    Worst experience I’ve ever had. On June 13th I searched all nearby local stores looking for a bedroom set. After some choices I found it available in St Louis. I was moving in to a new place with zero furniture, so this was important to me. I selected my move in date which was 6 days away. I paid and got a confirmation that said the store will call me the next day to verify delivery. 3 days passed so I called the store and was told we call the day of for deliveries. Fine. Day of delivery I get a call at 0950, the gentlemen tells me delivery will be from 12-8pm. He also said be sure to answer your phone or they will bring it back to the store. 7pm- still no call so I tried calling the store. The automated answer kicked on then transferred me and hung up. It did this until after 8 pm. Sunday morning I call but still get disconnected. I called corporate customer service who sent an email to the store. The gentleman was very apologetic and said the drivers told him all was delivered. He was so sorry he canceled the delivery fee and would have it out first thing Monday morning. Well it’s Monday, at noon I called the store who then told me they had to go to another store to pick up because they didn’t have it. I wonder how they loaded it Saturday. What a pack of worthless liars. Simply say you don’t have it and move on. I wish I could give negative stars.

    The living room set we wanted was not in stock. 28 days after paying for the purchase we chose a different set because ours was still not available. I asked to have the delivery fee waived, the store manager Nick stated he provided a refund to offset the cash delivery charge. In actuality the refund was simply the price difference between the furniture we paid for, and the furniture we settled on. Terrible service, the furniture quality is fair; I won’t return.

    came in here looking for couches, found the one we wanted, and dion (one of the associates) was able to help us by loading up our uhaul and setting us up. we appreciate all the help on our move day. they should get more a/c for all their hard work!

    I want to share the experience my sister and I had with Terrell. We wanted to purchase multiple couches and beds. We were greeted by Terrell and once we told him what we needed he stated, "I got you!" :) He absolutely gave us the best customer service and made purchasing the furniture a smooth process. I would recommend American Freight and specifically Terrell for the best prices in St. Louis hands down. You won't be disappointed! Terrell GOT YOU!! :)

    Got my dream sectional last night, after many obstacles on how to get it home, Charles helped me out with getting delivery. He is very kind, knowledgeable and funny! If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask him! To get the couch I had waited almost 3 months to hear back on my manufactures warranty, but he was able to push it through so I could upgrade my sofa to the dream sectional.

    STAY AWAY Horrible customer service/communication. I Purchased a dishwasher and was told it would be delivered and installed on Wednesday. I then get a call that now it won't be delivered until Saturday. I was told I would be given a 3 hour window to make the plans so I took my Saturday off. Friday comes and I still haven't been given my time slot so I call the store, Andrew tells me he will return my call and give me my slot. He calls back and lets me know that it will be sometime between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.. Yeah not a 3 hour time slot but a 9 hour time slot. Saturday morning comes and I call the store to see if they could give me somewhat of a better time frame and then they inform me I need to call the install company personally. I call the install company and they said they had no install scheduled for today because my dishwasher hasn't been delivered to the store yet. I informed them I bought the model at the store so I didn't require a delivery to the store, just the install/delivery at my home. He informs me I need to call the store back. I call the store back and speak with the manager Richard, and he tells me he will look into it and get back with me. 2 o'clock comes and still no answers and half my Saturday gone. Horrible and I mean horrible customer service barely even an apology I canceled my order and will take my business elsewhere. It's clear why Sears couldn't make it. (Fenton location)

    I purchased my bed on 10/21/2022. The bed was $349, however after taxes, insurance & delivery my total was $700. When putting together the bed, I noticed I only had 8 out of 12 of a certain screw I needed. I have now been back up to American Freight 3 times for the correct screws and each time they are incorrect and do not fit. I even brought the correct screws for them to compare!! My mattress is STILL on the floor as of today (11/17/22) because of this issue. I spoke with the manager on Friday (11/11) and was told to email her pictures so she could assist, & never got a response back. I was even told on the phone by her to just go to a hardware store & get screws myself. Why would I do that when I just spent $700 on a $349 bed???? The customer service has been terrible & I will NEVER be spending another dime with this company. Why should I keep burning gas to come up there when they can’t even fix the issue. At this point I don’t even want the bed anymore due to the issues I’ve dealt with, but was told all sales are final. Everyone I have talked to, has been of NO assistance to me. And my overpriced bed that I bought a month ago is still not properly put together. As of today (11/17), I brought all 4 slats and support beams up to the store and was given a bag of screws to look through myself. I FINALLY found 4 screws that fit and went home to put them on my bed. Get this…. THE SLATS ARE TOO SHORT AND DONT EVEN FULLY GO ACROSS THE BED. SO ALL OF THIS WAS FOR NOTHING!! 0 STARS!!!!!! This experience was TERRIBLE!

