    Worked with Chris and he was great the whole time. I was looking into buying a tacoma. when I was finally able to get a quote, I told him I would not be able to afford that. The whole time we were on the phone, his manager (I'm guessing Paula) was in his ear telling him what to say. Very unprofessional on her part. Let the guy work, no need to be telling him what to say, getting him nervous. I asked about leasing options but they didn't seem interested in me leasing a vehicle as they did not even give me a quote for a lease option. Guess only option at Phil long is to Finance. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

    We worked with Darby for a year through the pandemic on trying to find me a 4-Runner. I was getting sad thinking I wasn’t going to get one for a long time because Toyota had stopped making them for awhile and I didn’t want a used one unless it was a good deal! We stopped by one day after hours and they had one on the lot! It was used and saw a little wear and tear on the bumper and thought we could get it cheaper but they wouldn’t go lower to what we wanted. Then to our surprise one was coming from Japan! We got a call right away! Deposit was sent to lock it in and a month later I had my dream 4-Runner! Darby did an amazing job with us and didn’t hide no details on anything. She was very truthful. Some sales people can be a bit to handle and stress you out! Everyone at Phil Long in Trinidad have been amazing to us every time we go in for services on my car we are always welcomed! I absolutely love my 2022 4-Runner 4x4 Trail Lunar Rock color! I get so many compliments on it! Thank you Darby for helping us and making this experience the best on my buying a new vehicle especially coming in from New Mexico! We have recommend Phil Long Toyota of Trinidad to everyone in New Mexico that is looking for a Toyota!!

    On driving from Texas to Colorado, we experienced trouble with our cruise control on our Toyota truck. After spending the night in Trinidad, we drove over to Phil Long Toyota where we were met by Scott Fields who checked our system message and solved our problem with it in just a few moments, sending us on our way, not only safely, but with several good tips about mountain driving. Thanks a lot, Scott!

    Best Dealership General Manager I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with!!! She was empathetic, compassionate, & exceeded ALL expectations! Lost a vehicle transmission driving Raton Pass. Coasted into Trinidad, CO., into Phil Long Toyota. It was approximately 3:30pm, but service dept folks were top notch & worked us into their already fully booked daily schedule. Service dept. diagnosed/confirmed faulty transmission. GM overheard the situation & intervened, discussing available transportation options with us. We purchased a new-to-us car to continue our vacation! Fair deal, fair price, over and above customer service!!! We would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from Phil Long Toyota of Trinidad, CO., especially knowing the admirable good character of the current general manager of this dealership (2023)! Outstanding Job!!! 💯%

    I NEVER thought I could ever have a new car.I was searching the internet for a used car and Darby Shier of Phil Long Toyota in Trinidad called me. As I explained my situation I didn't want her wasting her time. She convinced me to let her "check a few things". Less than 7 hours later she called me to say congratulations. Darby has been incredibly helpful. Although we have not yet met in person she's professional, thorough, compassionate, and an excellent asset to your team. I can't wait to meet Darby and thank her personally for all she's doing for me. I'll continue with Phil Long Toyota of Trinidad and hope Darby is there for me each step of the way.

    Our experience was very positive. Davena was very attentive to our needs. She kept in contact with us and made sure all of our questions were answered. The management team was a pleasure to work with as well. Great people, great service.

    The people - and I mean ALL the people - that my daughter and I met here are outstandingly kind, courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and generous! We were on a road trip from CO to CA and had warning lights appear unexpectedly. We called Phil Long Toyota and were offered help by the service department. They kept us informed - and Scott spent some time keeping us company - while they analyzed and then resolved our problem. They sent us back on our way with good advice and no charge for their superior service. We were also encouraged to call them if anything else occurred as they would help provide us with trustworthy resources. Phil Long Toyota is THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! BTW, if we’re ever in that part of Colorado again, we will stop to say hello and thank them again.

