It’s rare that I take the time to give an online review. Mathnasium is worth the time. We’ve tried another math center so I had something to compare to. There is no comparison. Our experience with another center in town was rigid, unfriendly, and full of repetitive worksheets. This place saved us. Our kids actually ASK to go after school. I have to go in and get them because they never want to leave. The owner makes the difference, as with any business. Always starts at the top. Michael Tran, is as good as they come. He knows the schools, the teachers, the test scores, the parents. He’s fun, and engaging. He even gave me his cell phone and checks in to see how we are doing! The teachers are the best we’ve worked with. Our boys (10th and 7th grade) are always telling us how smart their teachers are, all the fancy math degrees they have, and how cool they are! They make math fun and they take the time to get to know our kids. We’ve had many conversations at dinner about what they learned in math, which definitely never happened before Mathnasium. I have recommended them to everyone we know. When I have an experience like this, I’m taking the time to write a review. Thank you Michael Tran and Mathnasium for getting our boys excited about math again!!

My daughter has gained so much from Mathnasium of Norman! She has learned new skills, tips and tricks, as well as a significant increase in her over overall self confidence when approaching math topics. The staff and tutors at Mathnasium of Norman are always professional and courteous and treat my daughter with the utmost respect at all times. We are very blessed to have such a wonderful center in Norman!

Derek, the owner, along with Matt the Center Director, and their staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with the students. The staff is extremely gifted in math as well as other STEM subjects. But most importantly, they teach kids with care and respect! Way to go guys!

My child is excelling at math thanks to Mathnasium of Norman. At a recent parent teacher conference, my child's teacher complimented him on how much his math skills had improved. Michael and his team are great with the students. We do online sessions and it has helped my child's confidence in the classroom quite a lot.

Mathnasium is a great center for any grades and levels of children to learn math. My son enjoys going there. Because of their support, my son is able to take upper grade math in middle school. Micheal (Center Director) and Staff are very nice and kind. Their staff make my son comfortable; therefore, anytime my he needs help, he can ask without hesitation. They will help out until he completely understands. They have put great effort into assisting students to transit to online sessions when the city was locked down. Now my son enjoys online sessions too.

My three sons attended Mathnasium for 2 years. Michael and is staff were great. My children had attended Kumon in the past and had a terrible experience. I was hesitate to enroll them in Mathnasium. Everyone at Mathnasium made my children’s experience there positive. They have excelled in math. It is one of their strongest subjects. I would not hesitate to enroll them again. Thank you Mathnasium-Norman for coming alongside us and helping my student through a successful year. For those of you who know anything about being in the military moving is not always easy for the student, but to our student what this center has done is a "miracle." Not only did you all build courage and deescalated anxiety for my student, but you brought peace in our home. As students struggle so do parents and I thank you, our family thanks you. I am grateful for the center director, Michael and his staff. They are always there to help both parents and students. My son is now in 8th grade. He sometime does his homework at the center and they are there to help any questions.

My children feel 100% more confident in their math skills after attending Mathnasium. They were able to build a better understanding and fill holes in their foundation quickly and had fun while they were learning. The staff really wants my kiddo to do well. They are open to tutoring homework and concentrating on areas where help is needed. They are open to feedback and communicate very well with parents. We are lucky they are in our town!

I cant say enough good things about Mathnasium Norman. Michael and his team are top of the line. My daughter's confidence has soared because of the patient tutors that worked with her 3x a week. Her math skills grew exponentially and we have no more tears during homework and she is able to work more independently at home.

We originally sent my son to Mathnasium to help him prepare for 8th grade algebra. The tutors and instruction were key to his success and critical in building math confidence. We kept him there through the pandemic and online school and the support helped him continue to thrive! Michael, the owner, is great at communicating with our family about our son's progress. Mathnasium is great for whatever math support your child may need at any stage of their education.
