Too many inconsistencies in the "After Visit Summary". It made it look like they did a lot more for me than they actually have. It even said I saw a doctor that actually did NOT see me. What a mess! However, getting the appointment was easy and the nurse I saw was nice, though did not appear to be experienced, kept going back and forth to the doctor whom - I assume - was in another room. Yes, I don't believe this treatment by proxy works for me at all, although, as I said, they are - in general - nice and welcoming. Also, the one who put the info in the summary, sort of an assistant was rather impatient and, as I mentioned previously, ended up recording quite a few things that did not happen. So sad... I liked the people and the location, but I don't like at all how they work. It's like lip service instead of the real deal.

It was a good place to go till things went wrong. I spent six months being referred to specialists who couldn't help me. Dr. Khoury couldnt or wouldnt help me. In the end I got the care I needed else where.

I have to give this place a five because I know it can be challenging to work as a professional in any capacity, at free to low income clinics. I am someone who just moved into town, and I needed a physical and full check up for me to start my job. I paid $10 for my visit. I got a full physical, pap smear, breast exam, blood drawn, and I got a TB test. Not only that I found out that I qualified for State Insurance by me being technically unemployed. I walked out of Saban Clinic with the help of the patient intake ladies, knowing that I was being enrolled for state medical insurance, eye, and dental. This is a blessing because I haven't had Insurance in a few years. The previous states that I lived in, you have to be pregnant, or on some type of disability in order to get some type of medical insurance. Unless you want to pay three four hundred dollars for personal insurance which I couldn't afford. It was my first time having a male doctor examine me he was professional and moved quickly with the assistance of the nurse. I am a healthy person and I guess that's why he moved so quickly. He didn't really indulge me with questions, it's fine we can talk about the major stuff on my next visit like my blood work. Anywho, Dr. Khalili is his name. I recommend Saban if you are in need of great services with the care of a top notch clinic. Just keep in mind the hundreds of patients that they see in a day or week. Be patient when you go!

I didn't feel like the doctor listened to me at all. The first time I figured it wasn't a big deal but the second visit I saw a second doctor and he kinda brushed me off like he wasn't interested. I left with no more info than what I came in with, and $150 less in my bank account. Never going back here.

Only rating one star due to misinformation provided. This is not a community clinic, was informed they are no longer providing free services and now require patients to have insurance.

completely and utterly the worst place for health care. they dont care about anyone. patients and workers all walk around with out masks or masks hanging over their mouth only. The drs are all completely careless of your illness or concerns. they just want to see you and get rid you. they wont even prescribe regular meds when you need them. controlled and non controlled meds. worst place ever.

Horrible, Horrible, Just Depressing I went there to take care of my dental situation, they take my info then ask me to wait, then they took care of my infection at the end they wanted me to sign a bunch of documents to let them IMPLANT THE SAME TEETH BACK ON MY MOUTH!!! I am no doctor but I can tell that was not the right procedure. FYI Everyone beware!

Honestly the whole staff aside from my doctor, Dr. Khoury, is great. Unfortunately he is the one in control my health so all the niceness in the world doesn't offset his unprofessional behavior. This could get really long so I'll stick to the glaring issues and not all the snarky and rude things he's said and done. 3 appts ago I was misdiagnosed and given a Rx I didn't need. 2 appts ago he changed my in-office visit to a telephone visit. I made this last appt because a condition had worsened and due to him cancelling the last in-office visit he hadn't seen it. I showed him pics of when it was better and he dismissed them as blurry. Apparently photographic evidence annoyed him and he just gaslighted me and said that it looks better. I tried to explain to him that while it does look better than when he last saw me ages ago, it previously looked better than this and it's taken a turn for the worse. Apparently that was a concept he couldn't wrap his head around because he just kept repeating himself and told me to get enough vit C. He had the nerve to tell me "it's getting a little exhausting repeating myself". Yeah well it was exhausting for me too! You could have just answered the question instead of calling me a liar. And before you think I was trying to get some pain meds or something. I wasn't. I was simple trying to figure out why this wound won't heal. He wouldn't even tell me how to care for it. I asked if I should keep a bandage on it or leave it alone. He said "you could leave it alone....or you could put a bandage on it". He was absolutely no help at all. I'm contacting my insurance today to see about my options for a new PCP. And btw, the wound is still getting worse.

