I had a lovely evening sitting at the bar. Tim was one of the bartenders that was very attentive and friendly. I wish I’d caught the name of the other bartender because he was also super kind. Great atmosphere. Definitely high class quality with a price to match. (It’s pricey) Sounds like they have fun dancing nights too. Interested in checking that out.

Recommended by a local friend and it's an eclectic joint with decent food. The ladies got cocktails and we split the fried brussel sprouts plus chips/salsa/guac apps. For entrees I got the ribeye, my wife got the tofu poke bowl and our friend got the Jamaican jerk chicken curry. I'm partial to red meat, so my ribeye was clearly the best... but the other two dishes looked good too. Service was good but I think I would have enjoyed it more on another night. They were having salsa dancing lessons in the downstairs bar and it was pretty loud. We knew that before going to their downstairs, but the brick walls really echoed the salsa music. It was a fun joint and I'd definitely go back and try other menu items.

Absolutely incredible. The host was a delight to talk to while we waited for our table (we arrived a bit early), and before we even got the menu we were blown away by the decor. So many amazing paintings! But the most important thing is the food, and that was absolutely on par with the rest. It was incredible! The portion sizes are small (it is called "tapas" after all), but that meant that my partner and I finished all our food and left satisfied, but not overly stuffed. I'd highly, highly recommend!

Had my wedding reception here in 2019 and the food was incredible. Came back for my anniversary and the food is still incredible. The menu evolves but is always tasty. They have so many options and the service is incredible. The ambience is inviting and intimate. Love this place.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Tapas made our anniversary dinner a dream come true which is hard to do when you’re celiac (gluten free) AND dairy free. It was all thanks to our AMAZING server Nicole who made me feel comfortable and went above and beyond to make sure the chef could cater to my dietary needs and made sure everything I ate was safe for me. They even SAVED us the last vegan gluten free dessert Incase we wanted it. SO CUTE! Now onto the eats. We had the spring roll which was delicious. And then had the Jamaican Jerk chicken which was hot in a good way and the Beef Bogoli? Dish with rice noodles. The strips of beef were so tender and tasty! Next up was a scallop dish they prepared especially for me since the original version had dairy. And our FAVORITE dish which was mouth watering was the rack of lamb seasoned to salty perfection with quinoa. The vibe inside is romantic with a hidden tucker away feel. Options to sit up or downstairs and even outside up or downstairs. 💯a must eat at place! Can’t wait to go back!

Aside from there being a bit too much truffle oil in the mushroom risotto, our food was really good. We did a pick up order while we stayed at the Hyatt and their covid procedures are clear. One bummer is their take out containers. We didn't have any plates to move our food to do it was a little hard eating out of their seemingly eco friendly (yay!) To go containers. I wouldn't change their containers, just wanted to give people a heads up.

The food was very delicious. The space is small and can get overcrowded but overall great experience. I ordered the lamb chops! So yummy and an absolute must try! You can truly taste the freshness in the food and the presentation is great.

We wanted to get out a bit—going COVID stir crazy so we landed here on a wonderfully warm Fall night. The service was excellent and every person on staff respected all COVID protocol. Even all the bartenders wore masks the entire time we were there and never pulled them down. Food was great quality and flavors. Two people, drinks, wine and dinner was $100. Worth every penny for the most pleasant evening out since COVID hit.

Loved the setting and loved the staff! Very welcoming bunch and had a great conversation with the bartender as he served us and gave amazing recommendations! The setting is low-light and the music was reminiscent of Brazil. Food was delicious and I would highly suggest trying the beef enchiladas and the pork plate!

Great bar! Parking can be a little challenging, but worth it. The food is excellent, and they are open surprisingly late!

LOVE THIS PLACE! 5 STAR FOOD, 5 STAR SERVICE. This is my 2nd x visiting Tapas 177 the 1st time I arrived late so the restaurant downstairs was closed. The Bartender was nice and the drinks were not only delicious but also priced reasonably we decided to go back and try the restaurant. Upon entering we had trouble finding a parking space. The waiter told us to park in the back and come through the patio. Walking into the restaurant I was blown away by the atmosphere, beautifully designed, dark and cozy. We ordered drinks, tuna tartare, lamb chops, curry chicken, pasta, dessert and calamari and EVERY bit of it was delicious. Our waitress was very nice she helped us decide best options for food and drinks and told us a story about the place. They have been open for 20 years and she had been there 16. To top this place off they offer FREE Salsa lessons! I would highly recommend this restaurant for a night out with the girl, however it's absolutely perfect for datenight. I plan to go every week until I try everything on the menu. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😋

Desert was really good. I ordered the jamaican chicken curry not a fan not something that is worth paying $15 for. Scallops were good deff cooked the right way only thing mushrooms and sauce was go salty. We sat out side and environment was just to loud it was my wife and I. Wanted a romantic night out. I would come back just for dessert banana cheesecake made the rest of the night

It's a great place to go for a date. Food is excellent and has a nice selection of cocktails. Waiters can be trained better to handle water glasses by the bottoms but that's a minor gripe.

Tapas never disappoints and it didn't last night! Their vegan menu is robust enough to feel like we have actual choices and the staff there are some of the best in town - always friendly without being too overwhelming, and completely helpful. The vegan Moroccon stew last night was so good, we spent time analyzing everything about it in order to try to recreate it at home! And of course, the spring rolls!!!!! They're doing a fabulous job with managing safety re: COVID, too, so we felt comfortable, welcomed, and sated!! Thanks, friends!

It has been 20 years or so since I was here last. It looked and felt the same, which was comforting. I've always enjoyed this place - great food and interesting drinks. The ambiance was nice with low lighting, which was soft and added to the character of this place. We felt welcomed when we arrived. We were there for drinks, so we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was friendly and responsive. The drink menu was diverse - with a good mix of interesting cocktails and wines by the glass. I had a glass of the Monastrell, which is a nice dry Spanish wine. It was good. The drink prices are also reasonable. Overall a fantastic experience. We'll likely be back for dinner soon.
