My husband and I stayed at the Seabreeze cottage Sept 8-13. It was so amazing. We didn't even need to leave our place because the beach and surroundings were enough to keep us entertained. We saw seals every day swimming near our place. We saw an eagle perched on the small island that was visible from our back porch. We also had our upper balcony to relax on for an even better view. Our cottage was clean and well kept with a fully stocked kitchen and a bath and a half. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a perfect Maine getaway. It was so cool seeing how high and low the tides were twice a day. They can change by up to 28 feet at times! We walked the beach for hours and found muscles, periwinkles, crabs and lots of cool sea glass. We will definitely return in the future. Thank you Ross for everything. We also loved Ross's own blend of organic coffee.

Wow! What an awesome place. My wife and I came up toMaine from Texas to stay at Ross's place for our honeymoon. It was perfect. The cabins are very "cabiney", sorry I couldn't think of a better word. You could spend a whole day just looking at all the art work on the walls and details throughout. We just felt so relaxed and there with nature. The cabins are spaced fairly far apart so you're also very private. Ross provided everything we needed including fresh eggs from the chicken coop. The scenery was gorgeous and the little town was quaint. Ross was the best to work with. He's very responsive to calls and texts, we'd recommend calling him to book so he can get you the best spot just for you. He's usually around on the property but never bothered us unless we bothered him first. Awesome place, awesome owner, we will probably go back for our anniversary we loved it so much. We flew into Bangor and picked up groceries for the week at the grocery store right outside the airport. They had everything we wanted and recommend stopping there on your way; the IGA near the cabin also had a decent grocery selection if you're not too particular. I was impressed that the kitchen has everything we needed including a coffee pot, filters, bottle opener, soap, hand mixer, grill, etc. I also appreciated having a well functioning washer/dryer and dishwasher for the week. We used the fire pit outside for s'mores while star gazing. Memories that will be remembered for a lifetime.

Visited for the past three years. Ross is a great host. He's around if you need anything but not a bother at all! The house has everything you need. Extras are available at the Red Barn if needed. Beautiful views.

We stayed in one of the farm houses at Rossport by the sea while in town to perform at the eastport pirate festival. The house was amazing,! Especially for a house that was as old as it is. Very well kept and clean. The property has some beautiful water fromt views and a few surprises spread out around the property as well. ( I don't want to spoil it for you) Located within a 10 min drive to the downtown area made it so much better whole still being in a secluded area. I highly suggest a stay here if planning a trip to eastport.

Stayed here twice. On my way into Canada and on my way back to the states. Great staff, rooms were very clean but it was just a room. Great food in the restaurant with a huge selection. They also have a lounge if you care to have a drink after a long days travel. Very convenient to the Canada/US border crossing. I'll stay there again if I ever have the opportunity.

Have stayed here numerous times over the years. An old style motel with decent rooms and comfortable beds. Great location, right at the Canada/USA border crossing. Wickachee Dining Room right next door, easy to walk to.

Followed other suggestions and asked for a River view. Pros: Large room with microwave, small 'fridge, desk & reading/tv chair. Comfy bed! Adirondack-style chairs outside with killer view. Cons: 3 stars only for thin walls (could hear tv), food left in 'fridge by previous guest (ewwww) and the HEAT...we roasted all night even leaving a window open in 30 degree weather. So. Hot. All in all? I would return.

The desk closes at 9 PM. If youre not there by 9 PM, you can't get it. Even with a reservation. The rooms are ok. It's Calais, Maine. Whaddya expect?

Ross and his family are the consummate hosts. We had such a delightful time that our entire family from Texas to Nebraska are taking a special trip out for 2021 to see the picturesque sights! For an unforgettable chance of a lifetime, Rossport is a must place to stay and visit.

Super friendly down to earth host Ross and his magical property Rossport were absolutely perfect! We stayed in the cottage right on the water and totally unplugged for 2 days. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful getaway!

Attended a wedding here. Event facility with several rooms in different buildings. 2 large barns serve as halls, outdoor stage in a natural ampitheater with extraordinary views of Cobscook Bay, quirky, campy, whimsical decor which defies genre. Bald eagles soaring overhead and beautiful sunset. Proprietor very friendly and accommodating

This place is exactly what a motel should be. Clean, comfortable, affordable. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. Staying here was the right choice.

The bed are lumpy and hard. When you book a motel the most important thing is the bed. We had an ocean view which was nice but does not make up for the sore back you have in the morning

Stayed there with a large group of people this weekend and had a get together in the field Sat. night. (which they have been good about letting us do the last few years) Had a late night, so most wanted to relax/sleep in Sun. morning. Housekeeping started knocking on doors around 7:30am, even unlocking and walking in on some. A few were still sleeping, some were in the shower or getting dressed. One even asked "Are you leaving today?" "Yes." "Well do you have any idea what time?" "Uh no....." Check-out is not until 11. I just feel there should be a better system in place, like radio from the office to the maids when a room # checks out. Last year, same group, checked in and were standing in the front, when a maid walked by with 2 bowls of food we had just put in the fridge for the get together. When asked what she was doing, she said taking them to the office, they were left in the room. Again, radios back and forth would have been good.

When I am travelling I am looking for a reasonably priced comfortable room and that is exactly what I get at the International Motel. The bed is as comfortable as any I have slept on which is great for a person who often has back issues. The people at the front desk are cheerful and helpful. Will stay here again when in the area.

We were late driving in the night, and seems there were not too many hotels around in the area. This was better than expected. Good hotel to rest before entering to the US.

I live the International Motel. The folks are always friendly and helpful. If you need anything extra, just ask. My favorite thing about it is the rooms are always immaculate. They have updated the rooms since my last visit, now the rooms are even better.

Nice motel by the river. Rooms are dated but adequate. Try to get a room facing the River. If the weather's good, you can sit outside and have cocktails and watch the River.

The International Motel is clean, quiet, and comfortable with plenty of parking and nice views (river view rooms). Although the decor is dated, each room has a mini-fridge and microwave. This motel is close to shopping, dining, and services in Calais Maine and is a great launch off point for visits to coastal New Brunswick Canada.
