This place deserves every fantastic review it has ever had. I grew up in the restaurant industry and this is easily some of the best food I have ever had. Hands down the best pork enchiladas I've ever had. The Flan was the biggest surprise! I noticed after the first bite that it had the tiniest hint of lemon which elevated the taste to a level beyond every flan I've ever had! After I asked, I learned they spinkle on lemon zest to help with the egg taste that every flan has and it was brilliant and tasted brilliant. This is truly a place that deserves far more buisness than it gets! If you're on the fence on going, don't be! You won't regret it!!

Best Cuban food my wife and I have ever had. We always visit any time we’re in Florida. Large portions, made fresh, and friendly service. Being family owned, the grandmother usually serves us but today we had the pleasure to have her grandson serve us. You won’t be disappointed. My wife and I were shopping at Fluff’s and I got bored so wandered over to Barracudas. I was really impressed with the service and the food! Everything was fresh and appropriately priced. It’s a small family ran mom and pop store. We had The Best Cuban Sandwich, that’s what it’s called on the menu and it lived up to the claim! I also had cortadito (espresso) and tres leches cake! My wife joined me after I sent her pictures of the Cuban Sandwich and she loved it too! A lady came in and was talking about how good the chocolate tres leches cake is so we will try it next time! One note about the service, the server talked about his grandpa making the desserts and when we got what we couldn’t eat to go, he included a side of the mustard that they make in store! I thought this was above and beyond. Two of us ate and had leftovers for $24.

We enjoy Cuban good and really enjoyed the service and taste of our dinner here. It is our first time visiting St Petersburg and we used Google Maps to find a high rated place. All the reviews were spot on. We were greeted straight away, Maria our waitress helped answer our questions and was attentive. We ordered the mojo pork and mojo chicken dinner. The chef could be seen making things fresh while we ate our salads. Then the dishes came out, steaming hot. The portion size is generous and if you are hungry this satifies. We enjoyed the dinners very much, we also got fries that came out piping hot. This is by far one of the best Cuban places we have visited.

If you are looking for a damn good Cuban Sandwich, you are looking at the right place. We ordered the Cuban & Ruben. Both were delicious and the portions are huge! Rice and beans are a must for your side dish. Great place and great prices!

Excellent local restaurant, great bread, Manny’s famous potato salad a topping on the greek salad was excellent, Cuban sandwich, tres tacos and mojo platter were also enjoyed at the table!

They have the best Reuben ever and the potato salad is so flavorful and delicious. I’ve been eating at Barracuda for years and they never disappoint. Not only is the food consistently excellent, the owners are so kind and hardworking. Skip the big corporate chains and support this family-owned business, you won’t regret it.

Tucked into Oxford Square plaza off Seminole Boulevard is the best priced, most awesomely portioned, DELICIOUS Caribbean-Mexican fusion dining experience you can find in Seminole! Maria and Manny also owned Barracuda on St. Pete Beach (sold in April '20) and Maria's in Seminole Mall in the 1990's so they're no strangers to pleasing the palate. And this family is SO nice. Support this family owned business and tackle your hunger at Barracuda Deli Cafe!

What a great experience we had! The waitress was so polite and she knew everything on the menu, made sure we had everything we wanted. Checked up on us multiple times and brought extra salsa without us having to ask her. Our food came out within minutes after we ordered it! Great Cuban sandwich, and the enchiladas entree was amazing! This was the best food and service we’ve had in awhile! We’re visiting from NC, definitely will come to this restaurant a few more times before we leave Florida.

A delightful find tucked into the corner of the neighborhood. The food is flavorful and filling. They were even able to accommodate my dates onion allergy ( which is impressive ). I highly recommend the Mojo pork. Will absolutely be back when I am in the area.

The folks at Fluff Animal Rescue a few doors down recommended Barracuda for lunch. They weren't kidding when they said it was good! We had delicious Cuban cuisine paired with friendly service and great coffee. The food is less salty than what you find at many other Cuban restaurants which let's the real flavors shine through. I will be returning soon!

My husband & I just came from there and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. He had their fantastic Reuben and I had the nachos. Frosty cold beers, too. Lovely to see Manny & Maria again! We are return customers here, because the food is so good you will want to come back again to try more selections on their menu. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. The potato salad is the *best* I've ever had! Delicious sandwiches; they know how to make a Reuben right. Excellent Cubans. Mojo Pork Heaven. Beer on tap. You'll be delighted with the Oh My Nachos!!! We love the very nice couple who run this place. ♡ And the atmosphere is so nice and comfortable :-) You'll likely be very full and satisfied, so take some dessert home with you. My husband loves the flan. I chose their lovely Piña Colada cake. I can't wait to get there earlier and try breakfast and real coffee...
