I wish all businesses were run as professionally and efficiently as Severna Park Eye Care. All of the staff members are friendly and welcoming. The exam process is thorough, and I love being able to see all of the data on the big screens in the exam room. This place is also ruthlessly clean - I have NEVER seen a doctor's office of any kind in such spotless shape (even before COVID). Highly recommended!

I have been wearing glasses and contacts my entire life, and Severna Park Eye Care has the best doctors I've ever see. I've been a patient since 2020 and have always had the most wonderful experiences with their entire staff. They are so kind and competent. I really loved my experience at Severna Park Eye Care. I had an appointment and had very little wait time. I saw Dr. Patel and she was wonderful. Had to get new glasses as well which was a very smooth experience from picking out frames to suggestions about lens shapes for my face to coatings on the lenses to help prevent some of the issues I have with my current glasses. Overall a great experience!

He identified in my son what may have been a very serious eye condition leading to possible blindness and referred us to the University of Maryland Ophthalmology Clinic with a multitude of facilities and a very experienced doctor. After a battery of tests and worried doctors and parents, the doctor figured out my son’s condition and that it’s not a serious one. The condition even eluded our prior ophthalmologist, but Dr. Brown picked up on it. Thanks to him, we now sleep peacefully at night and my son is fitted with proper eye wear and can see clearly! Thank you Dr. Brown and Severna Park Eye Care! I highly recommend their clinic!!

I absolutely LOVED this place! The place looked clean and neat, the people that helped me were professional and kind. Dr. Brown was the best part. He took his time with helping me, he explained everything about what was going on with my eyes, gave me clear instructions on how to move forward and even wrote these instructions down so I wouldn't forget. The eyeglass selection looked impressive, too! I have found my new "go-to" eye care place for my family and I for sure!

This place is awesome. Super friendly staff and clean atmosphere. Dr. Caldwell is amazing. He did a comprehensive exam and told me things that Visionworks never did. He was extremely thorough, explained things in detail, and gave a short and long term plan. As long as they are in business, he will be my eye care specialist. Highly recommended.

Great first impression for a first time experience. I like how they greeted me when I walked in. They were friendly, professional and provided great customer service. Even though it was Thanksgiving eve at 630pm I didn't feel rushed all my needs, concerns and questions were addressed. I was very pleased with the staff and the eye doctor (Dr. Roman) who assisted me with my dry eye concerns was patient, knowledgeable, and pleasant. I left there and for the first time in YEARS felt like I was seen and heard and that my concerns were understood. I was shown pictures of my eye which was great as I'm a visual person, that helped A LOT. I was given actions steps to help improve my eye issues. This doctor understood my concerns and did everything she could to help me understand what I can also do to help improve my dry eye issue and that was important to me. I would go back and I would recommend this office to my family and friends.

I just took my 7 year daughter for her first eye exam. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, every staff member was super friendly and helpful. We saw Dr.Brown and had Jamie help with our glasses selection and checkout. They both were amazing with my daughter and provided excellent service. I'm considering switching my primary eye care to their office for my next exam as well. I highly recommend their pediatric services.

I really love this place. I’ve been going here for nearly 5 1/2 years. Everyone is so nice so courteous and helpful. Being a mother of three boys who all wear glasses including me and my husband; glasses can be very pricey and the fact that they allow you to break down the payments helps out a lot too. I would really recommend anybody who need glasses to come to Severna Park Eye care.

The doctor was wonderful. Also Estee is a wonderful person. Very friendly and knowledgeable. She is the only one we like dealing with as we have had so much success and no issues with her.

Was able to book same day appointment. Location was large, clean and well lit. Check in was quick and easy. I was taken back in five minutes. The doctor was knowledgeable and affable. It's a bit further drive then my previous provider, but well worth it.

Staff were very helpful and courteous. I am handicapped and everyone seemed very comfortable with my husband wheeling me into place in all the rooms and testing. Doctor was very thorough and answered all my questions. She was the only physician I have seen in the past year (including 2 hospital stays, 2 surgeries and an ER event) that took my questions and health related concerns seriously, suggesting some ways to seek additional information and clarification. I really appreciated her time, interest and concern.

We have been going to this place for years and we love it. Their staff are all super helpful and efficient and the doctors are excellent. This past visit I saw Dr. Roman who I especially liked. The tech who helped me select my glasses was Allie and she was super helpful too. Great selection and great service.

