Truly amazing. You can always trust a kitchen when you can see the food being made. I didn’t know this place existed but now it’s one of my favorite spots in my hometown. I got “the vegetarian” Arepa and every bit of it was amazing. I didn’t think one would fill me up but I could hardly finish it - I’m still full writing this. I’m telling my whole family to go here. Tell your whole family to come here. I can’t wait to go back and try more.

First timer and really look forward to coming back more often. The food was delicious and staff was very friendly. We even had a complimentary mini arepa while waiting!

A+ Hole in the Wall straight to Venezuela! Firs time customer & it was Flavorful & Delicious, Hearty portions & priced very fairly. Made a big take out order & got plenty of friendly help & advice. Was told it would take 40min & the food was ready as said. Real food should take real time to make. Chef even gave me a little arepa to sample a new garlic sauce he was working on. Meant to take some pics of the food, but it was just that good. If you know, you know. Venezuelan Ribs: (A-) they were a little salty & overdone IMO, but others loved it & I’ve never been to Venezuela so maybe that’s how it is. Arepas: (A++)Had 3 different kinds & I do not believe you can go wrong with any of them. 💣💣💣 these things are massive & delicious! Do not order if you like bland food & tiny portions. Taquitos: (A-) imagine a fried mozzarella stick, but it’s wrapped in puff pastry instead of breadcrumbs & it’s Oaxaca cheese instead of Mozzarella. Super tasty without all the oil. Recommend getting extra green sauce to dip these in. Chaufa Rice: (A++) Fried rice flavor bomb with so much going on. Top it with some green sauce & you are taken to a different flavor dimension. Thank me later. Go here & eat their food. I loved it

Just walking in the door you can be excited by the smells of the fresh food being made, Wonderfully flavorful food options, extremely nice staff and attentive service. This place is family owned and operated and you can tell because everything we had was made in house and with love and purpose. This place is a must try!

Oh man that was great! Got the Pabellon with the avacado and egg option and lordy was that incredible. I love sauces and the spicey is super garlicky and delicious, used 3 of them on this beast alone. This is just great wholesome cooking I highly recommend, super friendly owner too!

1st time here. I got the Venezuelan Ribs. My wife one of the Arepas. We were both very happy. The staff was pleasant and informative. There was another couple there finishing they seemed very happy too.

HIDDEN GEM IN BRANFORD. At first, the place does not even look like a food place from the outside. I realized they had Venezuelan cuisine and decided to tried it with my wife. THE FOOD IS LOVELY and full of flavor. Portions are not large, but they are enough to fill you up and leave you satisfied. The lady who helped me (I think her name is Jennifer) was really nice and polite. Make you feel the food is made with love and they have passion for what they do.

The place is Little but the Food is good...

Saw the write-up on this place and decided to give it a try yesterday. We were very impressed with the owner's "tableside manner" as he helped to explain the different foods which we was unfamiliar with. After deciding our choices he came out with a few different items for us to try, gratis. The food was absolutely delicious and we will definitely be back here again. It is a refreshing change from the typical Mexican, Chinese and Italian fare you find in town.

This place is a hidden gem! It’s our new favorite! The owners are always accommodating when we’ve eaten there and encourage us to try their newest creation by giving us a sample and their hospitality is unmatched! The food is unbelievable! I haven’t had anything there that wasn’t incredibly delicious!!!

Amazing food!! I had the cachapa with pernil and it was excellent. It was so very flavorful!! Highly recommend!! My friend had the Latin Grill and loved it. The desserts were excellent!! I am going back again for sure.

First time going. I had wanted to try it for a while. I looked at the menu online before going. There were no prices but I figured it couldn’t be that bad based on the menu and being a tiny spot. It was good but the price was too high for an arepa. Plus $3 for a can of soda - that’s not cool. I left with an arepa and a can of soda for $24.

Completely over rated. I was disappointed by the fact that reviews are so good and it is not what I expected. The food is decent but nothing special. I ordered: Pelua Arepa, Tostones, Cachapa, Tequenos and Caracas Burger. Food is very dry with a lots of sauce. Meat is very hard to chew. Tostones are so hard you can barely bite them. Not a single thing that I tasted was above average.

Few places in the US Northeast manage to encapsulate the essence of Venezuelan food. Mosaico, with its low key and friendly atmosphere captures the simple pleasures of Venezuelan street food. The Arepas are well seasoned and toasted to perfection. All filling are tasty and plentiful. I visited with a group of 6. We tried the Arepas con Chicharron “Pork Rinds”, Arepas with shredded Chicken, the “Cachapas” and and a large assortment of empanadas. Wow! All food was delicious. We also enjoyed a typical rice-based drink “Chicha”. Its was creamy, sweetened to perfection with the right amount of cinnamon. This is a place you must visit if in the area, Its worth the trip from Stamford, Harford or Providence.

Called at 6pm to place an order and hostess told me they cant take orders because they close at 7. You cant order an hour prior to closing makes no sense.