    First time at this dealership! I walked into service and Elissa greets me. She is so nice and professional! She listened to my needs and provide excellent service! I loved the repair video, 1st class! Elissa also hooked us up with a courtesy driver Devian. She was so sweet! She gave us a ride to a restaurant and came back to pick us up! We also met Lisa, 1st day on the job selling cars. I know she will do well! I hope she is there, when I get ready to buy a Camry. She had Darby talk to us about hybrids. She was really nice too and very knowledgeable! I love my new dealership! They definitely know how to hire the right people! And a thank you card on the dash...Wow! I would have given you a 10, but they only allow 5 stars

    Recently, I was working with Chris Froetch who is great with customer service. He was in constant communication via phone and email, trying to help me with my situation. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for Paula. She was snotty and rude. After I explained my situation to her, she acted like the only vehicles they had on the lot were the extremely expensive ones; even though the website shows different. She in no way wanted to help me purchase a vehicle from their dealership. She knew my situation and still tried to sell me a vehicle way out of my price range. I've worked at the department of motor vehicles for years and have experience with title work. I've seen folks with low credit, bad credit, no money down, etc receive a vehicle they are able to afford. I've also seen folks trade in vehicles with a negative equity. It's unfortunate that if you don't have thousands of dollars to spend, they don't even want to entertain the idea of helping someone out. Thanks Chris for being great. I can't say the same for your colleagues.

    Best place to get a car!! Went in just to look around and left in a Camry with easy payments and the best milage one could ask for on a Toyota! Very friendly staff and also very very fast.. was in and out of the dealership in 2 hours! Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

    Over all it was a good experience. Initially I was concerned about the interest rate offered and was going to contact own bank to finance through them but they called me back the next working day because another bank contacted them with a more reasonable interest rate and was able to lower my payment by almost $200. Great team to work with. I give a shout out to Paula, Darby and Chris

    During the start of a long road trip from CO to CA, my 4Runner suddenly had both vsc lights and the check engine light come on after filling up with gas. I took the car in with about 20 minutes notice and received the BEST service. The guys spent 3 hours giving the car a through inspection, with my problem being a bad tank of gas. Even though they spent time and energy on my car, I wasn’t even charged. The guys also gave me great warnings on what to expect as my car went through the tank. I’ve never received such kindness or amazing service as I did here. I’d recommend Trinidad Toyota to everyone! Thank you again!

    I was on a camping trip traveling thru Denver on my way to the Grand Canyon. I had to spend the night at a border town in New Mexico because my car was acting up. Woke up early the next day and called this place. Spoke with Mitch who said come on in. They fixed my car in about 4 hours and took good care of me! I was able to be on my way that afternoon to my next destination and I thank the crew who worked on my car. Thank you to Mitch as well for being helpful and taking me in on last minute.

    I had a great experience ordering a custom-built 2022 Corolla Cross XLE through Phil Long Toyota. While waiting for the vehicle to be built and shipped, I leased another vehicle from Phil Long Toyota - I was extremely satisfied with their willingness to accommodate me (by delivering both my temporary vehicle and, once built, custom vehicle). I love my new car, it drives wonderfully, is beautiful, and has exactly everything I needed and wanted in a brand new car. Special thanks to co-owner Lisa Camarillo as well as employee Scott Fields, both of them helped me tremendously in the process, and I am so thankful for their help and dedication to getting me everything I needed.

