Well
worth
the
time!
My
son
and
I
had
the
opportunity
to
participate
in
a
couple
of
different
experiences
at
Koli
Equestrian
Center
while
out
in
Chandler,
AZ.
Our
first
was
a
guided,
private
90
minute
horse
ride.
Being
novices,
I
was
a
little
concerned
before
our
ride.
Our
guide,
Robert,
did
a
wonderful
job
of
putting
us
at
ease.
He
was
engaging,
amusing
and
knowledgeable.
We
were
lead
to
an
area
of
the
reservation
where
we
encountered
wild
horses
and
watched
as
they
interacted
with
their
environment.
Needless
to
say,
the
scenery
was
magnificent!
The
second
was
a
Native
American
Indian
Cultural
Experience
with
a
group
of
families
for
a
school
event.
The
afternoon
started
with
a
hay
ride
lead
by
Blass.
That
was
followed
by
a
horse
ride,
shorter
than
yesterday
but
just
as
enjoyable.
We
again
had
the
good
fortune
of
having
Robert
lead
us.
We
had
several
in
the
group
that
had
never
ridden
before.
They
did
not
seem
like
they
had
any
problems
keeping
up
or
maybe
it
was
more
that
the
horses
lead
the
way
and
their
passengers
were
just
along
for
the
ride.
Robert
being
Robert
knew
everyone’s
name
by
the
end
of
the
ride.
The
banter
was
light
and
engaging.
After
the
ride,
we
were
lead
back
to
the
grassy
area
by
the
office
that
had
been
transformed
into
a
picnic
area.
Chuck
and
his
crew
were
cooking
over
an
open
fire.
The
sun
was
beginning
to
set
over
the
mountains.
We
were
entertained
with
games
and
beautiful
Native
American
dances
and
songs.
Chuck
and
everyone
at
Koli
made
this
experience
beyond
anything
we
could
have
imagined.
We
can’t
wait
to
go
back!
I’m
not
sure
that
calling
Koli
an
Equestrian
Center
does
what
they
have
to
offer
justice!
If
there
was
a
complaint,
it
would
be
that
the
signage
was
small
and
difficult
to
see
from
the
road
for
a
newcomer
and
that
it
was
hard
to
drive
out
in
the
dark.
However,
I
believe
others
would
find
that
part
of
the
magic.
Next
time
we’ll
have
them
pick
us
up
and
drop
us
off
at
the
Sheraton(where
the
service
is
complementary.
