I have been to Memphis a number of times, but only after completing the Tour of Possibilities did I experience Memphis. Ms. Jackie was amazing... from singing, to deep knowledge, and great connections with each person on the tour, she did her thang. I'm so glad I did this early in my visit as I now have so many great Memphis treasures to explore. I feel less like a tourist because I saw first hand how Memphians live.

EXCELLENT! We are thrilled to write a review for the EXCEPTIONAL service we received on a city tour with A Tour of Possibilities (ATOP). The tour was made all the more wonderful by our amazing guide, Queen. Her warm and friendly demeanor immediately let us know we were in for a treat. Queen’s uplifting energy and vast amount of knowledge truly made the experience unforgettable. We saw Memphis with great enthusiasm, which helped us come away with a much deeper understanding of the history and significance of this amazing city. Thank you for sharing the information of those who created this rich culture and for an amazing tour. We highly recommend ATOP for anyone visiting or living in Memphis. Line Dance Group - California

Amazing example of the old growth virgin forests of the early US. Also, the work the city has done to protect this forest from development is outstanding! This old growth forest has many trails to explore, trees to see, and wildlife to watch. A must for any nature lover.

This is part of the amazing Memphis zoo. The zoo is a great place to visit while in Memphis. They just had the birth of a sloth, giraffe and baby hippo! Truly one of the best zoo's in the US. Next to the zoo is Overton park which has some good trails for hiking, running (there is a paved path), biking (on the small end) and walking your dog.

Utterly wonderful tour! Our tour guide, Queen, treated her guests as friends and, with passion, she shared with us her deep reservoir of knowledge about Memphis, particularly its African American history. We learned so much more than the text books tell you. We cannot recommmend this tour more highly. Thank you, Queen!!

Our guide Queen led an amazing tour all over Memphis this morning and gave us lots of history, stories, details, and music… all with a delightful side of humor! She kept my attention for 2 hours, and I feel like I have a much better understanding of the history and culture of the region! This is a not-to-miss tour!

We had a great time on the Memphis City tour, October, 2020. Queen, as she likes to call herself, did a great job with her COVID aware caravan organization. The technical aspects for car to car communication were flawless. She conducts a safe car caravan. She has an extensive knowledge of the history of Memphis, and explains it all very well. This was an excellent start to our short trip to this Blues City. Thank you Queen!

We can’t recommend this amazing tour enough. We were lucky to get the owner Queen as our tour guide. Her optimism for Memphis and spirited description of the history and progress in the city was contagious. She is such a wealth of information that I had to take notes to ensure I could come back to some of the stories she told us to learn more after the tour. Worth your time and worth your money.

If you are ever in the Menphis area please make sure you take part in this tour. We had an amazing guide Mr. Jarvis....Jarvo was very knowledgeable of Memphis history. I only regret I did not have additional time to spend touring the city and partaking in some of recommendations we received. Thanks again Jarvis...it was a pleasure to meet you... Do yourself a favor and take this Marvelous tour with Jackie! Why should you take this tour?See Memphis through another lens. Who is this tour for? This tour is for anyone who wants to learn about the African American history of Memphis. When should you go?Now….don’t miss the opportunity to do this tour with family, friends, co-workers, etc. What makes this tour so special? Jackie Murray is a one-woman tour guide “conductor” that brings Memphis history to life through sight, sound, games, but it is so much more! You will walk away feeling mostly prideful in the African American culture. You will walk away with a wealth of knowledge. You will appreciate knowledge in an entertaining way. All roads really do lead to Memphis……. I just couldn't let my wife give this review alone. In one word "impactful". From the introduction we were made to feel like "VIP's . Jackie Murray is a talent to behold. Her knowledge and passion for the city of Memphis showed in her deliverance. The details of the stories matched the tour perfectly. We were fully engaged. The time my wife and I spent on this tour was unforgettable. We will look back on this for years to come. Thank you, Jackie good luck to you in the future because it bright!

AMAZING!! Queen presented a remarkable black experience. The tour was excellent and the audio effects along the route made the presentation come alive. Not only did I learn about black history and Memphis but I also learned of great eateries within the City. The food at Alcenia's was off the chain. Thanks for the recommendation. Looking forward to returning to Memphis. Thank you, ATOP & Queen!

You ABSOLUTELY cannot visit Memphis without experiencing this tour!!! The wealth of knowledge that Jarvo gave still has me in awe and speechless!! You will NOT be disappointed. This tour was worth every penny and then some! It’s so important to learn about our ancestors and the trials and tribulations that were experienced; how we overcame and are still overcoming! Can’t wait to visit again!

This was a great tour. We were in Memphis to start the Civil Rights trail, and I am so glad that we started our trip with Queen's tour! It set the tone for our entire stay in Memphis, and our whole family came away with a much better understanding of the lasting impact of slavery, Jim Crow laws, the Civil Rights era, and eventual mass emigration on challenges still faced by the city today. Queen's tour was jam packed with stories of notable people and places, both past and present, thought-provoking conversation, book recommendations, and soul music. She brought the landscape to life and showed us buildings and neighborhoods that would have otherwise remained unknown to us. Queen loves Memphis and showed us so many positive things that are happening such as collective food gardens, public artwork, and African American owned businesses throughout the city. We saw the temple where MLK gave his last and famous Mountaintop speech, the street where Coretta Scott King led a march with the sanitation workers after MLK's assasination, and the I Am A Man monument, and when my family visited the Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Motel days later, we were so glad that we had done Queen's tour first due to the context it provided. My teens, husband and I highly recommend this tour!

Great tour with the "Queen"! She greeted each one of us with a big hug to start and her personal touch continued throughout by taking family photos, answering any and all questions, and she seemed to know every person we met along the way. Queen provided a lot of historical information that we continued to expand upon during our remaining days in Memphis. Well worth your time to take this tour.

Ms. Carolyn was a God-send! I found ATOP on Google when looking for a tour guide for our family reunion in Memphis. Ms. Carolyn was the most responsive and professional vendor out of ALL the different type of businesses we had interactions in Memphis. Not only was she knowledgeable about the history and locations for the tour of Memphis she connected us with resources we needed for the reunion. Ms. Jackie was our tour guide, she was very energetic, knowledgeable, and had a lovely voice. She was also flexible with us when we had a mishap with our bus not operating properly and did not get to do the full tour. I highly recommend using ATOP!!! Would use them again in a heartbeat!

History certainly shapes and influences it's people. This tour does an excellent job decribing Memphis' past, present and future. So informative... LOVED IT. I stongly recommend this to anybody visiting Memphis. The tour is upbeat with certainly some serious moments. But does not dwell. There is a nice blend of musical references, stories and accurate historical facts. The Van was very comfortable with of course much needed AC. Queen lived up to her name !

This is such a great tour! I learned so much about the history of Memphis, and things about the African American history of Memphis that you don't always learn. Everybody should go in this tour. They are doing a great job even though times are tough. The car caravan was a lot of fun! It's easy to get your phone hooked up to your Bluetooth and listen as she talks. And it's definitely easy to follow the vehicle. Hopefully these tough times are over soon, but in the meantime go support them!