    We live in Phoenix, AZ, but are originally from Southern CO. My son's 2021 Corolla was totalled and we needed to help him replace it, so we decided to work with Phil Long Toyota of Trinidad before going to a dealership in Phoenix. We couldn't be happier we did! Chris Foerch was the most amazing sales representative. He worked with us for weeks to try to find the exact vehicle my son wanted. Each time a vehicle came on the lot that was a possible match, he sent us a personalized video with a "tour" of the car. I've never bought a vehicle online before, and was a bit nervous about not actually seeing the car, but Chris did such a good job in the videos, it felt as though we were seeing it in person. Even though the first several cars were not quite what my son wanted, Chris continued to look for cars that were a better match and stayed in touch with us. He was so attentive in listening to what we wanted and trying to find the best vehicle for us. The customer service was just outstanding. In the end, it worked out that my son was able to get into a brand new 2023 Corolla for a monthly payment that was less than he was paying on his 2021... we were just amazed. Paula was wonderful in helping us with the financial side. We didn't have a large down payment, nor do we have perfect credit, but she was still able to work out what I feel is the best deal we have ever gotten on a car. The online purchase process was so easy. As opposed to spending hours in a dealership as I am used to, we had terms worked out and a deal agreed to within minutes. The vehicle was delivered to us in Phoenix, and the delivery driver, Naomi, took special care to get the car washed, full of gas, and looking as if it had just rolled out of the showroom. She was wonderful to work with as well. While the online purchase process made me a bit nervous at first, I can't say enough positive things about making an online purchase through this dealer. We have at least four Toyota dealerships within 20 minutes of our home. But when it is time for our next purchase, Phil Long Toyota of Trinidad will absolutely be the first place we call.

    James oversaw the maintenance service that was performed on my truck. He was very attentive to any, and all questions I had. He also communicated very well with me every step of the way. After performing the inspection, only two things were recommended for replacement. These two things were the air filter, and the cabin filter. James spoke with me immediately, to get my approval, before replacing the filters. I gave my approval, and the filters were quickly replaced. Overall, the oil change, and 20,000 mile maintenance inspection, went as smoothly and efficiently, as I could’ve hoped. It was a good experience!

    I drove all the way here from Red River, NM because i wanted to do maintenance at a "Trustworthy" Toyota dealer. I had a tune-up and some other work done. All went fine until later down the road after my check engine light came on and my 4runner was running rough, i took it into my local Toyota dealer. They stated all 6 spark plugs on my vehicle were loose. I contacted Ronald Hicks, the service manager and told him my situation; that after getting simple service done there that costs $300 i had to pay another $220 diagnostic fee because their job was done incorrectly. I provided him with paperwork stating what the tech had to fix. Ronald Hicks wanted to give me $90 as a "Customer satisfaction basis ONLY" because he stood by his techs while he questioned the integrity of other Toyota techs and said he had no proof of the problem and didn't know how they other tech "Interpreted spark plug tightness." I asked for a reimbursement of nothing more but the labor price of their unsatisfactory job of $185, not even the parts or diagnostic fee. Mr. Hicks refused and continued to just argue with me about the situation. Of my 20 years of driving Toyotas and using dealerships with my family i have never had a situation like this. The standards at Toyota are dropping and so is the craftsmanship in their techs. I have also never had this kind of service at any other Toyota. Options are limited in that area. Drive somewhere else.

    What a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I loved the video they provided, walking me through the inspection of my truck, advising me of any concerns. In addition, they welcomed our Rocky. This is huge as Rocky is young and still learning. A mechanic came over to say hi to Rocky, gave him a pet, then chatted for a few minutes. Well, Rocky did not appreciate no longer being the center of attention and vocalize his sentiment with a rather loud bark. The mechanic just laughed and petted Rocky more. Thank You All!

    My husband and I are from out of town and while heading towards our destination, he accidentally shattered the driver side window of our Toyota Tacoma trying to smash a bug. Unfortunately, this happened at nearly 5:00 pm when every auto shop is getting ready to close and/or would have to order the replacement window. We turned a corner and saw this Toyota location. We thought it wouldn’t hurt to pop in and ask if they do any sort of emergency services. Although they didn’t have the replacement window, one of their service administrators (young, nice girl but forgot to catch her name) went as far as to call her own family member to see if they could squeeze us in before closing and when their auto shop could not, she still asked the Service team to very thoroughly wrap our window up tightly and protectively with cellophane until we could get in somewhere to have it fixed. All this to say, what an excellent customer service team that went far above what they were required to. We are more than appreciative.

