We enjoyed our first hot air balloon ride with Tucson Balloon Rides this morning - and it was the best balloon ride we've had of three so far! Kevin and crew did a great job getting the balloon ready, telling us what to expect, showing us the sights while airborne, and bringing us to a successful, if a bit of a rock'n'roll landing (that was actually super fun!). The team did a great job, the ride in the balloon was smooth, and the experience overall took about three hours. The views of the sunrise to the east and the mountains to the west was simply beautiful. If you've never gone on a balloon ride, give it a try because it's great fun, very safe, and worth the experience.

Kevin provided us a safe, smooth and informative hour-long balloon ride. He made sure all of the riders were comfortable and answered all of our questions. He and his crew did a great job setting up and taking down the balloon and then treated us with a delicious mimosa brunch. First class operation all the way!

Visiting Tucson? I cannot recommend Tucson Hot Air Balloon rides enough! • From the minute the adventure started to the final ride home, the experience was incredible. • Kevin (owner/pilot) is the nicest guy and his team is gregarious, cheerful and informative even at 5am. Kevin was so knowledgable and calm throughout the ride that my nerves were quickly put to ease (I don't like heights). • The ride itself was serene, quiet and awe-inspiring as we lifted off at sunrise over the Tucson Valley. • We flew over the Tucson mountain range and the West side of Saguaro National Park while watching the sunrise over the Rincon Mountains. It was breath-taking at every turn. • Our landing was smoother than most planes I’ve been on and his crew was there to help every step of the way. We ended the ride with a light brunch and mimosa toast and later that day were gifted pictures of our flight (some included here). • By 9am or so, we were on with our day and felt alive in a way we never have before. • Conditions have to be perfect to launch but consider this your push. If you ever have a chance to take flight in a hot-air balloon, trust me you will not regret the experience! I also want to add that Kevin and his crew took all the necessary COVID-19 precautions. We wore masks on the flight and the vans rides were private so the other family drove in one van and we drove in the other. We felt very safe the entire time.

This was our first hot air balloon experience and everything went perfectly. Our pilot Kevin did a great job and was very informative during the entire ride. The take off and landing were a bit bumpy as expected but nothing too intimidating. They do offer you a light brunch and champagne toast well. We had such a memorable time.

Flew from New York to do this hot air balloon ride. Everything was completely amazing from start to finish. Kevin and his team were very professional and we were amazed by the amount of team effort it took to put everything together. We were given a champagne brunch afterwards. This was our second trip with Kevin. We had 8 family members out for a post Thanksgiving family adventure and it was outstanding! Our first flight was also with 8 family and friends and everyone had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect - from the description of what to expect to the inflight narrative to the post flight meal. None of the pictures on this site can begin to capture the awesomeness of experiencing a balloon flight and the local Tucson Mountain scenery in person. We will definitely do it again sometime. Definitely recommend Tucson Balloon Rides! They went above and beyond to treat us to the balloon ride we were all looking forward to taking. Due to the wind, they had to inflate the balloon not once, but twice! They kept our safety in mind and gave us an experience of a lifetime. They were professional and fun! I have been on a balloon ride elsewhere, but this one was by far the most fantastic experience. I loved the brunch with his family, what a nice touch... to top it off, I received pictures from our flight that were fantastic... I highly recommend them and will go up again if I happen to be in Tucson!

Also if you’re afraid of heights this is definitely for you. I’m not comfortable at all with tall buildings, cliff ledges, basically and distance between me and the ground. The entire process of booking the trip was handled professionally and without issue. The ride itself was humbling, exciting, and so peaceful. The first part of the balloon ride was so peaceful it made us all whisper when anyone tried to talk. Kevin, pilot, shared little tidbits of Tucson geography and history while he expertly maneuvered the balloon. And he nailed the landing! I'm ready to go again!

A friend gifted me something from my bucket list--a balloon ride--and I had an amazing experience with Tucson Balloon Rides. Kevin is a great pilot and storyteller. As he answered the questions of people in our group, I learned about the decisions that go into a flight and the history of balloon festivals in Tucson. I loved watching the balloon fill, and the flight was peaceful and beautiful. It was fun to see Tucson from a new perspective and interesting to hear about the things we were seeing. The landing was stunning--Kevin managed to land the balloon on pavement steps away from where we were served a champagne brunch. The whole day was lovely, and the only thing is . . . I can't cross this off my bucket list. I know I will fly with Tucson Balloon Rides again. So much fun with really nice people!

My husband and I really enjoyed our recent trip up in the skies. It was both our first time to go on a hot air balloon. We didn't go in with any expectations and we both really enjoyed it. Kevin was our pilot and he was very friendly, knowledgeable and capable. His crew were experienced and proficient at getting the balloon up and down. The brunch they served afterwards was excellent, We really enjoyed the views of the Tucson area and the surrounding mountain ranges. It was fun to see the desert from a new angle. Recommended for people who want a fun, outdoor excursion to appreciate a new perspective. The views were amazing!

For my helicoptor flying boyfriend, I surprised him with a Sunrise Sonoran Hot Air Balloon Ride! He loved it, I loved it, it was fun from watching the balloon go up, to being in the air, and I definitely enjoyed the post flight brunch. The crew and office staff did a fantastic job of helping me know what to expect from booking to flight. A definite must do.

Our pilot, Kevin, was very: personal, Informative, and the leader of a great crew. We were blessed with 4 friendly ladies from Dallas, that kept the conversation lively and very pleasant. 10+++ Since I'm in the service business I understand when a company offers great service, and they do. I know it is not always easy for most companies, but Tucson Balloon Rides, really gets it right and they go above and beyond, this is one of the best experiences I have had, not only was the ride the most exciting things I've done..to be able float from above and see all below me without any windows, they made me feel very safe and it was a super experience because of their great service added to the ride.

My first time up in a balloon and I totally loved it and want to go again. I cannot say enough about the professional crew and all the beautiful pictures that were forwarded to us after the flight. This is definitely an experience you do not want to miss!
