I recently visited Marabu, a Cuban restaurant, and was blown away by the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. The standout dish for me was the Cuban sandwich, which was packed full of flavorful, succulent roast pork, ham, and cheese. The bread was perfectly toasted and the pickles added a nice tangy touch. Overall, I highly recommend Marabu for anyone looking for authentic and delicious Cuban cuisine. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable. Absolute 10 out of 10!! The ambiance is very enjoyable. They play excellent music here, the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, and the food is SO DELICIOUS! I was actually surprised by how great the food was, I wasn’t expecting that. I dined at the bar alone, but their bartender, named Tony, totally made my night. He was super kind, super conversational and very funny. It’s clear the staff get along well because they create such a playful environment that makes the whole experience of being there feel lighthearted. I seriously enjoyed my time so much and I look forward to going back.

Marcia was absolutely wonderful. We came here for my friends birthday. The night we docked from our cruise. We had a beautiful relaxing atmosphere with great music. The food was great the octopus was wonderfully cooked and the bacon jam was to die for. The plantain chips were perfectly cooked and the right portion for the 4 of us to snack on. One of us got the Cuban bowl the pork was amazing. Another had the snapper all tasted it and wanted to order it so bad. I had the Cuban burger it was amazing. Perfectly cooked and the fries were so crisp. The birthday girl had the original Cuban and was extremely satisfied she left with a smile. We had strawberry, coconut, passion fruit, guava and a Long Island. We were extremely satisfied but the food and the service Marcia thank you so much!

We were tourists looking for some great food to try. Eileen was our waitress and she was AMAZING! She recommended great drinks, appetizers and entrees. She had a great personality and made our experience there a memorable one. I definitely recommend trying this restaurant if you’re in the are. We had the Salmon, burger, Snapper, and sautéed shrimp. All of which was great! We will definitely visit again!!

I spent a day in Florida. Went for a nice photo at the mall. But I felt attracted to this super cool restaurant and tried it out with my family. We were delighted with the food! Such a great taste. Keep that kitchen team eh! But we can't forget about Valentina. She made really great recommendations and she has a very friendly attitude. Overall service is very very fast, there are other servers who will help out making sure your table is clean. I definitely recommend this place and try to find Valentina! Good spot for photos too.

AMAZING service. But not even that, I was blown away at how insane the food was. I came here because another restaurant wasn’t open and we just saw it and stopped by not having even known of the place because it was just recently opened. Little did they know i’m OBSESSED with cuban food and this place NAILED every dish for me. I’m so picky with any dish but wow... the croquetas are to diiiie for and the empanadas and maduros and churrasco and cowboy steak.. SEALED IT. I cannot wait to come back. Gabriel had the most amazing service hands down. I will be back often and Im always asking for Gabriel bc that service was unmatched. Thank you!

Lovely experience. Our party of 4 went on a weekday for lunch. The hostess seated us outside and the waitress brought water shortly after. They answered all of our questions and helped with food accommodations. Their service went above and beyond with a smile. Marabu is not visible from the road however it's easy to find. Located near the elevator and escalators. Underground paid parking available on site.

Valentina was a phenomenal server! She's very attentive to your needs and extremely knowledgeable about the menu items. I don't normally eat much, and she came by thinking that I was displeased, which I most certainly was not! But I really appreciate that she was looking out for our table. Pictured is a very delicious half chicken that was roasted in a Josper BBQ, which is the hottest indoor BBQ that you can have. It had a very smoky flavor and was seasoned perfectly! Another entree was the Tasajo over Tamal en Cazuela, which was a very tender short rib that was salt cured for two days and then smoked for 4 hours. We had the Maduro Tentacion as an appetizer, which is a sweet plantain that was also roasted in the Josper grill and stuffed with bacon, jam, and mozzarella. Definitely recommend it as a starter! And finally, the flan con queso as dessert. It was a nice, firm cheesecake with the right amount of sweetness! Not pictured, we did enjoy a Cuba Libre cocktail and a red sangria as well! Overall, 15/10 would recommend making your way over & enjoying an evening out there!

Place is beautiful but food is ok so I wouldn’t go back. The classic mojito, advertised as the best mojito in Miami, is overpriced ($16) and it is definitely NOT the best mojito I’ve had; It was average. I got the palomilla steak, ordered medium, came out well done, not tender at all. My rice was cold. Beans were delicious and tostones too. The ropa vieja empanadas were the best part of the whole dining experience, however they’re very small and there’s only 2 of them in one order. Not good for sharing. My server was very kind and so was the host.

Valentina was our server and she was amazing. It was my friend’s birthday and she made it special. The salmon tartare and short rib app were amazing. The presentation of all that came out was impressive. If you like goat cheese the flan is fantastic. Half a chicken and the palomilla steak were made perfectly. The food!! The food! Wow! It was 6 of us that went. We each raved about our food. I had the Marabú Mojito. Lord, that mint foam on top is 🔥. I wanted to order another one but I had been drinking too much already. Our waiter Carlos...he was awesome! He provided recommendations and he was on point. He knew the food well. I had the red snapper. It was great because they take the meat, put in batter and then fry but still give you the fish body. The sauces!!! One sauce was like an aioli. The other one, I don't know but it had a smoky taste. Never had anything like it. I would say the only downfall to this restaurant is that it is in a mall. We didnt know this. But it's so worth it. I highly recommend.

