If you are looking for more than just a hot air balloon ride then this is the company for you! All around great experience from start to finish. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Booked the sunrise flight as a surprise birthday gift for my boyfriend. Our first attempt to fly we were unable to get off the ground due to weather (apparently its been a difficult year for ballooning because of el nino!) but the staff reassured us that we would be able to rebook at our earliest convenience. They even offered us the flight the very next morning but we were unable to attend. We rebooked for a sunset flight a few weeks later. The meeting place was GREAT especially if you are trying to surprise someone because we meet in a lot in front of a pottery shop...my boyfriend said "We are taking a pottery class at 6 AM!?" It was priceless hahahaha anyways it is easy to find as well following iPhone map directions which is great. The staff greets you and sets up a cute little table with fresh brewed Cartel (local) coffee and treats. We got their homemade Horchata the second time and it was delicious! Even my boyfriend who doesnt like Horchata tried it and loved it and drank an entire cup lol. Once everyone has arrived, had their snack, and the van is loaded and ready we take off to find a launching site which might be close or just a little bit of a drive. It depends on the wind and conditions. The staff begins to set up the balloon for launch at the site and they encourage you to help out if you want, get involved, and even tough the balloon as it inflates if you want! That part was really fun. They even had a professional who came out and took pictures of us on the ground and as we were taking off. The actual balloon ride was sooooo amazing it was a gorgeous day, perfect temperatures, the flight was very calm and peaceful and not scary at all. Even though I was a little nervous before taking off I quickly felt extremely comfortable. Our pilot was very skilled, experienced, and knowledgeable and friendly with a great sense of humor. We flew for an hour with incredible views including Lake Pleasant before making a soft landing assisted by the ground crew. The ground crew tracked us to meet up with us right when we landed and began to set up dinner. The dinner was the cherry on top of a wonderful experience! I was expecting good food but I was blown away by the meal. It was gourmet and delicious! And the post flight toast and drink was so great! The Float company owners utilize training from different chefs, bartenders, and restaurants to put together an absolutely incredible dinner for you. You will be full and happy! They are also incredibly friendly and gracious hosts. We may as well have been in their dining room instead of the middle of the desert! But being outside watching the sunset and having out meal under string lights and stars was beautiful and perfect. I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you, Float Balloon Tours! My girlfriend and I had planned a trip to Phoenix for her friends wedding. While looking for some fun things to do while we were out there. Some how the thought of going for a ride in a balloon occurred to one of us. I started doing some research. While doing so I had the thought that this might be a fun time to propose to her. A Google search brought me to Float which was clearly the best option with an evening dinner and champagne after the balloon ride, along with the option to add a professional photographer. Preston was great from the start in helping get everything set up and explaining how they like to do proposals and get great photos of the moment. My girlfriend and I had an amazing time. It was the perfect ending to an amazing day that began at the Grand Canyon and ended with a shooting star during our dinner with Float. Hands down the BEST ballooning experience ever!!! The flight, the crew, the food, the experience was amazing. My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary, which was almost ruined because another ballooning company cancelled on us last minute. Luckily I found Float and am soooo glad I did. They provided coffee and homemade cookies preflight, an amazing flight experience with a very knowledgeable and entertaining pilot, and a unforgettable breakfast in the middle of the desert. Did I mention cocktails also. The whole crew was so nice friendly and entertaining. It was such an amazing experience and unlike any other balloon company I ever read about. What an amazing adventure! Right from the beginning the hospitality was incredible. Pilot Scott was so knowledgeable and made even those afraid of heights comfortable. He told us all about the vegetation, animals and cool sights we were flying over. The breakfast was superb and the set up in the desert was absolutely adorable. Would 100% recommend this company!

This company is above the rest !! One of the best experiences of my life. The staff was warm,kind,professional, and most of all funny which eased the nerves there balloon rides are longer then most so you get your money's worth , plus the food and setting for breakfast (as we did the sunrise) was 5 star with special infused mimosa huge table decor music in the middle of dessert top 3 experiences of my life and I've lived . I cannot say enough about Float Balloon tours. This was our first time ever in a hot air balloon and my wife and I actually were married in it. The entire crew worked extremely hard from early in the morning until we were done. I would recommend this company to anyone. The atmosphere and the genuine enjoyment were real with everyone we came across. Thank you to everyone, from Matt and Olivia to Will (our pilot) and the multiple crew members who inflated the balloon and deflated it at the end! You guys are amazing!!

Would do this again any day! The flying was incredible and lasted longer than any other flight we saw that day in the air. It was a magical experience that we will never forget. Marc & Olivia ( we did not meet but provided excellent service over the phone) as well as the pilots and entire crew provide exceptional service without making it seem touristy and 'groupy' if you know what I mean. Wife and I got a gift card for a balloon ride. Great.... Having anxiety of heights, I wasn't sure if I could even make it into the basket upon lift off... but I am so glad I did. The trip from start to finish was nothing but spectacular. A+ to all the staff and balloon captain. It was truly more than we expected and the sights were amazing. I would go again in a heartbeat! This was an incredibly amazing experience. The staff was friendly, personable, and completely wonderful. It was lovely to land and have breakfast in the middle of the desert. Wow! What an experience! Float Balloon Tours is the best, I highly recommend them. A small locally owned company; we were the second Balloon (of nearly 20) in the west valley to get up and the last to set down. All the crew and staff were great, and breakfast in the desert was truly gourmet. One of the best times yet I've had here in the desert.

