I would like to thank ServPro for their immediate response to a 3 level floor water flood that took place in my home. After coming home from work on a Friday afternoon to discover this nightmare was beyond belief. My insurance company referred me to ServPro and within an hour a representative came to evaluate the situation. Shortly after, a huge crew of workers were here to start the clean up process. They were here for 8 hours removing damaged materials and set up heavy duty fans and dehumidifiers. A few days later, other crews came to remove more structural damaged items.

Our pipes froze and burst on Christmas Day. This ServPro office was recommended to us by our insurance agent. While other ServPro offices were putting us on waiting lists due to the volume of calls, this location was quick to respond and send a team over for mitigation. In addition, they handled the reconstruction needed. David Cruz was the primary contact we worked with, along with the field project manager Edder. They were friendly, professional, understanding, and great to work with. The teams of contractors that came to our house were friendly and did great work. Highly recommend this ServPro location.

There is no company or organization I would trust more than Servpro. FEMA doesn't even come close to the level of customer service that Servpro offers.

Last week we had a sanitary sewer back up that affected about half of our finished basement. Due to the nature of such a horrible incident my wife and I were extremely concered about the lasting effects if not handled properly. We have several children and they spend a lot of time down there with friends. As a reslult we did not take the selection of a company to clean it up very lightly. Subsequently we leaned on a lot of friends for advice as well as recomendations. A doctor friend from Libetyville had a bad fire in their home a couple of years back and we remembered the great care he took in vetting his clean up contractor due to concern over the toxins in soot. He gave us the number for this pariticular Servpro (apparantly they are individual franchises) and we gave them a call. Though we were worried about how far they were when he told us they are in Glendale Heights it did not present a problem. The Servpro represententive explained that they are the largest in the Chicago area and had multiple locations. It was during business hours that we called and after briefly explaining to the girl that answered we were patched through to Jerome. He was professional and spoke direct and pragmatic. He walked us through what to expect and with in 3 hours we where greated by a team of 5 led by Joe who identified himself as a crew chief. Joe was clean cut and well mannered. He was especially effective in calming my wife with his obvious knowledge. Though he looked rather young he was excellent at addressing a long list of questions we had on the process. He was impressive every step of the way and spolke well about everything we threw at him. He even explained about how he was going to control the air quality during the process. Aside from being 15 minutes late the next day Joe executed as he had promised. I rarely take the time to write such a review but on a subject that may have put my family at perpetual long term risk if not handled properly I was inclined to take the time to try and pay forward. A higher rating was contemplated but the 2nd day tardiness and some empty cans of soda they left on a shelf im my garage held me back. The immportant thing is that they know how to clean, control, and sanitize after such a catastophic violating mess.Their office was also excellent at handling all the info our insurance company requried. When sump pump failed and basement flooded mold in the walls became a big problem. Skilled workers quickly removed the wallboard covered in mold and treated with solution to kill any undetected mold issues. With a new born baby in house this was very important to our peace of mind.

I recently had a great experience with the Servpro of Carol Stream/ E. Bloomingdale at the worst possible moment, I had over 2 inches of water in my basement and I was freaking out did not know what to do i was in a state of panic, I called Servpro from the start the customer service was outstanding and within 2 hours their at my home with a 3 man crew, talk about response time. Right away the lead of the crew, Jacob Nava explained the process to me in a courteous manner never pushy and explained to me what was able to be saved, what had to be tore out and he explained why, which gave me much comfort. Jacob was very knowledgeable of the process and made a difficult situation the best it could be and for that I would use Servpro again during a loss at my home again ( I hope I dont have one). Jacob was great, I've must of called him a dozen times during the process with questions, but not once was he rude he was very patient and answered all my questions accordingly.
