After having been to a ton of sushi restaurants, I can confidently say this place is hands down the best one I’ve been to in Michigan. Their salmon is suuper fresh with deep flavors and fantastically presented in a variety of dishes (the Sake-don, salmon dream roll, and their torch salmon are my absolute favs). Phenomenal service as well. The fruit dish they give you at the end really shows the amount of effort and detail they put into their work. I’ve literally been back to this place several times a week since they opened and have never disappointed. As long as this continues I will always remain a fan!

This new family restaurant is a pretty good addition to the list of Asian restaurant in the Farmington area. 2 problems they have though. 1. Their sauce ( sushi and cooking sauce is too sweet). 2. Short staff so sometimes if they get a lot of to go order during bad weather then you have wait a longggg time for food

The owners are the most wonderful people. Super kind and hospitable. Patient with ordering. Sushi roll was fantastic (sunflower roll!). And they gave us some stuff on the house including this wonderful vase!

Great sushi spot, been there a few times now and their sushi tastes great and fresh. My favorite rolls so far have been the Trump roll and the firecracker roll. Surprised this place isn’t busier on Friday night

We have been searching for outstanding sushi for over 5 years since moved from California to Michigan. We have finally found the Holy Grail. Ken Ken's sushi was more than outstanding. It rivals Los Angeles and New York sushi establishments. The quality and presentation of the sushi was spectacular. The service was friendly and helpful. This is the best sushi in Michigan. We will only be eating at Ken Ken as long as we are in Michigan.

This was my first experience and it exceeded my expectation. Quality of food great, everything came out fresh. The dumplings were delicious. Edamame was fresh. The tuna crunch roll was very good. The trump roll was tasty. Spicy salmon was great. Overall great experience.

The atmosphere is cool. I saw a five star review and I was very excited. Nothing note worthy here. The sushi was barely better than Kroger. The price was cheap compared but you get that in the food. We got spicy salmon and avocado roll, that was Drenched in spicy mayo. Spicy tuna hand roll was okay. Nothing to it really. The fried rice was disgusting. It looked like vomit. Waste of $14. Chicken Katsu was good, but it’s served like this. The waiter was decent. Seemed super overwhelmed even thou there was never 5 people in the restaurant at one time. Also weird thing I noticed, they play uncensored music so if you want to bring kids, I’d pass if you care about vulgarity Update: we informed them about the chicken fried rice and said if it would be possible to take it off the bill. Not more than one bite was taken. He laughed, like chuckled and said no. LOLLL that should explain the experience

We first visited Ken Ken a couple months ago for carry out, and we’ve been hooked ever since! We try a new roll every time we go and it never disappoints. Food is fresh and very tasty.

Now I know why I heard great things about this place. I stopped in to get takeout. I ordered a dragon roll and fried shrimp dumplings. They included a side salad also. Didn't have to wait too long. The dining room is not large but unless they are very busy you should not have to wait long for a table if you have to at all. While the salad was just average, the dragon roll and fried shrimp dumplings were some of the best I ever had. They do take reservations so my dining group will get to join me next time I come unless I get some more take out since it is so close to my house.

I went there to try something new for lunch break. Menu? Wow. There is no lunch deal. Nothing is under $20 except rolls and lunch special. I had to get a lunch special to save my bill Ordered bibimbap, spicy sushi roll combo, and a special. Food overall was so disappointing. Holy cow! why does their sushi taste like either melon from their california roll and kochujang (korean hot pepper paste for bibimbap)???????? Only bibimbap was ok This food does not meet my standard as an asian food. I am sorry, I am not coming back.

We recently moved just down the street from here and loved our experience. We are big sushi people and found theirs to be very fresh and creative. I will definitely be back for the Bibimbap!

Yummy yummy! The rolls are very inventive and cutely named. We got four rolls, and gyoza. It came with miso soup and salad (I so appreciate that) and we were very full after. The rice was perfect, the ingredients were nice and fresh, you could tell they took a lot of care to prepare everything meticulously. Beer is pricey but hey… it’s imported and I’d rather have the choice to buy than not have it at all! No complaints, 5 stars

Delicious sushi! I loved the CRAB LOVER! Best sushi I’ve tried in Detroit area! We’ve also tried other 3 specials rolls, and all of them turned out to be great and tasty! 5/5

I've gotten sushi here a few times now, and the consistency and quality that these guys turn out is very appreciated. The amount of fish they give you is very respectable for the price, the rice is seasoned well, and they let you customize the rolls. One of if not the best sushi places in metro Detroit.

Not your typical sushi place. They have several unique dishes including spicy chicken and shrimp tempura buns. They blend familiar flavors/ingredients in a different way, and everything we had was so good. The restaurant is so clean, and it's fun to watch them make our sushi. The chefs are very good at what they do. Will be going back frequently!

Food was good. Service was great! We was greeted right away and seated. The waitress was attentive. The crab lover and yam yam roll was very good. Miso soup and salad was also very good.

Great veggie sushi and solid service! They provide a small salad and soup when you dine in (both are fresh). The tempura sweet potatoes roll is the best!

First time was awesome! Unfortunately today we had a very poor an inefficient service. The waitress made us wait a long time to take our order and they brought it 30 min later also in a sharing plate for everyone in the table when we didn’t requested so. After that, it took a long time again until she could come with the bill. Food was tasty but bad service ruins the whole good experience, I may give it a try again at some point hopefully they improve by then, unfortunately I will go back to sushi house since service is better there. This is my new favorite sushi place! The food was excellent and delicious, the service is really nice and the atmosphere is perfect. The hot green tea was the best compliment for my food, I’ll try the cold tea next time.😊

We were on this side of town. Found ourselves hungry and in need of sustenance. We found this through Google. The service is good. The place is clean. The food is tasty and fresh. Many allergens are marked on the menu. The warm house sake was very good too.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! Start to finish... Perfection! Every single minute was top notch! Best meal I've ever had!! Do not miss this one! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! It really was incredible!