This was a waste of $135 and over an hour. The doctor did literally nothing, he did not refer me or did anything to try to speed up my current referrals and refused to do anything for me without insurance. Total lack of humanity and terrible patient care.

Working here in IT is NOT advised. The IT manager and CIO DO NOT pay their VENDORS such as the MSPs, RECRUITING firms or Incependent Contractors. The CIO is never at the office so things never get finished. The Manager of the IT staff Mario Rivera locks his office and you can't count on his input. Mario will text you as you're heading into the office to tell you to go to another site causing you to get stuck in LA traffic. You will get cheated on your hours due to the non-profit tries to do more at your expense. You will not get paid for miles using your personal vehicle. You will not get reimbursed for parking meters or private parking lots. No future or growth for your career. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ BAD PLACE to WORK FOR!!!

There is a nurse here named Ellen who was the most amazing health care practitioner. I was so appreciative of her. Anyone would be lucky to be her patient or work with her and learn from her wisdom and experience.

Horrible for people with low income or veterans. I was swindled into coming here for dental service when I signed up for mediCal. I was told there's a 40% discount based on a sliding scale. The dentist has unusual high prices so even with the discount you're not receiving any discount when compared to other offices. Disappointing and dishonest. SHAME!!!

A failed, "medicine lite" clinic which helps no one. Incompetent doctors supported by an illiterate staff of feckless high school dropouts. I was mutilated by the head of dentistry, a woman called Dr. Van.Avoid this place at all cost.

Wish I can give them zero star!!! The staff and doctor have no idea what they’re doing. You can never get a hold of them on the phone. Literally took me a whole day to get my prescription refilled with bouncing phone call between pharmacy and receptionists. Avoid Dr.Woo at all cost. And train your staff better!!!!!!!!!

very bad clinics, doctors dont kow anything at all! you not gonna get help there if you sick, just waist your time. they expect you to go there so many times when they dont do ANYTHING besides just in case to give you some painkillers or meds without knowing your true sickness.

I hate this Clinic. I give them less than a Star. Just a bunch of over paid Doctors they don't care about the patient at all. The doctor does what he want and is not listening or maybe he doesn't understand what you are explaining to him. I think that they treat people wrong just because they can't afford health care and that wrong this place need to be shut down asap. Maybe then they will understand what patient care means. How Sad😞

Incompetency at its finest. This clinic should be used as a case study of incompetency and what not to do as a healthcare provider. The lack of care and service from this clinic is a prime example of how atrocious our healthcare system is. It is astounding that this clinic can actually be in business. They canceled two appointments in a row with me. I waited almost two months for each of the appointments. The first appointment I had they canceled the day of the appointment. The second appointment I had they canceled two days before it. Both times they used the same excuse, that the doctor had a family emergency. Also, it takes them almost an hour to answer their phone. Will not be going back there.

This is the first dentist that I've ever truly liked. I saw Dr. today for a dental checkup and a consultation about having two caps done on my front teeth for cosmetic reasons. Dr. suggested a less aggressive course of action. I really feel like this practice is focused on doing whats best for the patient as opposed to doing what will make them the most money in the short term, which is not the feeling that I've gotten from other dentists during visits.

This place is fantastic! I have been coming here for years and get nothing but professional and efficient service from the lovely girls at the front desk to the medical assistants who weigh you in and take your blood pressure to the doctors. I'm usually in and out in less than 30 minutes upon arrival. That's because I show up on time unlike people who show up late and expect to still be seen even though they were disrespectful of people's valuable time. I've even had a teeth cleaning there and I hate going to the dentist but this guy was pain free. My appointment today, October 19, 2018 went smoothly as usual. In fact, when I entered the exam room a very young Dr. Mark was already sitting there eagerly waiting for me. He got right down to business. It's hard to impress me but this guy was beyond impressive and thorough. Rosie who drew a blood sample was sweet as can be. We chatted about coffee and I now owe her a cup of coffee. After the visit you get a complete printout of what necessary steps to take before your next visit along with an email reminder to visit my chart that details your medical history. I have no idea why there are so many negative comments on here other than negative people run around complaining about everyone and everything out of a false sense on entitlement. There's no pleasing some people but if you're a happy camper like moi, this place is a blessing with easy parking to boot. If I hit that $1 billion lotto tonight I will make a hefty donation.

Wow!! I’ve never felt so compelled to sing my praises for a dental office before: Very efficient, patient, kind, and gentle staff. Never at any moment during my experience did I feel pressured either... truly exceptional care. This place makes me want to go to the dentist more often! Dr. Jocelyn Ortega-Gonzales was so worth waiting to get an appointment with.

