    Originally purchased a patio table from outlet store in Tinley Park on Sunday April 10th for 130 dollars. Was told shipping was 89 dollars or free if you spend 500 or more. Paid shipping charge. Then went to store in Orland Park and purchased 6 chairs for 388 dollars 59.99 each. We were able to get the orders combined to be shipped together. The next day i realized the order was now over 500 and qualified for free shipping. I tried calling customer service and got a message to leave a message and they would call back withen 24 hrs. That never happened so on Wednesday the 13th I stopped back at the Orland store and asked a sales person sbout getting a credit for the shipping since it was over 500 dollars. I was told by the sales person that free shipping didn't kick in until you spent 800 dollars. When the delivery arrived on the 15th the chairs all had 49.99 price tags on them. On the 18th I stopped back at the Orland store to inquire about the price difference. The sales person said the price tags were from last year and the warehouse should have removed them. I spoke to a nanager and told him my story. He said the delivery should have been free after 500 dollars and the price for the chairs should be 49.95 not 59.95. He adjusted the total and credited us 60 dollars. After the adjustment the total went under 500 so we paid the delivery charge. This entire mess makes me not want to purchase from American Sales again

    Update: The response to this review was that the trees were opened and used. We did open them and set them up but the quality was not good. You could see right through the Christmas trees meaning that they are a cheap product for a high price. I had them for two days and called and asked I could return them. The manager said yes, but never mentioned a restocking fee and had already left for the day. I had to return the following day to again return the trees and take a $500 fee for their lousy product. This review will remain here until you make the decision to do the right thing. Restocking fee. What a joke. There was absolutely nothing wrong with what I returned and I have to pay almost $500 to return it? Crazy

    I was assisted by Jamie, Brandon, and Nigel. They were very helpful and went out of their way to assist me with questions regarding Halloween props. I volunteered letting them all know I’d leave a good review for all the help. I wanted to take the time to thank them, and hopefully they get recognition for the awesome job. Thanks again guys.

    : This was our first experience with American Sale outlet in Tinley Park. I was very impressed with their professionalism and would definitely recommend them. We live 45 minutes away so I called before making the trip. Nigel answered the phone and listened carefully as I explained that I was looking for a rectangular patio table and the size I needed. He checked stock while I was on the phone. He explained the options, gave me a price and even sent pictures to my email! When we arrived, he greeted us and showed us the options. Condition and price were exactly as he quoted. He was able to discount the table a bit further and even accepted a store coupon. He wrapped it carefully and single handedly loaded it into our mini van. It was a pleasure dealing with Nigel and it was definitely worth the trip!

    Horrible, the salesman that was helping me, his name was Brandon. His coworker hollers across that someone was there to pick-up a liner. He did not excuse himself from me say I will be back nothing just walked away and I was asking a question regarding the swing they had. I was out done. I will be complaining about this business. NO Stars

    Was given a three hour delivery window. Currently I am an hour past. Outlet store is closed. Customer service delivery goes to voicemail and says they will call back in 24 hours. No word from driver or anyone else. Horrible after sale service! 😡😡😡

    I purchased a swing at the outlet store today. I had been call Nigel for several weeks to see if he had one in stock. He was always so pleasant. He even took my number and called me when came in. If your looking for someone who cares about his customers ask for him. Even his staff is an A+ from the cashier to the men that loaded it into my car. I’m so glad i chose to shop here! Keep up the great customer service. 😊

    I ordered a swim spa 15 months ago. It finally arrived. American sales allowed me to swim in their model once a week while waiting for mine. We consider the staff like friends. When mine came, the guys did a great job! It’s a heaving piece and they put it together beautifully and in the correct spot! Thank you American Sales!

    Ordered the Lemax Mrs Clays’ Kitchen. It showed up quick but was missing the 4.5V power supply and also missing the sign board. Found a suitable power supply at home and the unit has motion but no music. Disappointed with this purchase.

    Went there to pick up my online order..I called the store in Timely and was told I could just go there, give my web order number and pick it up. When I got there I explained what I was told and the nice young girl behind the window gave my order printout to a much older warehouse worker. I forgot his name but he was very rude making a comment out loud saying " you can't just show up to get your order" Even after I explained what I was told. I gave the girl the name and number to the store. She was very kind and understanding that it wasn't my fault. But the guy in the warehouse needs to be trained on how to interact with customers.

She provided excellent care from beginning to end & had a replacement shipped out which I received less than a week later. I really appreciate her attention & care.

    This place has items at amazing value, and Ashley was incredibly helpful. She is very knowledgeable about items, she was patient with all our questions and took items out of the boxes for us to review before purchasing. She made the whole experience very surprisingly enjoyable. At a time in retail where it seems like nobody wants to do their jobs, this place is a model of what outstanding customer service is supposed to be. We will be back. And, as long as you don't rush in and buy things I was planning on buying, you should head over there too!

    Thank you Lauren K, we needed a replacement socket for one of our nativity figurines and you guys seem to have been the only place in America that had this thing in stock we actually searched the internet my wife and I high and low looking for a replacement socket we found your location but prior to that we found a location in China who promised us they could deliver it by next Christmas mind you this post is being written the day after Thanksgiving and we were trying to order this thing several days before Thanksgiving in time to put up our outdoor decorations thanks again Lauren K!!!

    My Hot Springs Flair hot tub needed a new circulation pump. Jennifer in service was very helpful to schedule my service. Service Tech Tony Sullivan was very good. He was able to answer all of my questions and replaced the circulation pump in about 10 minutes. American Sale has always taken care of my hot tub with any issues I've had. Would recommend buying one from them.

