Ubreakidontfix* Brought in my laptop that was not turning on. Got a call back that "it was full of water and rusty" and they'll clean it out for $99. If it doesn't run, no charge. Picked it up, got the insurance plan in lieu of paying for it. Laptop doesn't work. Drop it back of and get a call next day "yeah this was full of water and all rusty". We got it fixed for you though. Picked it up again and it still doesn't work. I would like a refund for the insurance plan that won't cover anything because it will have to be attempted to be fixed here first which has proven to me that it is not possible. Tried calling asurion but can't get through. Can't get thru via phone to ubreakicantfix. Bought tools and removed the back myself and wouldn't ya know no rust.

I’ve had my screen fixed here a couple of times, I dropped the phone off and it was fixed within an hour or two. Everybody is always friendly. Prices are great too. Would highly recommend.

Dropped off two phones at 4:30 on a Saturday. One needed a new battery, the other needed a new screen. The phones were repaired by Alex, who did a fantastic job. Both repairs were completed by store closing at 7. Thank you!

The team at the Royal Oak location were friendly, customer focused and extreemly proficient. I had been to Southfield and Troy both of those experiences was like being in hell. The manager in Troy even snubbed the AT&T service manager and the insurance manager. Royal Oak was outstanding... They saved my account and may win my business account back to AT&T.

The repair process was quick and easy the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable the quality of their work is phenomenal you can't even tell that there was ever any damage on my phone

This was my second time using uBreakiFix. Both experiences have been very positive. Today I needed to have the screen replaced on my iPhone 14 pro. James provided excellent assistance, particularly given that my screen was crushed in a way that made getting necessary info from the phone a challenge. I appreciate the high level of customer service I received— and that I saw James and his colleague (vinnie I believe) extend to other customers as I waited for my phone to be ready.

Good communication repair time not bad at all same day like within a few hours I had my phone back, very polite and professional offers 1 year warranty and other products and services that are worth it. Also gives great advice. Fix for s22 plus. Price was not too far off of the price I looked up in general for this kind of fix.

I had never been to this store before and I was so extremely pleased with the whole experience. I came in with a cracked and broken screen and Jacques handled my repair. He guided me through the claim application on my phone and helped me get it all set so I could leave my phone for the screen replacement. I was told the repair would take up to two hours and I returned 90 minutes later and it was already done. My phone looks brand new! I highly recommend this store and will, definitely, return in the future should I need any type of repair that they handle there.

This place is wonderful! I took my mom’s phone in because I thought she just needed a battery replacement, turns out her volume and power button stopped working. The nice gentleman showed me how to add those options to her screen so we don’t have to bother with the buttons. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Went in to the Royal Oak store today to see if they could fix the volume and speakers on my iPhone. I figured I'd have to leave the phone and I had a number of other errands planned hoping I could get the phone back maybe a few hours later. The young techie fixed my volume in about 10 minutes. BOOM. I was out of there. Courteous, helpful. Didn't even charge me!

I called to see if I could get my screen reglued because it was almost ready to fall off. They checked to see if I could have it done for free, since I'd been there before for a broken screen. Well, it had been just a over a year, and that made it out of warranty. They said that was ok, bring it in anyway and they would do it for free. Turned out my battery had gone bad and would have to be replaced or else my phone might catch fire. I had noticed that it became extremely warm a couple of times and that was probably why the screen adhesive was melting. They said it was about a 3 hour job. It was after 4 and they close at 7, but they said they'd try to get it done for me anyhow. Sure enough 6:30 rolled around and I got the call to come and get it. These guys are the greatest. They even got the bulge out of the back of the phone that the hot battery had caused. This is my third visit here for phone repairs and it's always been a good experience. I definitely recommend these guys. Thanks.

Customer service was amazing, I was amazed at how fast the repair went. They replaced the screen on my IPhone XS Max and everything worked great. They even cleaned out my speakers and chargeport free of charge. I found out they do computers as well so I’ll be bringing in more of my devices in the future

Fixed the screen on my Note 8 in about 2 hours. Works just like new. A quick process through Asurion. People were friendly and processed people as quickly as possible. One even took the time to explaine all options and prices to a lady trying to fix her phone. Very nice of them.

