Bolton boat tours and Captain Tim were absolutely amazing! We celebrated my sister’s bachelorette with 5 girls and a 3 hour charter, and it could not have been better. Captain Tim was so personable and kind and helped us make this day fantastic! Would highly recommend to anyone.

110% courteous, professional and an immaculately kept boat. Managed to fit in a little something for everyone for a group ranging in age from 70s to 18 months. Was infinitely more enjoyable and relaxing to have a professional handling the driving so we could focus on having fun together. Definitely worth it over a DIY boat rental.

Our family went on a fishing tour with Captain Tim during Columbus day weekend. Captain Tim greeted us early, and was friendly and accommodating. Myself, my wife, and 2 teens boarded the boat while Tim made sure we knew what to do for successful (bass) fishing. During the boat ride Tim told us about the history and facts of Lake George. He quizzed our teens on science and local ecology. We also caught fish and had a fantastic time. The views were worth the ride alone, besides the fish and the guided tour. Our whole family rated this 5 stars, and we are going to book another trip when we return next fall. ***Just returned from our 2020 trip with Capt Tim. Great time had by all. Excellent service and beautiful scenery. Thank you again Tim for a great trip. See you next year.

Probably one of the best experiences I've had while visiting lake george! Tim, who was our captain, went above and beyond to make our two hour tour worthwhile. He was easy-going and nice to everyone. Both the rock jumping in the cove and the tubing made the tour something to remember. Highly recommend using this family-run boat tour company as opposed to the ones near the village and Glens falls.

We took a boat tour w my girls, and captain Tim was fantastic. He is very knowledgeable about the lake and gave us a lot of history about the lake and surrounding areas. I would highly recommend trying them out if you're in the area. Definitely a 5 star experience even though the weather wasn’t the greatest at the time, we still managed to really enjoy the couple of hrs on the water. We’ll be back. Txs again.

Absolutely fantastic! Captain Tim took us out for a two hour tour of the lake George and we had a wonderful day! He was very courteous, responsible, and knowledgeable of Lake George. We were going to rent a boat and then decided to go to Bolton boat tours and it was the best decision we made all week! Highly recommend him and his business for your next tour on the lake.

My sister and I went out with Captain Ted and we had a wonderful time. He was very nice and knowledgeable of the area. We did sightseeing, swimming, tubing and cliff jumping. We had a blast! He even was nice enough to take some photos for us when we did the cliff jumping. I would definitely recommend using this company! They are well worth the cost. When we come up next year with some friends we will use them again.

Great place to rent a boat for a tour..our guide was excellent..super friendly and spent a lot of time explaining everything. He was super safe and made sure we all had a great time. A bit pricey but definitely worth it. We did a 4 hour cruise, which included tubing, swimming, and cliff diving.

It has become an annual event, such awesome people with great knowledge of the lake!

Did not come in with high expectations and was completely blown away. The captain/owner Tim was a fantastic guide with lots of local knowledge and was very accommodating of our needs. Best experience by far was the tubing.

This was such a treat! We took a two hour tour with Captain Ted and it did not disappoint...and I had three teenagers with me! Tubing, cliff jumping, swimming, and learning about the area all in two hours.

Wonderful experience! Captain Tim took us out for a two hour tour of the lake George at 7am and it was calm and Serene.. We were planning to rent a boat but found Bolton tours and it was the best decision we made. It took our trip to another level. We loved it and definitely coming back here again on our next visit.

Bolton boat tours indeed deserve their five stars at best. I had a bit of a delay for family reasons and could not make the trip Sunday. I had no way of canceling online due to the unfortunate timing so Mary called me and I explained to her my situation.. she was so sweet and understanding and accommodated me. Her customer service is amazing and I’m looking forward to the upcoming boat tour with them. Totally worth the time to book with them and rest assured knowing I can still attend if all goes well without any ramifications! One thing don’t take advantage of any company… if you cannot make the tour give notice as best to your ability and they will accommodate.. very nice company cannot wait to be out there on the water soon!

