Ok, came out here from Riverside because it was recommended to me. After almost 2 hours of fighting traffic I get here at about 5:05 p.m. on a Thursday afternoon (posted hours days open until 6:00 p.m.) and they have a sign on the door saying "Sorry we are closing early today...Please come back tomorrow". I love business owners who are so nonchalant with their given hours of operation. Bad business. Either have backup to cover when you want to go goof off the rest of the day or post your hours by appointment only (or just don't have a business if it's going to get in the way of your personal life).I was only recommended here as some place that would most likely buy what I had for little value it gained. I ain't coming back out here again. Granted maybe I should have called first but still... So with that said call first before wasting your time and your fuel for NOTHING.

I highly recommend the Coin Exchange of West Covina, let me explain my experience. My family had to have some coins appraised after the passing of a loved one. David (the owner) was so welcoming and friendly. He thoroughly explained how the process worked, the expectations of value and if we wanted to sell anything he would be willing to make an offer. He went through everything I had to bring (twice actually), took careful consideration and broke everything down in detail which I greatly appreciated. While I was there, his other customers seemed very happy as well with his service. I trust him and I really like to support the small businesses in our community. David and Coin Exchange of West Covina are a real asset to the City of West Covina. I will absolutely return with any currency questions or concerns in the future and you should too. Cheers, Blake

Bill and David gave great customer service. I like that they sanitize the cases between customers to keep me safe. I don't know much about coins and they were great teachers without making me feel dumb. Prices are competitive. I will definitely be back.

Dave is a great guy, a fellow veteran, knowledgeable, amicable, polite, patient and respectful. Prices are good, below online and very small markups for a small locally owned shop. Coin exchange is my go to for all things precious metals.

Went here to buy a gift for my Boss. There was a large selection but was disappointed that they charges double the spot price of silver of a silver medallion I wanted. I don't know how they have return business when they charge such a high premium.

I gave this real friendly cool guy 500 for silver coins I got a roll of dimes worth 200 if that 9 quarters worth 100 and about 6 half dollar worth 65 bucks I felt ripped of after shopping around other business. And he knew I wasnt very knowledgeable about what I was buying