    This place is extremely unprofessional so my grandmother came and purchased a table she put 60.00 dollars down on the table in order for them to hold it for her, Upon coming up here today to finish purchasing the table we were informed that the table was on backorder...So I asked if she could could get a refund and we'll just take her somewhere else the so called supervisor started telling us about some policy that wasn't told to my grandmother the day she came up here, Im livid but more so livid because the so called supervisor did nothing to accommodate my grandmother he kept talking in circles..

    I have had a bad experience with not receiving all of my furniture that I’ve been waiting on since 8/16/20 I was told the dining table was going to be delayed until the 8/27/20 but still no answer of why the delay then I was told it shall be here the following week so I rented a uhaul truck and to find out 68 dollars down the drain because my dinette set still has not arrived her it is 10/2620 and no one can give me a call or anything of what’s going on with this order.so I went on line to seek the manufacturer of the dinette set model Valencia 92780 and they seemed to have it in stock with a delivery of up to six weeks of arrival time to my home address.also do take in consideration I just spent 3600.00 in cash of previous order.poor customer service is what I’m saying

    I’ve purchased from American Freight plenty of times in St.Charles. I purchased a bedroom set from the one on page and received a total different experience. Customer Service is very poor!!! I got the run around about my delivery date, and when the furniture was finally delivered; the wrong night stand was delivered. I called the next day and stated I received the wrong night stand, the sales person asked if I could bring it back and exchange. I told him no, I payed for delivery and I expected to get what I paid for. I really like my furniture however I will never purchase from this location again!

    This place was gross. People lounging on the furniture with shoes on. Smelled like urine. I'm pretty sure there was spit in one of the sectionals. Didn't see anyone who actually worked there, and if I did, they were interested in business. I'm not sure where all the good reviews came from, but good luck. Was in and out. Lots of kids running around and no parents doing anything. Ill pass

    Drew was super helpful and really nice. A true pleasure to work with on finding new appliances. He had all the information we requested and even suggested a better way to configure our way to put on layaway with just $1 to lock in the price. We need to measure to ensure the new appliances will fit. We will then return and purchase from DREW!!!

    We found an amazing deal on a sectional, dresser, and chest; paid under $2k with delivery, which was better than just the price of a sectional anywhere else we went. Terrell was the associate who helped us and despite being extremely busy, being the only person working to help customers in store & on the phone WHILE ON VACATION, gave phenomenal service. He was kind, honest, and very professional, would send anyone his way!

    Mike was awesome at the time we bought the furniture, however, after the purchase, the day of delivery we received a phone call from the manager stating that they could not deliver the bedroom set due to the drivers having Covid, which I knew was a lie and I asked him what was my 66 year old sister with Parkinson’s suppose to do and he stated there was nothing he could do, so we had to pay someone to come and pick it up. This is totally unacceptable to me and we will not be back to purchase anything or recommend this store. On top of that the living room set that we purchased could not be found in your other stores or warehouse, again had to get our money back and I find this unacceptable also. This was not on Mike performance on the day we came in

    The staff was super friendly I felt right at home with you guys. The manager tyrell went above and beyond is the perfect example of what a well trained manager should be.     I went in 2 months ago to order a couch and a matching chair. They said the couch would have to be ordered and would take a month or so to get there. So I agreed to financing it expecting it to be there in roughly a month. I called a month later and was told that they had my chair but not my couch and that it should be there later that week and they'd call me when it arrived. Didn't hear back from them so I called them the next week. A lady picked up and said she'd have to look into my order and would give me a call back. She never did call back so I called back up there the next day and was told that it was at another location and that the gentleman would call the other store and get back to me. He did call back and left me a voicemail saying he'd call me back the next morning once he could talk to the manager at the other store. He never called back. I called back up there again and the same gentleman from before told me he'd call me back after hearing from the other store. He never called back so I finally called one last time just to be told that the furniture is discontinued after I already made a payment and waited 2 months.