I did a phone interview and was told I’d have my medicine delivered in a day or two. A week and a half, several phone calls and messages left on the pharmacy phone line and nothing has been resolved. I’m disabled with no car, no way to get around (scooter or wheelchair) this is so frustrating.

Update 2: I changed it to 5 stars. Apparently on mondays they are very busy the next day they placed me in. Again i love my dentist there. They provide great service and seem veryw ell organized, but their call system is ridiculous, you cannot have a direct call into them, you have to call main directory, and then they will be the middle man talking to the actual center. How does that translate to the patient's experience? If you are waitlisted (which you will likely be since they are overbooked) and you receive a call, if you can't answer the call right when they call you, you can't reach them back right away, you call the main number, get put on hold, get a call back 2 hours later to hear your spot was given away to someone elsewhile you were waiting by your phone all that time with your toothpain. If someone cares here, this is really bad design, the result is an upset and frustrated patient. Again all good with the dentists and personnel working there, but the systen gets 0 stars.

Once known as L.A. Free Clinics is now the best clinic in Los Angeles! They have two other locations, one is on Hollywood Blvd and the other on Melrose. They have a wide range of services like dental, mental health services, acupuncture, shockwave therapy, eye care, nutrition education, and, of course, health care services and an in-house pharmacy! I highly recommend this place. They are here to help......really help! 🙂

Dr is literally never there, sub dr. orders me a referral to dr.oheb for an emergency referral broken leg. Tried to leave and schedule an appointment only to be told we can’t accept you on a Friday for no explained reason. And the clinic had no emergency appointments available. You’d figure they’d work together within their network to condense traffic. Instead they sent me here, there, with no regards for a broken leg. Now it’s the 5th day since I’ve been seen my leg is broken in half. And these people just want to play phone tag. Horrible, hopefully the families here never need help on the flip side. You might get what you give one day

The Saban Clinic I've relied on for many years, especially its Dental Director, Dr. Dastur, and her team. I had the honor of hosting her in a brief visit to my remote ranch, which she enjoyed via Zoom, in a consultation appointment. Their technology is current, their methods are impeccable, their care compares favorably with that which I'd received previously from many private practice professionals. They make me feel like their clinic exists only to serve me. I'd encourage all cost-conscious Southern Californians to take advantage of Saban's system which provides an example of how excellence might be achieved in the provision of economical health care services on a large scale. I'm grateful to and I pray for the generous benefactors of the Saban Clinic, their names listed on a plaque at the entrance.

Same as the others - free clinic you get exactly what you pay - ethics and poverty rarely flow always a obstacle. Sometimes you get lucky and it's all good Most of the time you wait until it's your turn - star is for the few who do care - unfortunately resources are limited.

Don't go there if you don't have to. For basic tests they're fine but anything else... They don't follow up or through at all. Like pulling teeth. And you'll almost never see the same dr twice. Having to go through and explain things over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

Finding people that are present and take a vested interest in you is rare. 9-5 jobs can be tough and it’s easy to turn robotic. Saban Clinic is the former. Ellen is my primary care physician and she shows genuine concern and tries to get to the route of the problem. I’m not always a huge fan of making phone calls so the website and text setup they have designed is easy and gives me peace of mind when issues inevitably arise. I recently had 2 acupuncture sessions for my back, the lady who performed the procedure was thorough and considerate. She communicated every step of the process putting me at ease. At a time when health insurance is hard to come by, I feel very lucky to me so well taken care of. Thank you!

Dealing with this clinic has been horrific! I came to the clinic a year ago , with chronic back pain, among other things. The clinic referred me to a spine surgeon, who after 1minute of looking at my questionnaire, said that I needed to see a rheumatologist. Instead, Sabin referred me to a physical therapist. When my back got so bad, that I finally pinched a nerve and was bed ridden, the Saban Clinic wouldn’t speak to me about immediate treatment. I asked for a Doctor to call in a prescription for prednisone, but that phone call, wouldn’t be available for several months. My immobilized status, meant nothing. Instead, I was told to go into costly emergency care. My Cardiologist was also perplexed as to why the Saban Clinic would require two weeks to transfer my records to his office. I almost had to miss an appointment with another specialist, because they never explained their policy, of withholding medical records for two weeks. You can never call Saban, without having to 1st schedule a call back, forcing you to wait by the phone, for up to the following day. I once made an appointment to discuss a test result , but the Doctor said he didn’t have time to get the results, that were faxed to him that day. He instead left the room and had his assistant tell me , that we could have that conversation in three months, if I wanted to make another appointment. The assistant showed me to the door and very passive aggressively, told me to have a nice day. It was so weird! The Doctor seemed fine and we seemed to have a good rapport. I guess he was just overwhelmed? That sums up most, but not all, of the substandard behavior, I received from Saban’ Doctors and staff. I found it to be very depressing. After one year, I find myself far more unhealthy and distrustful of the health care system. Hopefully, I’ll have a better experience with my new primary care doctor.

