Today was my second time stepping out of the usual and into the fabulous. The food and service are amazing and it’s more than worth your time to drive into Milwaukie if you live in Portland. Everything is crafted with care and attention to detail and the menu is broad enough to serve different tastes and yet stays focused on excellence. I can’t wait to devour everything here again soon!

We had brunch this morning at Oblation and we were greeted with great service and a truly delicious meal. I highly recommend the made to order beignets, the Brussels sprouts and the spring salad. My goodness. I was over the moon with my menu selections as was my daughter. As a private chef and experienced foodie, I can honestly say this is the best restaurant in Milwaukie. I am very much looking forward to my next dining experience here.

Found this place for brunch on a whim while in the area and OMG what a gem! Service? Super friendly. Food? Scrumptious. Ambiance? Upscale, yet relaxed and unassuming. Drinks? Exquisite. 5/5 will recommend and will be back! (Edit to add more pics on subsequent visits!)

Oh my goodness... I cannot rave enough about this adorable little hot spot. The food was incredible, so fresh! We cleaned our plates, the drinks were smooth and refreshing (im a huge fan of butterfly pea). The extra attention to detail and presentation will absolutely make me come back. 10 out of 10 this will become my new favorite place. Oh and the owner Romano is a ray of sunshine; humble and helpful. Such a sweetheart. Thank you for an awesome evening! Xo

Amazing location, amazing vibe, wonderful staff, wonderful food. Found easy street parking, walked in and seated straight away. The atmosphere was great with lovely live plants and easy listening music. Truly an enjoyable morning! Will definitely be back and likely making this a regular location for brunch-ing! Edit to add: have now been back multiple times and have enjoyed every meal every time!

Lovely as always! If you're looking for a place to feel welcome and enjoy a delicious meal and maybe a drink, this is the place to go. Romano and Sean goes above and beyond every time, along with the chefs. My passion fruit cocktail was TO DIE for! We had the steak and pork medallions; the most tender piece of pork I've had! What are YOU waiting for? Go in! have some brunch! enjoy some kettle chips (made in house!) and make some memories! 💕

What a gem!!! I have so many wonderful things to say about this place. This was our first time visiting this establishment. Let’s start with the service . The host was so kind and friendly. They allowed us to sit outside, even with the rain. We didn’t make an reservation. They were happy to accommodate. They have a cute outside seating area. Our server Kimberly was outstanding! We took her recommendation. She hit it on the head !! Beside amazing conversation & just having the best energy she checked on us many times even if we were her only table outside. The food hands down maybe the best brunch I have had . The Brussels were to die for, my huge pancake was perfect ! The potatoes were stunning ! The croissant sandwich with eggs, bacon, and caramelized onion was ridiculous. Also we struck up a conversation with the best humans !!! Thank you for being a gem in downtown Milwaukie !!! Make a reservation & tip your server well they deserve it and work hard for it !!! Can’t wait to come back !!

I was feeling pretty dour when I arrived. Depressed. Etc. Even with my dark cloud the brightness of this place blasted through. The food, great! Cauliflower bechamel. Delicious pesto. Fries that you can't quite say no to finishing... Thanks for bringing a bit of brightness to my day. You all need all the success you can get. And don't let your 2 1/2 late staff member and that sour red headed lady ruin your days.

Everything was amazing. The owner is so friendly he greeted us so warmly when we opened the door. We immediately said, "yep, we picked the right place." The food was amazing, portion sizes are perfect, and the pricing is very reasonable. The service was great. I definitely need to go back soon! The croissants are...just go get one.

The breakfast croissant was excellent! The service is very good! All the staff members are pleasant and helpful. The croissants or fresh today and divine. The decor was slightly gaudy and very French feeling.

I wish I could give it higher rating. This was amazing! The service was about the best I’ve experienced. The food was delicious and perfect for the season. And the drink was excellent. I cannot recommend this place more. I’ll absolutely be back again.

We stumbled upon this fabulous bistro! The owner saw us looking in, and came out to greet us! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was on point, as you can see! And, the service was great! We are excited to go back for brunch sometime!

Sunday Brunch with the ladies and Ovation nailed it! We were very well taken care of and decibel had a lovely time. The drinks were delicious and the did was amazing! The staff is wonderfully attentive and fun to interact with! Every time I'm here I feel valued as a customer and a person, such a wonderful combination to find right here in downtown Milwaukie! Bring your appetite and your smile, you'll need them both while enjoying your time at Ovation!!

The Triple B croissant is to die for and so is the (not pictured) pancake!!! ❤️❤️❤️ The staff is extremely friendly and made us feel right at home. We can definitely tell that they all really love this place and love serving our little community

My friend and I came for brunch and sat out on the shaded patio. Such a great atmosphere. Very cute and there are hanging flower baskets, flowers on the table and various plants along the side of the restaurant. Owner is very nice and came to greet us. Food was delicious! If you haven’t been here yet I would highly recommend, they buy their food local, so support local restaurants!

The food look good, service is super. But the water cups look dirty and I think they should change the silverware to a new set.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Just found this place this morning after a trip to the farmer market…and I must say…best find ever! Amazing breakfast and drinks for my daughter and I. I am already planning my next trip (hopefully within the next week) back. This amazing little spot is going to become a go to spot for us! Thank you for such a comfortable, warm, fun, and inviting space. Can’t wait till next time!

Romano is a genuine, outgoing and helpful owner/waiter/chef/etc who knows that a pleasant experience is one that you're likely to repeat. I chose to be seated outside among the "secret" garden of plants that he's created. While most outdoor eating areas are open to traffic, he's expertly trellised plants to give it a more intimate feeling. Not to mention that all the plants help keep the temperature of the concrete down by several degrees! I ordered the sliders and truffle fries and while it was a "heavy" dinner it couldn't have been more delicious. It's amazing when restaurants make their own patties to include some FLAVOR! Oh, and if you're ever in the area and need to smile, Romano will be sure to give you one if you ever pop in for a visit, whether that be from his outgoing personality, the delectable food or the excellent service!

This place is surprisingly really homie and cute! The atmosphere is amazing and the servers are really nice. We ordered the Ovation Burger and the Risotto D' Automne and both were delicious. It's a shame we didn't get the Truffle fries due to a miscommunication with the servers and kitchen but it's alright. For drinks we had the Apple Jackrabbit and it was sweet and enjoyable. We were billed incorrectly but the server was able to fix it and take care of it. I would definitely come back again!

The perfect brunch spot with friends! There's no wrong choice on this menu, but if you're looking for an out of body experience? You absolutely MUST have the French Toast. And be sure to get a hug from Romano because his energy will lighten your heart! We will definitely be back.

We stopped by for brunch and were greeted cheerfully and we felt right at home with friends. Ordered the rosemary gimlet, which was the perfect sweetness and hint of rosemary. Two egg sandwiches - one with bacon and one with portobello mushrooms - were delicious. A couple small requests took the wait staff quite a while to fill, but really this was a great experience and we'd go back for sure.

Really lovely atmosphere. Romano and Paige were both really friendly and provided great service. The food was delicious! I love the outdoor garden, and the inside is just as green with live plants. It is a really nice touch. I love having a great brunch option in Milwaukie, but I will also be back for happy hour- the wine list is impressive! And when the weather warms up, I love that they have dog friendly outdoor seating. I wish I had come here sooner!

The staff was awesome and very attentive.... made you feel special. The food and desserts were excellent, only concern was part of my wife's dish was a little cool, not hot. Other than that it was an excellent experience and I would like to return there soon.