My sister and her fiancé’s combined bachelor/bachelorette party was in Scottsdale and we had so much fun with Halle, Scott, Daryl, and the whole crew. We partied in the dessert and it was an unforgettable morning. The views were amazing, it was so relaxing and calming. I called all the hot air balloon companies in the area and I’m so glad we went with Float Balloon Tours!...I can’t say enough good things about them! They love their job and it really showed when they accommodated our party of 22. Don’t waste your time calling up all the other companies...go with them!!

We had an amazing experience with this company. The whole crew were so friendly, informative and helpful. Talking about pride in their services; Matt and Olivia gave their great effort to serve a wonderful romantic dinner. I never expected the food were great, I thought it's gonna be like what I called airplane food, but talking about fancy yumm. I love the story Matt told us on our way back about his experienced with the javelina pig and mountain lion...Just perfect can't ask for more.

Olivia & Matt created the most memorable bucket list experience. The tour started with coffee and homemade cookies at their shop before the ride followed by a detailed summary of what to expect and what to be prepared for. Our pilot, Wild Bill, was the real deal, funny and knowledgeable. We felt like we were in great and extremely experienced hands. Our ride covered at least a good 10 + miles and 60+ minutes of ride time. Meanwhile, we could see competitor balloons in the distance and they looks stagnant, not traveling much ground. We tracked over mountains and a nature preserve. Wild Bill controlled the balloon to lower and get closer views of the canyons and mountains and gave us a relatively smooth landing. Matt and Olivia and their team met us at the landing site and set up a gorgeous table for brunch complete with local flowers. They had a cocktail demonstration with delicious spiced honey mimosas followed by a gourmet homemade brunch right in the middle of the desert. This was truly the most memorable experience. We couldn't have imagined a better way to start off our trip in Arizona.

The balloon adventure could not have been better. The crew was very welcoming a nd friendly. The ride was awesome. We were full but not uncomfortable. The captain would turn the basket so we all could see all around. We saw good sights including wildlife. After the ride and a good landing we all sat down for breakfast prepared by the crew with table decorations, and great food. The champagne toast was delicious. I couldn’t ask for a better experience.

First time going on a hot air balloon ride. Wonderful staff, good ride. Very informative, and fun! Seemed like the pilot (Scott) was more adventurous than the other balloon companies we saw around us. The crew took good care of us and the food after the ride in the desert was a nice touch. Wish i could give 100 stars if i could! If youre looking for more of intimate experience, this is it. Dont even look anywhere else! Our pilot was amazing, award winning guy who was super friendly. Met so many great people. Brunch at the end of the tour was cooked on site. We had 9 people on our tour and everyone was so great. Flight itself was so smooth, serene, and all in all just amazing. I cant even get on ferris wheels but this was so worth getting over my fear. Wasnt even too scary. Please do yourself a favor and fly with this company !!

This was definitely a "bucket-list" item for us and yet Float Tours still managed to exceed our expectations!! When you're meeting at 5:15am, coffee is a necessity and when this is accompanied by ridiculously delicious cookies you know you've chosen well. The staff was so friendly and amusing nobody even minded that we had to drive to a couple of different sites before they found one where the "wind was right". It was a cloudy day and it was fantastic to float in and out of the mist...and made for spectacular pictures as well. There were 10 of us in the balloon basket and which felt comfortable and not overcrowded. After spending a glorious hour and a half in the air, we floated back down to earth to enjoy very tasty breakfast burritos, chocolate caramel brownies, and a cranberry and champagne toast! The banner in their office says it all....Best Day Ever!!

The tour was amazing! The staff was nice and explained every step that we were taking during the experience. The balloon ride itself is pretty magical, super smooth and they served us an awesome breakfast in the desert after the ride.

Awesome experience! Took the wife for her birthday. We got to witness a proposal. Had an amazing breakfast in the middle of the desert. Met great people. Let me start by saying that I do not normally rave about companies because I think everyone should provide great customer service. Float Balloon Tour, hands down was an amazing experience from start to finish! I was in Scottsdale, Arizona celebrating my 30th birthday with a group of friends. None of us have ever been on a hot air balloon, and this 1st time experience was bomb. The kindness and customer service was great. The directions to get to the pick up location was super easy. The instructions given before the flight were very clear, and made being up in the air not too scary. Our pilot Will was great, and interacted with the group very well (we joked, and laughed the entire time). The take off and landing was great. The breakfast and table setting was amazing, and beautiful. It was my birthday (along with 3 other people that day), and they surprised us by placing a candle on our desserts and singing us happy birthday. We had breakfast burritos with carne asada, eggs, pico, and cheese...it was amazing. I would definitely recommend this company for either family or girls trip. The entire staff were amazing. Did I mention that everyone was amazing?

This was AMAZING! This company has it together! From start (coffee and home made herbal tea with warm cookies) to Finish (beautiful and delicious breakfast in the desert with yummy champagne cocktails). It was seamless. Jake met us when we got there and was the best host for the entire trip. He explained how it would all happen from setting up the balloon to coming back in. Safety and expectations were set and he was on point! Scott was our pilot and we could not have asked for better!!! He was phenomenal! His experience showed for sure! The best! He explained how he was able to maneuver the balloon using the winds at various altitudes and chatted about what we were seeing, told us about his flying history, and absolutely loved the balloon prayer champagne toast over breakfast. I highly recommend this company!! Loved every bit of this experience. Not one negative word possible! And the professional photos.... those are amazing as well!! We had to have them! Great birthday celebration for my husband!

My Float experience was flawless. All of the employees at float are kind and professional. My girlfriend bought us a sunrise flight for my birthday and despite her fear of heights, she enjoyed herself immensely. As soon as we touched down we were given champagne and the employees began cooking breakfast. It was a delicious meal of carne asada and eggs. I can't wait to do it again!