    I came in very anxious about buying a car. My previous car buying experience from another dealer was a very negative one, so I went in assuming they would be the stereotypical pushy car salesman. I could not have been more wrong. Darby paired me with Renee Martinez. Renee was a wonderful saleswoman, who was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding. She was so much fun to work with, and listened to any and all concerns I had about the cars I was test driving. I cannot reccommend her enough. The other staff went above and beyond to explain everything to me in a way that I would understand, and they were great in helping me through every step of the process. My husband is next to get a new vehicle, and we will be going to Phil Long Toyota for our next vehicle. 10/10 will shop again :)

    It took me 9 months to find a Toyota dealership that could get me a Sienna in the trim level I wanted and wasn't trying to charge $10k over MSRP. My sales person Beau was extremely communicative and I felt like he always had my best interest in mind and wasn't just trying to sell me whatever they had on the lot. Financing was a breeze and when it finally came time to pick up my van they had it cleaned and ready to go at the front of the dealership. Beau probably spent two hours with me making sure I was comfortable with the Toyota app and all the features the van had. Considering how few Sienna's they get I was surprised how well he knew the vehicle and when he wasn't sure about something he wasn't afraid to say he didn't know and was able to find someone who had the correct answer. I can't say enough good things about the team at Phil Long Toyota and I will absolutely be coming back for my next vehicle!

    I am still in the process of getting my new 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid, but I’ve had the best experience so far. I have been helped by Daniel and Beau. I think it’s super cool that they are a team and you get excellent service/communication from both of them. I appreciate that they have answered all the questions I’ve had and communicated everything throughout the process. Also originally my car was planned to be built later and I was planning to wait awhile for it. But it just got built and I’m getting it earlier than expected.     Not sure if this is the new practice but we chose not to participate. This dealership asked for our money in full without ever seeing the sequoia. It’s supposedly being built but even they’ve never seen it. Asked for $90,000 by Thursday and hoped we might get our vehicle in October. Felt too uneasy so we had to walk away and they refused to refund our $1000 deposit. Maybe they’re being honest about its an auditing issue and requirement but we chose to walk away after consulting with other dealerships and bankers who very quickly told us not to do this.

    Phil Long Toyota of Trinidad is very professional and appear to be well organized.Service usually takes less then an hour but the day I was there it took a little over an hour which normally wouldn't have been a problem but this day I had another appointment that I might not make unless things moved along faster. I mentioned my next appointment and they expedited my vehicle. They appear to really care about their customers. I'll continue to take my vehicle there for service when needed.

    The best Toyota dealership out here hands down. I was on a road trip and got stranded around Trinidad, CO, luckily this dealership saved my life. I called in and arrived there and within less than an hour they fixed my car completely and I was ready to go. My bill was more than I could afford But Miss Lisa she hooked me up with 20% off parts and labor as a Christmas present and I finally could afford it. She is simply awesome. I am overwhelmed by the service that they provided. In simple words, they are the best. Appreciate the excellent service.

    Excellent customer service! Several employees came by the waiting area and asked if there was anything I needed while my vehicle was being serviced. The technician came out after the work was done and explained the service and answered my questions. The service writer was courteous, efficient, and even walked me to my vehicle at the end.     I ran into some serious trouble with my front axle and ball joint about 30mi outside of Trinidad. I tookbit to Phil Long Toyota of Trinidad and Sean and Elissa got me in right away and even took video of the problem so I can show my mechanic in Denver what he overlooked!     O.m.G! Chris and the finance department where amazing. I called and did the entire deal on the phone. All I had to so is show up and sign my paperwork. The General Manager got me the deal I wanted. I absolutely love my new 2020 Toyota 4-Runner Limited.     Mitch in the service center was awesome! Super professional and kind. Helped me get an oil change bright and early at a good price. I would have given a 5 star review for him but I wanted to mention that a Lisa (short, kind of got a karen hair cut) was very unprofessional and rude to both me and the 2 service workers loudly and out in front of everyone in the dealership. I thought she was just an upset costumer and it took me a moment to realize that she may be their manager!! Super unprofessional and will effect wether or not I chose to come back to this dealership. She needs a lesson on professionalism in the workplace. No one should have that much attitude at 9am.

