaned up and the fans were running to dry everything out. I was blown away with the entire team's timeliness, professionalism, calmness, thoroughness and overall great attitudes. I highly recommend PRS. Now we are just waiting to begin the restoration phase!

In late September water happened! Water was coming from under the baseboard in the dining room that shares a wall with a utility closet. Obvious first check was water heater( no problem), then HVAC air handler(no problem) THEN I called PRS! Drew came immediately and we discovered there was a leak in the hot water line inside the wall. The plumber who I had called waited for Drew. Drew has a moisture meter that quickly IDs moisture levels. The wall and flooring showed excessive moisture. After cutting out the wallboard the leak was repaired AND we discovered polybutylene pipes. Giovanni and Barry came to clean up, set up fans and dehumidifiers both in the house and utility closet. Knowing we have polybutylene pipes, we will re-plumb the house before having PRS do the repairs needed. I have worked with PRS at another home so am super confident in their expertise.

My home had unprecedented amounts of damage due to fiberglass exposure resulting from a mismanaged window installation project. Before contacting PRS, I didn’t know where to start, nor was there any existing protocols to follow. The crew from PRS is exceptional. They were very dependable, their communication skills were clear and informative, and I would recommend them to anyone. I called Professional Restoration because they are one stop stopping. I did not want to have to call several different companies to do the work needed after a pipe broke in my wall and the floors were missed up. I needed all new hardwood floors and carpet downstairs in my 3000 square foot home. I was assigned Michael Brown as my project manager, and he was awesome. This was a very big job, and it took a month to finish, but I am so happy with the quality of material I selected, and the quality of service given. They did everything for me. To moving all my furniture into a POD in the driveway to putting everything back and sending someone over to clean for me at the end of the job. Everyone that was sent to the house by him to do their section of the work was awesome. They were professional, they explained everything they were doing. They gave me a schedule of the day’s work was to be completed and what work would be completed on that day. I can't express how much pressure was taking off me at getting this big job done. Everyone that came to the house was professional, friendly and they care for the other surroundings in my home. They control any mess and dusk. Everyone was awesome. If you every need any work done around your home. I would highly recommend this complete. Also, the accounting staff in the office was also very helpful. They answered any questions I had and explained much of the process for me. Peace of mind is the best description I can give to everyone that helped me. Thank you so much.

We had just moved into our house in Apex at the end of July 2020 and found out there was water damage. I reached out to the company in August and they promptly came out to assess the damage. The mitigation manager came and his guys had the moisture dried up over a weekend. We then dealt with the repair manager who kept us updated and worked with my teaching schedule to have it be as stress free as possible. The owner also came out to check on things. The owner, mitigation manager and repair manager were always accessible. The contractors they worked with followed Covid protocols and the work was completed in October. We were very pleased with all of the repairs and communication with the company. Do not hesitate to call them today!

PRS did a fantastic job on our mitigation and repair work. They were extremely responsive and professional. There was a project manager for the mitigation (Drew) and for the restoration (Patrick) and they were both great! They were in contact and/or here throughout the project and followed up to make sure all scheduled workers showed up when they were supposed to be here. They both made sure we were happy with all the work at the end of the project. They were easily available for questions every step of the way. Would definitely recommend and use again if needed.

PRS responded immediately to my request for help with dishwasher leak. Wood floors were cupping. Two neighbors who had water leaks had recommended them. They have returned every day to check dehumidifier equipment and progress, and each step is being documented. They made the contract process straightforward, fair and simple. In summary, they have been competent, professional, trustworthy and easy to work with.

We had a leaky dishwasher that caused damage to our wood floors, kitchen cabinets, and crawl space. I was concerned that we wouldn't be able to file a claim with our insurance company, because we had recently filed a claim for roof damage. Drew with PRS came to our house to inspect the damage and felt there wouldn't be an issue with our insurance company. He explained the process to me and advised me to file the claim. Drew then worked directly with our insurance adjuster to get the claim approved. Everyone from PRS was extremely professional. We received a project timeline, which started with the mitigators coming to dry everything out. After that, Patrick oversaw the restoration process of repairing the damaged cabinets, crawl space, and the wood floors. The damaged floor boards were replaced and the entire floor then sanded and stained to the color of our choice. Patrick was terrific through the whole process. The communication was excellent, and he was always available to answer any question I had. Every PRS employee who worked in our home was courteous and professional. I hope I don't need them again, but I won't hestitate to call them if I do. I highly recommend contacting them for your restoration needs!

During our pipe break / home flood emergency we tried to reach multiple well known firms, but only Professional Restoration Services was responsive and helpful. PRS immediately jumped into action and began clean up and remediation process. Everyone was so helpful and professional throughout. I had a roof leak on Good Friday….and it continued to rain all day. Professional Restoration Services is as they advertise…PROFESSIONAL!! Even though it was a holiday, they contacted a roofing company to cover the hole in the roof ( in the pouring rain!) and came the next morning to put the process in place to mitigate the damage. Drew and Jhoel were informative, respectful, considerate of my property and pleasant to be around. All the men who worked on my situation were professional. I highly recommend PRS to anyone when the need arises. They made an otherwise horrible problem mush easier to deal with.

We had a steam pipe burst in our crawl space and had to kick out our tenant. We were living overseas when all this happened but PRS (and my neighbor/property manager) did an excellent job of communicating with me despite the distance. They basically had to take care of the mold that was starting to grow, rip out the entire first floor, replace the main floor's walls and repaint, replace the HVAC and water heater. They did a great job of getting our house ready for when we got back. We are very happy with their work!

Excellent communication + documentation through text + email making the document signatures, insurance info, invoices/payments quick and easy. Wow! What can I say about the folks - simply A+ amazing. We had some water damage from our fridge and PRS was absolutely fantastic to work with. We just finished the water mitigation, but will update when the whole job is completsed the damage, explained the entire process, and got his crew working. I can’t recall their two names, but they were extremely careful and clean when removing the damage. Mike, PM, came a few days later and did the estimate for repairs. Great guy with a ton of experience and answered all our questions and explained the whole process and next steps both working with them and my insurance. Jhoel, mitigation supervisor, literally might be the nicest guy I’ve ever met. Came by pretty much every day to check the drying process. Super friendly and courteous (he even moved my trash can up from the street). As with the others, kept me up to date with the process, and answered all our questions. PRS has taken what is a bad situation and made it as painless as possible. I don’t wish home damage to anyone, but if you find yourself in that unfortunate situation, I highly recommend contacting these folks.

We had water damage. PSR showed up the next day. They adhered to scope and budget. Team was punctual, would call ahead to reconfirm exact arrival dates/times throughout the remediation and reconstruction. Project started and ended on time. Walked us through the process, so there were no surprises. Truly professionals and courteous from the managers down to the actual staff in the trenches. Manager would show up every day to answer questions and to keep us up-to-date on progress. After the project ended, they were as responsive to address any issues that we raised, as they were during the project.