Wanted to share my experience at Saban Clinic, Beverly Blvd. I am a patient of Dr. Vuong's 'Happy Clinic'. My treatments with the Dr. include acupuncture monthly alternated with appointments for shock wave ultrasound therapy. I have osteoarthritis as well as onsets of sciatica that make daily living chores tiresome. Thanks to Dr. Vuong's therapy I see marked improvements. Her concern for me is of the utmost important. Thank you. Also a quick 'shout out' to the Dr's team which includes Dr. Tang, Ramses, Karina and others.

kind very decent for basic care and check ups. made me feel safe last year when i had a virtual appointment too. i saw reviews of other locations and i dont think it applies to this location keep up the good work the only issue i see is the lack of walkable healthy places in the area i feel like the taco bell prays on busy sick folks to get a quick bite i hope they chnage the food places around there soon

Getting an Appointment here takes an eternity. Other than that the doctors and nurses are super friendly and helpful. Calling sometimes is impossible but they have an online chat service that is faster

This clinic has the worse customer service. I hate it.

Recently, I visited Saban Community Clinic on Beverly for a general check up. While I was there, I also received my flu shot. The staff at the clinic was absolutely amazing and friendly. Overall, the environment was extremely welcoming. Dr. Wong was extremely helpful and kind. She addressed all of my questions and concerns in great detail. I am really happy that she is now my primary care doctor. From this point forward, I will continue scheduling more routine visits with her. I highly recommend Saban Community Clinic! You will not be disappointed.

This dental clinic was convenient, and I needed to catch up on some work. Dr Chiu and her assistant Kellyn were fantastic! (The young man at reception also really nice.) In out no problems at all. They made what’s not usually real fun almost a pleasure. Very clean, safe place. Highly recommend!

Not really a google review person but this review is long overdue. Dr Vuong is an exceptional doctor who truly cares about helping people. Has a wonderful bedside manner, is a great listener, and works hard to help others. It is evident Dr. Vuong continues to expand her knowledge and expertise. Suffered a bad injury a few years ago and be dealing with range of motion, chronic pain…issues. Her treatment, advice, acupuncture. shockwave therapy and other methods have given me relief and some quality of life back. I am super grateful to know Dr. Vuong and have her look after me therefore I felt the need to share

I visited Saban Community Clinic on Beverly when I brought my mother-in-law for her appointment with Dr. Vuong and Dr. Arshakyan. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. My mother-in-law does not speak English and is from Armenia. Dr. Arshakyan assisted her with translations and addressed all of our questions and concerns. I would also like to acknowledge Dr. Vuong and the excellent care she provided during our visit. Her treatments really helped my mother-in-law with her joint pain. We will definitely schedule more visits at Saban. Highly recommend this clinic!

Sub-clinical process and procedures. I imagine your successful treatment outcomes are abysmally low... I walked out mid-exam once the quality of care (or lack thereof) became clear.

This has become the worst medixal on the Westside of Los Angeles. There actly make u sit an extra hour bad referal service. The clinic has only a hand fill of African Americans working. Will be changing doctors for good.