I cannot give Marabu enough praise! We are worldwide foodies and were very excited to try out the coal fired high-end Cuban cuisine from so many wonderful social media photos. The staff was attentive but not intrusive. The drinks were excellent (batido de mamey and Cuban old fashioned). The food...literally the best food we have had in 2020. We had an incredible plantain with mozzarella and bacon (WHAT!) + the mussels (huge plate) for appetizers, and the short rib + caja China for entrees. The short rib wasn't hot when it came out, but we had so much food we did not mind at all having it heated. 3 to-go plates later we could not have another bite...the manager comes out to apologize and offer us free desert, the goat's milk flan. Really, the apology was not needed, much less dessert...but it turns out it was the best flan we have had in the world. It's THAT good. I cannot wait to go back and try more things on the menu, Marabu has immediately become our top 5 restaurant experiences in Miami!

Everything was a 10! We were walking in the mail & got hungry so we arrived honestly when they had just closed. After the host told us they were close, the manager Alejandro came out as we were walking away and asked the kitchen to accommodate us & one more other family. That was an immensely kind gesture and I thanked him multiple times cause I was starving. The apps, drinks, and entrees all came out so quick and tasted amazing. We ended up spending almost $350 for this accommodation but it was well worth it.

PERFECT place! There was not a single position we ordered that we didn’t like. Really want to give a shoutout to our waitress Maria, who was just extreme nice and helpful. My husband got Tasajo Over Tamal En Cazuela, and that was an A+ dish! Meat is soft enough, flavors are pretty good an unique. I got Salmon Bowl which was also pretty nice, fresh and delicious, perfect for the lunch on a hot day. For the appetisers we started with Tostones Rellenos Ropa Vieja, and oh my god it was good, crunchy, juicy with great meat inside. We were physically not able to make it to the desert, but I can only imagine how great it would be. 5 stars for everything, great place.

Marabu at Brickell City Center in Miami is an excellent place to go for coal fired Cuban food that is a delicious and flavorful way to enjoy your meal. They have a very relaxed and laid back atmosphere that is fun and adds to everything. The service her is very attentive and the staff here works hard to make sure that you are well taken care of and that you have everything that you need. They are well worth a visit for something different and cool.

What a ABSOLUTE WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE I HAD with Andrea Cedeno as my server. She was polite, knows the menu and personable. Definitely coming back and hope she is still apart of the team. The food is exceptional....As a Chef myself, all these things matter....Marabu for the WIN!

Okay food, but disappointing experience. Came with my family, 4 total, and we decided to order 1 whole chicken with a salad and a yuca fries. They took over 35-40 minutes to have the dish ready. Their excuse was that they cook it once the customer orders it. Well the chicken arrived and it was not warm, so if you tell me you cooked the chicken once i order i would expect it to be hot. In the in between time we were waiting we brought to their attention the long wait and they didn’t offer something to keep the customer happy. After all this inconvenient experience we where caught by surprise of a 20% fee already included in our check.

Dinner was outstanding. High end Cuban cuisine with outstanding drinks—try the gauva mojitos, they are excellent. Gabriel was an engaging, knowledgeable and very customer focused server. All entrees came with extra sides, which were excellent. Pricing was very reasonable, and to top it all off, the exec chef/owner, Alberto Cabrera visited our table to check on our experience. I would give Marabú more than 5 stars if possible!

Great atmosphere, awesome music, bartender made really good gin and tonics by muddling the cucumber and lime using Hendricks. I tried the fish if the day which i chose tuna with the green house salad out if this world. Il definitely go back for more. The saute vegetables tasted as if i was eating an amazing steak in a good way. They were mixed with crispy fresh yuca bites. The masitas de puerco were really good too had like a savory taste to it and was served in like a mini bbq box. Great place to eat and enjoy with family or friends.

I loved this restaurant! I usually am not a fan of Cuban food but this restaurant blew me away! We sat at the bar and the bartender Ernesto was kind and attentive. He gave us great recommendations and we were pleased with the quality and preparation of the food. The chef, Humberto, walked by and greeted us warmly. The food was exquisite thanks to him. He seemed like an experienced and definitely exceptional chef. So glad that I stopped here on my trip to Miami.

Celebrated my 30th birthday at Marabú and had such an amazing time! The staff was extremely accommodating and attentive. The food was phenomenal! The “masitas de puerco” were unbelievable and the yuca was out of this world. The baked alaska is a must try! Absolutely delicious!! Drinks, ambiance, food! Everything was outstanding. Went back for lunch today and once again was impressed by the service and tasty food. Shout out to Yoandrey for the hospitality and 5 star service. Will be coming back soon!

Great new addition to Brickell city center. The charcoal twist on the Cuban food is a plus, especially on the delicious mussels. Our top choices were the maristas de puerco (do let them dry over the charcoal) and the lechón, the croquetas we're ok, same for the palomilla (a touch too dry) and the missed was the pulpo ( not charred at all) . Portion are pretty big. Service was on point and very friendly. The fact that you can eat outside is also a plus nowadays...

Fish special on menu was whole snapper and I got served the snapper body with out the fillet and they put swai chunk instead the snapper. I payed $400 to eat fried chunk swai. Never again!

I was yesterday with my family, took the waitress 10 minutes to come to the table to ask what do we want to drink, another 10 to take the order, first time that i had a smoothie mojito (bad), they didn't have Steak or fries for the kids, definitely never come back to this place. 20% tip mandatory!?
