Wonderful experience for a repair on my most precious wedding ring… after 16 years the ring was rather beat up. I had shopped around for a good price because it needed a significant amount of work. Patrick and his team talked it over and quoted me about half the price of the other jewelers, however that wasn’t my deciding factor. Andy owns the store and is a very knowledgeable and a fair owner. Recently, I took a new 2020 Rolex Submariner to check its authenticity. Patrick greeted me and was extremely helpful. Mario and Dillon showed me what to look for in checking for authenticity. Let’s just say they know their business. They confirmed its authenticity and fitted the bracelet. My family has been going to New York Diamond Center for about 20 years; first across the street on Southbound US 19, and now at their current location on Northbound US 19. We’ve bought many pieces here…rings, earrings, bracelets…and you really can’t beat the prices or the quality. Everyone is always open and friendly when you walk in, especially Patrick, who will take the time to sit down with you, discuss your options, and share his very experienced opinion. They have a large variety of jewelry on hand, as well as the ability to order anything you would desire. This was very helpful for my grandmother who was trying to find the perfect earrings for me for Christmas. I am very into minimal jewelry and can sometimes be very hard to buy for. Patrick was able to sit down with her and find the cutest ruby stud earring I have ever seen. They were the perfect size and color for my very picky tastes. They also offer custom jewelry services which we’ve taken advantage of. My mothers wedding ring kept losing stones so she took the ring to New York Diamond and they redesigned a ring that would last a lifetime…and 20 years later it’s still as beautiful and structurally sound as the day she picked it up. My family will continue to use New York Diamond Center as our primary source for Jewelry- even after moving to Spring Hill. Trust me, the trip is VERY worth it.

This review took a while to write because, well, life gets in the way, but everyday I look at my beautiful rings and am reminded that I need to share my wonderful experience with everyone in Tampa Bay. My fiancé and I went in with jewelry from our families, and we just wanted to see how we could incorporate them into an engagement ring and wedding band that is sentimental and not just a “blinging” diamond. Between Marco, Patrick and Dylan we received specifically designed rings that have so much meaning to me and my fiancé (and yes all 3 of them worked with us individually)! We went to this store about 15 years ago and had a ring made and were impressed with the service and quality so when we decided to get my engagement ring stones set into a new setting we decided to come back and boy are we happy we did. We decided to have a custom ring made by Dylan and it is better than I could have ever imagined. The process of designing the ring was easy and fun and we definitely put poor Dylan through the ringer with questions and tiny changes here and there and every time he did exactly as we asked. I just picked up my ring and it is prettier than any name brand ring I have ever seen and cost us less than half of what they wanted for those rings. I honestly could not be more pleased! NY Diamond Center (29909 US Highway 19 N., Clearwater) is my new favorite place for all things jewels and custom jewelry, including repairs. I recently asked a different local custom jewelry store for a quote to repair a crack on the band of my sapphire and diamond wedding ring, then stopped into NY Diamond Center for a second quote. Master Jeweler Mario Ricaurte fixed and even polished my ring for a FRACTION of the cost that the first custom jewelry store quoted for the same repair. I felt very comfortable as soon as I walked in the door at NYDC, and will definitely be back whenever I’m looking for a new piece of jewelry or need an existing piece repaired.

To me, finding an experienced, honest jeweler is like finding a doctor you can trust. It takes time, trial and error, research and sometimes, a word-of-mouth referral. Such was the case with me. A friend knew I was looking for a jeweler with whom I could build a long-term relationship and suggested I visit New York Diamond Center. Despite being an hour from my home, I decided to take the trip, and I was very happy I did. The store is intimate, and the attention I received from the owner and his team was personalized. The business is family owned and operated, and I was treated like a family member. I never felt pressured during my visit. I wasn't rushed or treated as though I were "next." The quality of NYDC's inventory is superb; they can custom make anything to your specifications, and their prices are competitive. This was such a pleasant, refreshing experience for me, and I'm sure it will be the same for others who visit. The NYDC can count me among their "regulars" for a long time to come.

I visited New York Diamond center today and one thing has never changed . They have been and still are the greatest people to deal with . When I was pregnant into my third trimester, my fingers were super swollen, to the point where my wedding band and engagement ring was impossible to take off. I came in one day, was welcomed by the friendly staff and owner, told them what had happened and right away, they were able safely remove both rings with minimal damage to them. When the swelling finally settled, I went back to store and they were able match the shade of rose gold for the add on just perfectly and repair it like brand new! I definitely would go back and highly recommend New York Diamond Center!

The first time I went to the NY Diamond Exchange is to sell some gold jewelry I did not wear anymore. The employees and owner treated me with dignity and respect and gave me a competitive price. Another time I brought in a 14kt gold watch to be fixed. I had several people in GA and in FL "fix" the watch and charge an absorbent amount of money only to have it stop working after just a few weeks. These guys are amazing! My rings are stunning and custom made! I showed them what I liked, they created images of what it would look like, made a 3D printed WAX ring for me to try on, and even set stones in the settings to see if I liked the size/color of the stones. They are quick and efficient and super friendly. The ring was actually probably CHEAPER than the normal stores and was exactly what I wanted. I can’t recommend them enough!