This review has been in the making for a while. My name is Gus. I came to Saban 2 years ago with a mess from a life I lived. I was 230 lbs suffering from chronic pain from gunshot wounds that had happened over 20 years ago. Yes over 20 years living with pain... along with this pain I suffered from decades of PTSd from childhood trauma and years of being in juvenile halls, juvenile camps, county jail state prison federal detection and hospital for the life I had lived. The change had to start with me for my Doctors to help. My Doctors at Saban literally helped save my life. I am finally getting help for my mental health and therapy also. My choice to go to Saban is one that I will never regret. This was an amazing experience from the help I got at registering to making appointments. The wait is worth every moment to be able to hear from my family that they see a change. I came from choosing to lose my life to wanting to live. I have been given a second chance at life and as my journey with Saban continues with my health and mental health. I am forever grateful to all the people that have made this possible at Saban to name a few: Dr Korry, Dr Domb and my social worker and therapist Bridget. I didn't expect to see these results mentally or physically but I am not the same person I was yesterday and I definitely will not be the same after writing this for I am forever learning to be a better person, father, husband, and example. I am forever thankful to the Saban Clinic. Thank you again! Gus

The Worst place ever. I can’t believe any facility or provider would treat a Cancer patient like this. Just disgusting, no compassion, no desire at all to help patients. My father has stage 4 cancer and he came straight from chemo treatment to his appointment at saban & he was 10 minutes late and they refused to see him. I couldn’t believe, it I’m still in shock!!!! In all my years working at multiple doctors offices & hospitals I have never seen such disregard for patients. My father has been going to this clinic for about a year and has waited for this appointment for over a month. All he needed was a referral to UCLA to see a cancer specialist. I have personally received several referrals in my life and I know that it takes about five minutes to give a referral. they couldn’t afford to spare five minutes for a cancer patient to give him a referral that could possibly save his life. I’m not sure if it was the dr decision or the office manager’s decision to decline service knowing it takes about two weeks to a month to get an appointment at the clinic. Either way they’re in the wrong profession. you shouldn’t be working in healthcare if you have no compassion or interests to help people in need. I’m not just disappointed, I’m also disgusted, in disbelief & angry. I really hope you take this to heart and make some serious changes.

Woman at the reception - Black hair , medium length , believe she can speak Russian, could be wrong. She was extremely rude not only to me but others too. its not a customer service. When being 7 min late since been assisting with translation Saban to another patient. This receptionist said you way to late and we might not take you. Need to talk to management. Its not even 15 min! only 7. And she was raising voice. so very unpleasant experience! Doctor is really weak and dont know what they doing. I gave many different problems including rib pain after hitting ribs, and several more. basically only think what doctor said, ill check your results for pregnancy ( When i explained that there is no way its possible) and for electrolytes! Its not a doctor, its a joke! No proper explanation on what is going on with patient or what to do. And when I start asking questions she said - i need t go to another patient! Crazy! Never saw such a bad doctor in my life! in comparison when right after i went to chiropractor and got some help and proper instructions and explanation that this mini fracture in the ribs will be visible on MRI only. Doctor at Saban clinic said if you really want image - i can prescribe x-ray! which would not show anything. Get normal doctors here! Not this ...

This is my primary Care physician's office and since covid-19 they're very efficient and prompt as well as very thorough I would recommend it for anybody . Also attend the dentist here and have no complaints at all.

My first impression upon arrival, the staff is very courteous, social distance is practiced and it's very clean. The Dentist assistant and Dentist are attentive and polite. I was a little concerned with one of the intake receptionists - she was overly loud when asking patients questions and repeated their answers. Oh my, what happened to abiding to the HIPPA Law.

I had been sick for a couple of weeks when I made an appointment at Saban, and I was also seeking to establish primary care/dental and arrived early for my first appointment. A staff member asked if I was a new patient, I said yes and was instructed to have seat. I watched other patients come in and be helped by a second staff member...I asked if I should fill out new patient info and I was asked if I was there for medical or dental--I said medical and was told I needed to be upstairs. I go the the desk upstairs to check in and I'm told that "you are only 2 minutes late, but we are not seeing any late patients today." I explained that I was a new patient and had been told to have a seat downstairs before I asked to be directed what to do...the staff member said she would see if I could be seen. The waiting room was empty, still a nurse comes out, says she understands that I was downstairs and only 2 minutes past my appointment time, but they would not see me. I explained that I was actually sick and needed to see someone, but the nurse only offered to make another appointment for me. I declined and instead went to an urgent care. I feel I experienced patient neglect and even if I had actually been 2 minutes late, I feel it's still unacceptable that I was not seen by a doctor and given appropriate care. Saban prioritizes their arbitrary/rigid schedule over patients--even if it's only 2 minutes. Shameful.

The Dental staff is fantastic. My experience with the medical side has been hit & miss. Since I got assigned Dr Silva though, it's been much better.

So many disconnects at this company I’ve had four appointments never getting the help I needed. Angel Camacho was terrible, did not want to help at all.