    The service department went above and beyond for us! Big shout out to Ron and Mitch! We were traveling through on our way back home to Texas when one of the vehicles in our group broke down. Mitch was great in communicating with us. Ron did a very detailed assessment of the damage to the vehicle due to overheating to make sure we weren’t making unnecessary repairs if the vehicle couldn’t be salvaged. Thankfully we just had to replace the radiator and do some other maintenance repairs. They made sure the car is ready for my daughter to take back to college. They even took good care of the loaded trailer we were pulling, keeping it safe and sound until we could come back and get it. My daughter and I needed help getting the trailer hooked back up to our car and Mitch wouldn’t let us go till he made sure it was safely hitched. You can trust these folks with your car. A+ experience!

    Sales sold me a car that was making a noise when I would hit a bump. They service manager said no problem my warranty I bought would cover repairs. Well it’s sad to say my warranty did not cover it and I had to pay 1,500.00 out of my pocket to get it repaired. From this service I had from Phil long Toyota I would never recommend this dealer to anyone

    Interestingly enough in a state that is known to draw off road tourists, this dealership is not equipped to accommodate land cruises of all generations. While I understand from an inventory stand point this may be an unreasonable expectation, the customer service and parts of assisting in these situations is an entirely different story. O'Reilly (autopart store) on the other hand, had non of the same issues. O'Reilly was willing and able to best assess our need, order the part, and have it delivered (within an hour of our current destination). Long story short, if you are needing immediate service, I would not count on this Toyota dealer to provide assistance. Signed disappointed

    I have had my 2018 Toyota Tacoma for 2 years now that I purchased from Phil Long Toyota in Trinidad. I always take it 3 hours from my house to Trinidad for my maintenance check because their shop has excellent customer service and is very thorough! It is so Awesome because Ron, sent me a video of the maintenance he was doing. He showed me everything that he checked and reviewed everything with me by showing everything on the video. It was awesome to actually see everything with my own eyes! Thanks Ron, you Rock!!

    My children and I have purchased multiple vehicles at this location and every experience has been absolutely wonderful. My most recent purchase, my salesman Chris R, went above and beyond teaching me about all of the amazing things my car can do and Lisa worked hard to make a miracle happen! This was a dream day for me and I want to thank the entire team for helping to make this happen! I never feel like a customer, I feel like family!

    From out of state and car broke down and got stuck here. Now parts have taken a while (covid and als kind of in the middle of nowhere) and I have yet to receive my vehicle, however I am today (after a week) The service staff has been absolutely wonderful in helping, especially Ellysia. I hope that the install goes well and I make it back safe 😂 Also the great part is that they take videos of the work progress they do on your car and email you!

    I had a great time looking for a car at trinidads phil long Toyota. Jeremy Maucione helped me. He had patience and knowledge of all the vehicles i looked at. He was never pushy or over selling. Once i told him what i was looking for and my price range he never went above that and he helped me view all my options. I would strongly recommend Jeremy to help you if your ever looking for a car in Trinidad.

    I was impressed to see that an oil change, tire rotation, and filters were completed in 35 minutes. However, I requested an inspection of the paint on my vehicle that is chipping. I was informed that it is due to tree sap. I have never had a vehicle chip paint due to sap. I purchased this vehicle new and have had it one year this month. I don't believe that the paint would be chipping on the sides of my car if it were due to sap. I was informed that this also happens to many of the vehicles on the lot. I explained that I have my car in the garage and I mainly drive highway. I paid cash for this vehicle as well as the car I purchased for cash the year previous. I don't believe that I will be purchasing another vehicle from an establishment that in my opinion is not truthful. I have purchased used vehicles with no paint chipping and had that vehilce for many years without the paint chipping. I am truly disappointed.

😠 Oil changes were taking too long because the machine was not evacuating the oil properly. After waiting in line over an hour the car that was still in the bay was still there, so I left.