    BUYER BEWARE!! I would give it zero stars if I could but the system doesn’t allow you to. We bought an outdoor patio at the Tinley outlet location. We got sold a bill of goods, as they had marketed this patio set to be supposedly over 6k original price and we thought we were scoring big time with end of year sale for 2k! It was important to us to buy a table that was low maintenance and can sustain being left outside year round with proper protection. They made all kinds of claims about their most durable table that was so enduring it supposedly didn’t need any kind of protection or care and would be able to sustain all kinds of turbulent weather. It was an extremely heavy table, but since they claimed it was so durable, we were not concerned with not having indoor storage. However, we did not want to take any chances, so we thought we were doing our due diligence by buying a protective winter cover for it during purchase. A year later, we were devastated to see our table deteriorate horribly. After futile endless efforts of being unresponsive and being ignored and getting bounced around between different departments dealing with what they blamed high employee turn over for over a year, we finally got referred to corporate management. By this time, our warranty was for sure way over since they took so long in engaging with us on a resolution and taking us seriously. They came back to tell us that they were making an exception for us and doing us a favor and that the best they can do is to replace the table that would require high maintenance of yearly recaulking and storing inside, which is something we expressed since the beginning that we couldn’t accommodate since we don’t have the space. When we kept reminding them of that, and asked for some kind reasonable credit to apply to a more adequate table to meet our needs since we were not properly informed when we first made the purchase, they profusely refused. They came back and said that we only paid $300 for the table, since they sold it as a set, the bulk of the bill was for the chairs. They were very firm and called it a final resolution. We feel extremely deceived and felt we were treated very unjust for their poor compensation and the worst customer service I have ever seen. I would look elsewhere or get every thing in writing, signed and get an itemized receipt that not just shows the total, but that shows exactly what you’re paying for. It’s not until something goes wrong that you realize it’s worth paying more elsewhere for much better customer service that serves your needs instead of wasting so much more money to replace their broken poor quality furniture since they do not handle customer complaints fairly. We also just learned that we were lied to about employees not being there anymore that we would speak to, making it very difficult to have any kind of consistent follow up on the issue.

    Worst Company Ever! I'm beyond fed up with being ignored and lied to! Been waiting over a year for them to replace the topside on my hot tub with the correct topside. They installed the wrong one and it died in only a few months. Their game is to continue to ignore you until you give up and pay for your parts yourself because you're tired of waiting. Several times while on the phone with Justin the repair manager at corporate he expressed to me that he is terrible with getting back to people. Then quit your job, you don't belong in customer service! After 20 plus voicemails over 4 months and a dozen stops into the store, I'm ready to protest outside their building. When I spend over 6k on a hot tub for pt for my family I expect it to work. When a part goes out under warranty I expect it to be resolved properly in a timely manner. When you say my part will be in on a particular date, I expect a call to verify that. Not to be ignored and never called back for months! American Sales does NOT care about their customers! Buyer beware!

    The gentleman that helped me (Brandon I believe his name is ) was very accommodating. I’m like a lot of customers out there who don’t have a problem spending money but wants to feel like the $$ they spent was well worth it. That’s not just the product but the customer service as well. This employee was so personal and attentive that I ended up buying a new outdoor patio set in addition to what I initially went there for. I will continue to come back with service like this.     Delivered a load to them. Took them 1.5 hours to unload 8 skids and 1.5 hours to find the paperwork. I had to go inside and chase them down for the proof of delivery. They either don’t care about outside drivers, or they are just lazy.

    I was skeptical on ordering from this company because a couple of bad reviews. However I’m glad that I did. I saw some aqua flow play Intex Kids mask at a resort in Florida. They wanted $20 a mask and I found them online here for $7.88 each. I had my order in three business days not paying any additional expedited shipping costs. Elena packaged my purchase with care. Would definitely recommend buying from this retailer and the masks.

    Thanks American Sales. I had been looking for this Santa 🎅🏾 and Mrs Clause for a long time. I ordered my Santa without a problem. However, Mrs Clause appeared to be out of stock. I contacted your company and chatted/emailed with Hildy who informed me to keep trying. I want to thank Hildy so much because I was finally able to get her.     Do not order anything from this place. I ordered six days ago, they processed my order, said I would get a message for pickup in 24-48 hours (Since they are closed on Sundays) and have been calling ever since. They don't answer the phone most of the day at the warehouse, it's an endless phone circle and then they hang up. After a different answer each day, I was told today, after they accepted my order and processed my order and debited my bank, that I am "in line" to receive the product, that it's in high demand and it's coming from somewhere else. No idea where. No idea whether I would get it before Christmas.

    I have been trying to get my hands on some of the lemax figurines for quite a while now. But they are always sort of expensive at the craft store near me. I found American sale online from lemax’s authorized sellers and the price was comparatively lesser and they also had a wider collection. Except for the shipping which was around ($17 minimum through fedex) I like the ones I ordered for Halloween and Christmas ✨ yes they are tiny, the figurines but Lauren K did a great job of packaging it and I received them without any damage. The best of my order was the Christmas carols figurines.. just perfect 👌 If the shipping is made free through usps in the future I will be placing more orders :)

    I have bought two pools and I shop there numerous times not only for pool supply’s but holiday decorations. I love this place. I have always gotten excellent service in the 20 years I have been shopping there. Lauren K works at the warehouse and always does an excellent job packing my orders. Also Tom has been so helpful with the purchase of my pools. Love this company. They do a great job.

    I was looking for a vacume for my hot tub . I was looking for something small , easy to use and enough power to do the job. I feel as though I got it and I was happy to receive it fast. Lauren K. At American Sale receives a 5 star for Efficiency & Customer service. The product receives a 4 star because I wish it was made with a little thicker gage plastic housing . Because I really am happy with it and hope it lasts .
