Oh my goodness! How on earth did I miss this place?! I have walked or driven past here dozens of times. The food is fabulous, heavenly! We tried the pork goulash, very different than anything I've tried and superb! And the chicken salad sandwich was amazing! Never heard of apricot walnut bread which is outstanding! Oh my gosh! The split pea soup is the best I've had in Phoenix next to my own. The waitress was super friendly and happy to answer the many questions I asked.

The food was delicious. Loved eating outside as it was so quiet on this little nook like street the cafe is on. Soft music playing in the background and mild AZ temperature made for a great dinner. This was our first time going, but certainly not the last. Grade: A++

    - Absolutely delicious. - Small but comfortable. - Homey feel to it. - LOTS of food options! - Get the Polish Sample Platter! I was here 3 years ago (pre-pandemic) with friends and ever since then I have been wanting to come back, it's quite the travel distance for me but it was worth it. I got there near the end of a rainy day (11/9/2022) with only an hour left, I knew what I wanted (Polish Sample Platter - $25), placed the order, and hot delicious fresh food was in front of me in less than 10-15 minutes. It was so good, I also tried one of the drinks in the cooler Tymbark Apple Mint, not my favorite but it was worth trying! I took home some baklava dessert and it was great to share with family. I would recommend coming here!

This place feels like you are at a family member’s house for dinner. The owner was super friendly and kind! We loved chatting with her. The food was fabulous! We’ve been there before but this time we had the sampler, chicken schnitzel, bacon cheese sandwiches and potatoes bacon soup. Followed by mouse cake and carrot cake. Everything was amazing but the soup was out of this world! They have a nice patio if you prefer outdoor eating and a cozy indoor dining room. Don’t miss this little gem.

Wow! Just, Wow! My husband and I had dinner here tonight and it was superb. We ate out on the patio, as the weather was perfect for al fresco dining. I had the Polish Sampler Platter with a cup of mushroom soup, and my husband had the Hungarian Pork Goulash with sauerkraut slaw. The food was outstanding and the portions were large. The staff were attentive and charming. We will definitely be back!

This is one of our greatest new finds. My husband and I are always looking for a new local place to eat at. While walking around downtown Glendale, we happened upon this little gem. The food was so good that we can't wait to go back and try a few more dishes.

The food was very good! I would come here again, just for the sweet tea alone. It was so refreshing and just the right sweetness. The woman who took our order was very nice. Beautiful place to go!

Awesome food! The pierogies and golobkis were my favorite and they gave me some tips on making pierogies, and i was able to make some that were really good after going back home to Minnesota. Can't wait to move to Phoenix and go back!

Located in historical district of downtown Glendale. I found the place to be very charming, and the staff quite friendly. The food is delicious. Authentic Polish cuisine. I recommend trying the Polish platter so you get a nice diversity of tastes that way.

I can't say enough about how happy we are that we ate here! The food was SOOOOOOO good! Reminded me of my grandmother's cooking. The perogies, kielbasa, cabbage roll, hunter stew and borscht were delicious. Felt very cozy and welcoming and the owners were so friendly. Highly recommend

I was visiting my mother in Sun City. She is originally from Germany. The menu looked interesting so we gave it a try. We did take out: ordered many dishes so we could try as much as possible. It was all delicious. Really loved their Hunters stew, stuffed cabbage rolls and wow the dill pickle soup was wonderful. Everything was so good. Thanks and we will order again.

First time here and wow. The pickle soup was amazing!! The bread was heaven and the carrot cake was perfect! The owners are wonderful and a totally relaxed atmosphere. Try to bring cash as it is preferred but cards are accepted. Also take a few moments to walk around the area and look at the shops.

My first time there (04/09/22). The food was absolutely delicious! I had the kraut/mushroom pierogies and fresh green beans. I also took home apricot kolaczkis and the poppyseed pastry. Again, absolutely deeeelicious!!!! Margaret & Waldemar are fantastic owners, chefs & dinner companions. I am definitely returning......and probably soon! 😁🥘🍽🥗🍝👅😂

This is a great little polish restaurant in Glendale AZ Historic District. A house turned restaurant still run by original husband an wife team. Setting is great, food fantastic, staff friendly, and within walking distance of a bunch of other cool shops an stores. We had perogies which were excellent reminded me of my grandmas cooking. My kielbasa sandwich was excellent. Took my girlfriend there for a romantic little dinner an night on the town. It was a great way to start the date.

Such a beautiful restaurant and lovely staff. I got the sampler and it was one of the best plates I've purchased in the Valley. The Hunter's Stew complimented everything so well. I'm not sure if they make their own mustard or not, but it was VERY tasty. Not too tangy not too sweet.

It was to be our New Year's Eve celebratory meal, but sadly they were closed for vacation. Once we remembered we wanted to go there, it was three weeks later, it was definitely worth it. Husband and wife team; he's in the kitchen, she's out front. Per usual, we ordered everything we wanted to try. EVERYTHING WAS SUPERB. Pictured mango passionfruit tea drinks, kielbasa platter with sausage, bacon, onions, pickles. Toasted bread to perfection. Main course.. Hunter Stew two big pieces of sausage. Homemade pasta, sauerkraut, cabbage, also had Hungarian Pork Goulash with shredded and bigger chunks of pork, carrots, side of green beans (very unique flavor). NO we didn't forget dessert, chocolate mousse cake over the top also lemoncello cake. We got two coconut macaroon cookies dipped in dark chocolate. We were so satisfied with everything from the food to the conversation with owner and my girl. The spot is in the historic district in Glendale.

As a woman who lived in Poland for a year I can honestly say this place is amazing. They have food that's not always listed at other polish restaurants and the service was impeccable. In all honesty I would write more but I'm so full and happy that I'm going to update this when my brain is fully functional again.

The food was excellent! The cabbage wraps were flavorful and well made, the kielbasa was juicy and a great portion, the stew was excellent and the Pierogies were cooked to perfection! The service was unbeatable and the gal was very personable and helped make our lunch pleasurable! Thank you!??

  • 3/5 Jim S. 4 years ago on Google
When we arrived all of the tables inside were reserved along with a number of the tables outside. We felt the quantity of the kielbasa and perogi special was less than expected for the price, and when we were given the check we had been charged for an extra meal. The server was very pleasant. Not sure if I would hurry back.

European was great. Really attentive-- I came in a bit unprepared and gave pretty vague directions about wanting short hair that was lighter in weight and long bangs, and he just went with it and gave me a great cut. Thank you!