    Bought a mattress at the Fenton location they didn't have it in stock but this location did. So I decided to go pick it up they knew I was coming I got here close to 30min before they was supposed to close but yet the lights are off and no one here so for that this place needs to deliver my mattress I done wasted enough time and money coming to get it I shouldn't have to waste more because these people don't know how to abide by the store hours and screw me over when they know I'm on my way

    In-store we had a wonderful experience and great customer service, but apparently that goes out the door the second you leave. Every day we were ASSURED our stuff would be delivered. That they were so sorry and we would absolutely be the first delivery that day. For days straight and it never happened. Every time they say they’ll call the delivery team and get back to us, we never hear back. On top of that, they sold a table we had already purchased and then proceeded to never deliver the items we still had. No one would ever give us answers and we were then told to just pick it up if we wanted it so bad. If we had the means to transport a washer, dryer and a couch we wouldn’t have utilized the delivery service in the first place. This has been the most frustrating and exhausting experience waiting all day every day in hopes they might actually show up because nobody could give us any solid information.

    Armani was very helpful and knowledgeable !! AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE, I will definitely be back to shop with her again. The manager Kariem was very disrespectful throughout the entire buying process. You could smell that he had been drinking alcohol before approaching us. It was the cursing , smell of alcohol and unprofessionalism that would turn everyone away!!! Thanks to Armani for staying professional and helping me with my buying experience.

    I went in today and Kariem did a great job helping me out. Good customer service. But it stopped at him. Because when it came time for delivery horrible communication skills. Had me waiting all day on my delivery date for furniture that didn’t come. I called nobody could get me answers it was like pulling teeth to find out anything

    I have to give it up for this place. I made a furniture layaway last year and put money down on it. Well needless to say i didn't check on it for several months. I recently went back to check on it figuring I'd lost my deposit. They still had my layaway active and I'll be able to get my furniture. I'm very happy about this company.

    I ordered some end tables from the Cahokia IL , to come to find out 3 weeks later that those tables had been discontinued. I went to the store off Page Ave in St. Louis were I was greeted by Drew I was returning a chair that was damage and he let me swap my chair out for one of the chairs he had in the store. Not only that I told him the issue I had with the ends tables I ordered from Cahokia location that was discontinued and Drew was nice enough to help me find some tables in his store and was able to order them on top of that gave me excellent discount for me waiting on a discontinued item. Drew customer service was great 👍🏽

    My experience at American Freight store 97 was amazing !!! Terrell was awesome. Once we walked in he let us know he would be with us as soon as he can as he was already busy with other orders; which was totally fine as I looked around. Once he got to us he made us feel super comfortable and answered every question I had on finding the perfect couch for my new home! He helped me understand the promotions they have at this location and made everything stress free and FAST! I literally found my couch and was in and out. Now that’s fast and amazing service !! He is awesome!

    I bought the most beautiful bedroom set from American Freight furniture store # 00097 this week. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME IN THE STORE AND I MUST SAY THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT! THE SALES PERSON JAMES TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN THE QUALITY & MAKE OF EACH PIECE OF FURNITURE THAT I POTENTILY WANTED TO BUY. I WAS ALSO REFERRED TO A SEALY MATTRESS . AND I MUST SAY... THAT WAS A GOOD CHOICE...... IVE BEEN SLEEPING LIKE A QUEEN EACH NIGHT!!!! ( WELL RESTED WHEN I GET UP IN THE MORNING) HOWEVER I DID RUN INTO A LITTLE SNAGED.... I PURCHASED A QUEEN SIZE BED AND THEY ACCIDENTLY SENT ME FULL SIZE FRAMES, THIS PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED WITH THE QUICKNESS THANKS TO SALES MANAGERS : TERRY DAVIS AND NICK ........WHOM EXPEIDITED MY MISSING QUEEN SIZES FRAMES TO BE ON THE NEXT LOADING TRUCK THAT WENT OUT FOR DELIVERY.     Terrell was a great help today. Previous rep sold me my furniture without having all the pieces in stock. I was ready to cancel the entire order but after Terrell reassuring that he could get me what I asked for but it would take a few weeks. He honesty of not having certain items and placing them on order. He was very knowledgeable about inventory, customer service was above and beyond. He really does care about the customer.
