I recently moved to Tinley Park. I was looking for a Church near my new home and also to baptize my son. I called in after an online submission was never answered, I spoke to Stephanie. I never received a call back regarding the 1st , 2nd , or 3rd inquire. I advised them my son was conceived IVF because my partner and I are both women. I finally decided to call and ask her if there was an issue with my son getting baptized as she kept telling me to find another church. She then told me yes that father didn’t want to baptize my son for that reason. If that was the case from the start that was fine but why ask who the father of my son was, and personal questions you don’t ask about a child. When receiving a sacrament what does the sins of a parent matter. My sins are mine not my sons. I would never go to this church because of the lack of ethics and professionalism from the only person as she stated working in the office. This was in February it is now May I have yet to receive any updates. I don’t care if the discrimination was against me I’m an adult but this is a baby. It is sad to see this but not surprised.

What a wonderful church. Now that father Michael is there to replace and correct all the damage done by the prior priest. The cancer mass was back to being so wonderful and so moving.

I love this parish! The people are friendly and welcoming. The priests are amazing and we have many deacon families. The church and daily chapel are beautiful places to pray. They have many programs, including Scripture study, CCD for kids, vacation Bible school, many service clubs, and a teen center under construction. Also has a Mass in Polish on Sunday.

Been our parish church but a required $200 for a baptism is a little steep, plus the lady who took our information was rude and never called us back even after weeks. We're transferring parish plus our online donations. Service is good, just their office staff needs some refresher.

This church is the worst. Very mean priests and terrible religious ed program. I will make and effort to never go here again after the way my family has been treated.

Love going to this church every Sunday, plus, they've handled the COVID situation very well.

I love the church itself, but they have the most terrible sound system. I can't make out the words during the homily or the sermons. The sound is muffled and echoey. Your not supposed to go to church to read out of the mass book. I see many many people reading, which means they cannot hear anything either. Most of the parishioners are older, so they may have hearing problems to begin with. Hearing what is being said is a big part of the experience of going to mass, not just receiving communion. I wish other people would complain so that they will have a sound man come in and try to fix the problem.

I grew up at this church, but after visiting other churches I've realized this church is extremely closed minded & just not a good church.

I always look forward to visiting this parish whenever I visit relatives in the area. Great place for prayer and mass.

St. Stephen's is a beautiful parish. The liturgies are wonderful. The priests care deeply about their parishioners. This is an outstanding place to go to Mass and receive the sacraments. Highly recommend!

Best music ever!!! It keeps us coming for sure. We even clap at the end of Mass because it is so uplifting. Thank you! It keeps the younger generation engaged too.
