Proscapes has been the best lawn service I've ever worked with. I hired them to help prepare my backyard for seeding by removing all the pinestaw and scalping the yard. From hire to job completion I had excellent communication through calls and texts. The day of the job the showed up on time with a large crew and many machines. They worked until the job was done even though it was late on a Friday. They even game me advice on how to seed properly and genuinely cared about helping to get my yard up to par. It's so nice to have found a trustworthy place in Athens for all my lawncare needs. Thank you!

Rick and his team at Proscapes were awesome. We sought a few quotes for a dry creek bed to resolve a drainage issue and before other companies had even called us back, Rick gave us a quote and a starting date. He kept us informed daily on progress which was greatly appreciated although we were not on a strict timeline. We wanted to add additional sod that we hadn’t discussed and Rick was happy to add this on at the end in a timely manner. He had suggestions for the yard, but didn’t push us to do more than we wanted at the time. We plan to use Proscapes in the future to continue our landscaping.

Proscapes was recommended to us for lawn service when we first arrived in Athens in May, 2017. After a year of service, I can recommend them highly to anyone desiring good care of the lawn and property. They are prompt, careful, and show real concern about the property. We were recently out of town when a tree fell on our property. Ricky of Proscapes checked to see that no damage had been caused by the fallen tree to either the house or the heat pump. He then proceeded to cut up the tree and take it all away. This was all without my prompting or even my knowledge. Only afterwards did Ricky send me a picture and an e-mail telling me what happened. Proscapes and Ricky are pro-active in the most positive ways, and we appreciate that very much. Not only do they take care of the lawn and leaves during the spring, summer and fall, but they also ensure that the house roof is kept free of debris, blowing off leaves and pine needles on a weekly basis if needed. My wife and I are big, big fans of Ricky and Proscapes.

We had Rick and his crew do landscaping for our new construction. They added dirt, leveled and installed sod. Added a rock flower bed in front of our house and bordered around the whole house with rock. They also installed an irrigation system and a water fountain for us and at least 40 shrubs and 3 trees. The end result came out very beautiful and amazing. I couldn’t be happier and more proud of my whole yard. Throughout the whole process Rick always kept really good communication with us and he and his crew were great to work with!!!

We've only had one service so far, and I couldn't be happier with the job that was done or the customer service. I've always done my own landscaping work (and am pretty particular because of it), but started finding less time between work, being a parent to a one-year-old and being out of town more and more. I contacted ProScapes for an estimate on regular lawn maintenance and ask questions about other projects, and Rick came out later that day to survey the property and provide a quote. Once I decided to pull the trigger they were out there the next day for the initial service. Rick even contacted me later that day with a follow up to make sure I was satisfied. After proscapes of Greer, SC aligned 4 sprinkler nozzles to water for peoples backyards, a small patch of common area, and the road. I was not happy. The irrigation system is for common areas only in this development. It makes me wonder how many other sprinkler heads in this development are out of alignment. They are also paid for work all year long, even when they do not work during the winter when the grass is dormant . Fees for this company are outrageous. If you wonder why some of your grass is dying and trees are dying it’s because they have turned off the levers in the ground floor for The sprinkler system. Oh yes, this means they don’t have to mow as much.😳

I have a new construction home and when I bought it, they builder laid seed in the back yard. A year later, it still didn’t take and the back yard was a disaster. Proscapes was very responsive when I called, unlike the five other landscaping companies I called to come out and give me a quote. They were thorough in giving me all my options and weighed the pros and cons of each. In less than two weeks since my initial contact with the company, my backyard is complete and looks great! Will definitely be using them again for my future landscaping efforts!

My back yard (small) has a lovely tree that is one of my favorite things. It covers most of my back yard with shade. Most of my grass was gone and the soil eroding....that is when I contacted Mr. Cencula. His approach to correcting the problem worked very well. I just started recently with ProScapes on a biweekly maintenance basis. They have performed extremely well and at the times agreed upon. Today they did special work, installing pine straw, taking down a tree, etc. and we are very pleased with the results.

I called on Wednesday right when they were closing 😬 and he came out and gave me an estimate right away, grass was cut and limbs removed by Friday! The yard looks great. They came and did it while I was at work so I got to come home to a beautiful yard, they lifted a weight off my shoulders. Totally worth it. Awesome customer service.

They did my front yard one time for reasonable fees then when I asked about year round lawn maintenance they doubled the price! Use someone else, as this is not cheaper. They say will meet in person but don’t.

Rick came out the day I called for an estimate. He recommended scraping the yard and starting from scratch because it was so full of weeds and clover. His crew worked quickly and cleaned up before they left. He suggested seeding and tending it myself to save money. Rick even drove by unprompted to check on the progress. I've attached pictures of them scraping it, a few weeks later when it was growing and covered with wheat straw, and then after the first mow. They did a great job!

Rick and his team at ProScapes have turned a once unsightly lot into a beautifully cared for yard that we are proud to look at.
