Ward Lake is just beautiful. Learned to kayak on this lake, so did my 5 year old! The perfect lil camp spot.

Ward lake is amazing! Nice trail all the way around, easy for toddlers to walk. Several picnic tables and fire pit and a few are even covered. A couple of rope swings too. Nice big trees for the kids to climb or crawl through. The best natural playground for littles.

There is a lot of extra water at Ward Lake right now! It's not too cold, so it's a great place to go check out and get outside, just make sure you dress for the rain! We took our 3 boys out there and they had a blast, but we did all come back soaked!

Lush and gentle walk through the temperate rain forrest. So many possibilities: hiking, picnicking, camping, kayaking, even ice skating if it’s cold enough. A true community gem.

Great place for a walk on a more or less flat gravel path.