Used Bolton Boat Tours for the first time in 2021, & it was by far our favorite activity for the week. So much so that it was the first thing we booked for this year’s visit, & it will be again next year. Last year we did 3 hours. This year we initially booked 4 hrs, & scheduled another 3-hr tour before the week was over. Tim was our guide each time, & we can’t say enough about him. Tim is knowledgeable, easy-going, fun…makes it easy to relax & feel at ease right away so you get the most out of your trip. He also has a great way with young kids. We went cruising, tubing, cliff jumping, & swimming. Between the beauty of the lake, islands, & mountains, and such a personable “captain,” I was perfectly content just riding around in the boat, but there is plenty of fun to be had for all ages, not to mention the wealth of knowledge about the area that Tim shares during the ride. This should be on your must-do list for sure!

Our group of 7 (4 adults & 3 kids 10 - 5) had a fantastic two hours with Captain Ted! We wanted to go "tubing" and fishing and he gave everyone the time and attention they needed. All had a great time. Time with Captain Ted will definitely be a part of our next visit to Lake George. Can't say enough about Mary who handles the phones. We needed to change our appointment at the last minute and she was incredibly understanding and helpful. All said, this was a great time.

Captain Tim is a rockstar! Our two hour tour of the lake exceeded our expectations. He showed us the sites and had great knowledge of everything Lake George. We will be booking another tour next time we come to the lake.

Used captain Tom 2 years ago and had such a great experience we came back again this year. I’ve owned boats myself and it’s just nice sometimes to sit back, not have to worry about playing captain nevermind Tim knows the spots to swim and cliff jump. Would highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I recently took a 3- hour tour with captain Tim. The tour was great and we had a lot fun enjoying the lake. From the moment we drove up to when we left the dock, we we treated like VIP's! Very thoughtful and responsive family runs this tour. Capt. Ted is a gem. He loves to share all sorts or fun facts about the lake. Very leisurely paced. We got to do what we wanted. Extremely relaxing day on the lake!

From the booking to the conclusion of our trip, Bolton Boat Tours was exceptional. Their booking process was easy and left no room for many questions as their confirmation and wavers are emailed to you right away and the day before your tour, you're sent the details of your arrival and all precautions for COVID-19 are outlined. Captain Tim was fantastic! He knew the area and gave fun tips, facts and history along the way. It made for a wonderful 40th birthday gift for my husband. The boat was clean, and all safety briefings and precautions were provided. We were a small group of 3, so we had tons of space to onboard. We took full advantage of everything we could do, from tubing, clif jumping and just enjoying the fantastic views of Lake George. We will be sure to book with them again for our trip next year.

Bolton Boat tours and water sports was an incredible experience. It was our first time in Lake George, and Mary made sure she kept communication with me , I was able to text or call ( which I did ) , she told me what to bring and etc. Captain Tim was amazing , my 3 boys thought he was super cool . He directed them where to jump off the cliff , and instructed them on how to keep safe . While watching the boys enjoy their jumping , he made sure to entertain my 4 year on the boat by telling her all the types of animals that lived there , and also educated my husband and I on the Beautiful Lake George . Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this boat tour and also return .

Amazing experience both for adults and children. While looking for things to do we while we were in lake George we found Bolton tour boat. I've been coming to Bolton Landing, LG for 20 years, so I know the area and the lake pretty well. I started bringing my parents up to share my home away from home with them. We went out with Captain Ted a couple years ago and had a fantastic experience on the water, boating, just taking it all in, site seeing from the water, etc. This year, we went out with Captain Tim, a trip down memory lane for me and some new experiences for my parents. Highly recommend Bolton Boat Tours if you are a BL/LG frequent visitor or visiting for the first time. What a way to see all of the splendor of the mountains and lake in all her magesty! I would go again!! And again 😊 Captain Ted and Tim are great and very knowledgable.

We had a party of 9; 3 adults and 6 children. Captain Tim created the day on the water based upon our needs and wants for the children and he made it a truly memorable experience for all of them. He took them to a beautiful spot of the lake where they could cliff jump and tubing several times which they could not get enough of. Highly recommend! We will come back again!

Captain Ted and Tim really made our trip memorable on in Lake George. We were group of 15 people and they accommodated us in 2 nice boats. Highlight of our multi generation family trip to Lake George! Ages 15-78! We did the 3 hour trip. Tubing, rock jumping, swimming. Gorgeous views!! Ted captained the boat for us parents and Gma, and his son Tim captained the boat for the 8 kids. Highly recommend this trip and this business. Great communication, on time, safety first, so fun for the kids and oldsters alike!