I called them because I have a plan through T-Mobile. After 10 days of getting the runaround about my cracked screen and I have insurance on the cell phone, I was told it was a warranty issue then I was told it was an insurance issue nobody wanted to help me so after a lot of frustration and many phone calls I took it to You break I fix. My phone was fixed within 1 hour fast reasonable very professional highly recommend

Sean was the representative that greeted me!!! I explained to him that my phone was shut off after I placed in my purse while coming into my home so that it would not pocket dial or anything!!! While still talking in the phone I attempted to turn the screen back on. The phone back light wouldn't come back on??? So I put the other on the charger and continually attempted to turn the phone on!!!! I called Sprint T mobile technical support I was online with them over an hour!!! Then they called Samsung Support Care!!! They both had me hold the power button and the down volume button simultaneously for about 10 second count. The phone vibrated but the screen would not come back on??? I received incoming calls and I could answer my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra from my Plantronics Bluetooth Bluetooth. Sean asked me if I told him my phone was still under Samsung warranty if I had planned to pay for my phone today... I explained to him that I spoke with Ryan and he said he would look at my phone and create my ticket when I got there. Sean was arrogant and obnoxious he continually made snide remarks about that it was no way Assurion could have trouble shooted my phone at the T Mobile/ Sprint Corporate store in Roseville. He would not accept my phone until I had that ticket number that I insisted was in the system and he proclaimed my computer is running slow!!! After going to my career I went into the Chipotle restaurant to use the ladies from, very briefly. When I returned within 5 minutes her said he tech was able to get my phone screen on and nothing was arguing with my phone!!! I told him it took me roughly 41 minutes to drive there and I would like to have my phone trouble shooted because my phone screen had been off and would not come back on since around 6pm Friday evening October 15, 2021 until I made it to UBREAKIFIX Troy location around 1:30 pm!!! What makes matters worst I left my phone drove all the way back to downtown Detroit approximately 40 minutes. Then I called back to UBREAKIFIX and the same rep Ryan whom had been courteous from the first called of the morning 11:15am had been very helpful!! He answered the lines sand told him my phone was ready and they everything checked out and they my phone had been trouble shooted and her thought I took my phone with me!!! 🤔🤔🤔 Now you go figure what happen but it's obviously to me that Sean was and very unprofessional and rude and deliberately have me a hard time and did not show professionalism or courteousness!!! So I drove approximately 2 hours back and forth in heavy traffic with construction on Chrysler freeway... llñlllllllllNot too mention my time and effort only to receive sub-par service from Sean at UBREAKIFIX ‼️☹️😕😟

I have been here a few times. A cute and clean little store. A real specialist in what they do! They do a great job of basic screen and battery repairs to an iPhone. Lightning fast service! Please give them a try when you are in need in the Royal Oak/Ferndale/Pleasant Ridge area!

Got my Google pixel 5a fixed there. The staff was helpful and nice. Although they almost charged me out of pocket due to one of the staff members not knowing that Google covers glass damage for the 5a under warranty. Otherwise, it was fairly quick. Got everything done in 2 days.

I just got my laptop fixed at U break I fix. At first there was a big miscommunication and I was very upset with the service I got. It caused my laptop to sit there all week with no one working on it. They said I should expect a call back within 24 hours for a price quote which never happened. I eventually called them up four days later to find out what was going on since they failed to give me any updates. The technician on the phone let me know that my laptop had turned on just fine. I explained to him that I didn’t go in for that reason… so Initially the technician told me it could take up to two weeks to get the part in that needed fixing and I was very upset! My laptop had already been sitting there almost a week a that point and i was not interested in paying high prices for bad service! Thankfully It ended up being a good experience. The technician was able to get the part overnighted, and within the next day he was able to get my laptop fixed!