I really appreciated Dr. Roman's approach. I never felt "less than", I felt like there was truly a level of mutual respect as humans (as opposed to the classic doctor-patient dichotomy that many have been exposed to by which a doctor belittles a patient simply because they're a patient). She provided ample time to explain my imaging and all of my options regarding my prescription, and didn't hesitate to provide deeper education when I started asking about certain aspects of my visit and my vision-related issues. The rest of the office staff I had the pleasure of meeting voiced all my options and every step of each process very clearly. Overall, the whole team was extremely friendly, courteous, very professional, and answered every question I had (and if they couldn't answer it they said so and then got the answer from another team member), leaving no stones unturned.

This was my first visit to SPEC. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Dr. Patel was very informative and patient. I appreciate being able to browse for frames without having someone follow me around and tell me what they think. I wasn’t rushed in any way. Also the selection of frames is amazing! It’s hard to believe you wouldn’t be able to find something you liked.

Dr. Brown is excellent. Replaced the irreplaceable Dr Franklin very ably. Jamie (tech/salesperson)was a pleasure to deal with. Kind, helpful, professional and amiable. Lots of experience. We have been coming to this location for several years, over a number of name changes however one thing that hasn’t changed is our experience. Customer service is always top notch, and they are always respectful and mindful of their patients time which I appreciate. One person in particular who we have seen now multiple times, strictly by chance, is Ally. She is super patient, honest, and helpful in assisting us during our frame selection! She’s always great!

Undeniably best customer service I've received via optometry and related staff. I purchased eyeglasses that were indeed expensive due to my particular eyesight. When I put on the newly purchased eyeglasses the visual field of acuity was not correct, as my vision was blurred in the progressive lenses. The optometrist, on the spot, immediately redid my eye testing and admitted his error in the previous testing. That admission in itself was, to me, shocking, but well received...With no fuss or hassle, I received new eyeglasses two weeks later and now have visual acuity equal to 20/20. Best experience I've had with purchasing eyeglasses in 30+ years.

I had an appointment and only had to wait about 5 minutes. They made me feel very comfortable and wanted to know if I had any questions or concerns. I thought they were very polite, courteous and inviting. I thought the exam was very thorough and felt much better after I left than I did when I went in. As to say I was way more at ease and relaxed about my condition.

Had a wonderful experience getting an eye exam. I really don’t like my eyes being messed with and I’m very nervous during eye exams. Everyone was wonderful, from the Optician to my Dr. They explained everything that was going to be done and was very patient. Dr Jane Council is the best, I wouldn’t see an eye Dr for years because of not being comfortable during an exam but Severna Park Eye Care made it easy. Thank you.

I had an amazing experience seeing Dr. Roman! She took her time with my examination and answering all of my varied questions. The exam fee was reasonable and I got so much more out of this exam than at my last ophthalmologist! I also had a great experience trying out contact lenses with the woman who was very friendly and enjoyable to chat with. All around a great experience, which is saying something as someone who works in the medical field, and I will definitely be back!

Great experience! Everyone was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Alysa was VERY helpful in helping me select the right pair of glasses. I’ve never had to wear them before, this was my first time. She walked me around the store and had me try on several pairs until we narrowed it down to one. If you need glasses, this is the place.

Service was great (as always). They were able to get me in for an appointment the same day I called and doctor diagnosed problem and prescribed medication for my eye condition which I had in my hands less than an hour after the appointment. My eyes are already starting to feel better.

Severna Park Eye Care (formerly Peepers) has been my go to for eye care for years. Having no appointment, I stopped in recently to have my glasses adjusted. I asked for my favorite tech, Kylea Smith who adjusted my glasses and sent me on my way. The staff is professional. The office is clean and they observe COVID protocols. I went in for motorcycle glasses and when I got there everyone was so nice! All were wearing masks and there was no wait! Immediately. Kati Kiefler and Jamie B came over to help me. Amazing customer service. Peepers has come through for me twice already. On New Year's Eve (2020) I had a bit of an emergency as the arm of my father's glasses broke off and he needs his glasses to see all the time. I took the broken frames to Peepers and asked if they could help me fix them. The ladies standing outside in the cold checking-in customers went above and beyond and found a replacement arm, installed it and send me on my way. I will keep coming back as a very happy customer. I highly recommend this business and sing their praises, due to their expert knowledge, amazing customer service and willingness to go above and beyond.

She was informative, made me feel at ease and was a very good Optometrist that explained the pictures that were taken and the health of my eyes. We love Dr. Roman for our eye exams, but we always ask for Lauren when it’s time to pick out new glasses. She goes way beyond what is necessary to make sure we are pleased with the frames, as well as the lenses. It takes me forever to make a decision on which frames to buy and Lauren is extremely patient, and offers suggestions to help me decide, often checking online and ordering different frames that she thinks I would like. Lauren is the best and a real asset to the company. We always leave in a good mood after working with Lauren.
