This place has some of the best small plates in Vegas! I’ve been here twice and the food doesn’t disappoint. The lamb lollipops and brisket fried rice are especially delicious. Service was awesome and the house Bloody Mary comes with a fried pork belly topper. What’s not to like? Come hungry and leave happy.

So, so good. Quick friendly service. The rice is definitely a sharable portion. We visited 2 times. Order and share and eat your way thru this fun menu!

This was easily some of the BEST food we had during our time in Las Vegas. We split the brisket rice which I cannot recommend enough! We also got the bao buns & short rib dumplings which were also delicious and so flavorful. They have a ton of other small plates that also looks amazing. The service was super fast & very friendly as well. We will be back on our next trip!

If you're looking for amazing food, come here. Fun, Tapas style dishes, perfect for socializing and sharing a variety of food. We had the lamb lollipops, pork belly bao, short rib dumplings, and duck rolls. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor! Highly recommend all of it! Will definitely be coming back to sample more of the menu.

Lovely spot in a new local casino. No need to order anything else, just look at the posted pictures. LOBSTER fried rice is amazing. Beef brisket fried rice is also fantastic. Place is down to earth wholesome. Recommended it to my friends and family.

Where do I begin! TLDR- An absolute Vegas MUST, not negotiable and you won’t regret it. This place is one of the best places in Vegas. From their amazing bartenders to the rest of their staff, I have yet to come across any negatives. I have quickly become a regular here solely because of the amazing (seriously amazing) drinks and even better food. Every time, the food is cooked perfectly and they’re always looking at reinventing classics like their rice dishes. I’d recommend asking for their secret menu for surprising combinations that give you a bang for your buck. You’ll be back in no time! I promise it’ll be a staple in every Vegas trip you take from here on out!

There's a reason why 8 East is one of the best rated restaurants in Circa. Their food was delicious. Our favorite was sizzling noodles, followed by garlic chicken dumplings. Their Tokyo crepe was also good, but not in comparison to other items. Must visit if you're in Las Vegas Downtown!

I was looking for some good Asian food and boy did I find it here. The place was very busy but I got a seat at the bar right away. The bartender took care of me immediately. Since it was so busy, the food took a long time to come out, but what the heck, the bartender gave me any extra glass of wine on the house! The food was so delicious and flavorful. I enjoyed every bite. The prices were very reasonable for such good food and service. Highly recommend you try it out.

8 East at Vegas Circa Las Vegas, a city where dreams and neon lights intertwine, led me to a culinary haven called 8 East at Circa. This isn't just a restaurant; it's a testament to the city's relentless pursuit of the extraordinary. Jerry, our server, was a craftsman of hospitality. His service was swift, precise, and delivered with a warmth that only a genuine smile can convey. He navigated our gastronomic journey with the expertise of a seasoned maestro. But the excellence in service didn't end with Jerry. Chase, another ace in the deck, matched Jerry's prowess step for step. Together, they were a dynamic duo, ensuring our experience was nothing short of stellar. The culinary odyssey began with short rib dumplings, each a masterclass in flavor and texture. The brisket fried rice with fries was a rebellious twist on the traditional, a dish that boldly declared its uniqueness. Sipping on Sapporo on tap, the perfect foil to our meal, I mused over the simple joys of a well-crafted brew. And for those who prefer a different kind of fizz, yes, they serve Coke Zero. Then came the pièce de résistance – the pork belly bao. Chase and Jerry weren't just recommending a dish; they were introducing us to a revelation. To call it "sex on a plate" might sound like a culinary cliché, but it was anything but. It was a symphony of indulgence, a celebration of flavor that made you want to savor every bite, guilt-free. The speed and efficiency of service were remarkable. With Chase at the helm, our feast was before us in mere minutes, yet every dish felt like it had been prepared with hours of dedication. 8 East is more than a mere stop in Vegas; it's a destination. A place where each dish is a story, every server a storyteller, and the entire experience a chapter in the grand narrative that is Vegas. As someone who always sought the heart of a city through its food, I can say that 8 East is the beating heart of Vegas' culinary scene.

Happy Hour is a must at 8 East! The food was mouth-watering! It was all reasonably priced, and the portions were big enough for two. The pork belly tacos, chicken skinz, and chicken wings were all bomb! Jerry, our waiter was great! He took our before picture before we started drinking and our after once we got done drinking. We had to come back for an order of lobster fried rice to go. That fried rice hit the spot! 8 East, you will see us again!

Many restaurants were closing at 9pm or 10pm. We only decided to go here because they close at 11pm. It was so good we went back 2 nights in a row! We went pretty late, so we were able to be seated right away and the food came out quickly. Our favorites were definitely the lollipop lamb, short rib dumplings, lobster fried rice, and green tea tiramisu. All the other dishes we had were also very delicious, but if there's one dish that you have to get it's definitely the lamb. It had a nice spice to it, and was tender enough to bite through with my teeth - no knife needed. The only dish I might pass on is the cucumbers... it was good, but too much for only two people to share. The staff was friendly and fun. It has a noisy atmosphere, but in a good, fun way. Some reviews mention that the plates are small. Think of it more like tapas style - everyone orders a bunch of small plates to share. This was our favorite restaurant during our entire vacation!

This place is definitely a hidden gem within Fremont! Located inside Circa, we were relieved to find an authentic Asian cuisine. Food was awesome, beers and cocktails were great. Definitely recommending this place when you visit downtown Las Vegas. The staff were very friendly and attentive 😊

One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Service was impeccable, everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming, and food was brought out quickly. Every item we ordered was amazing, each time a new plate was brought out it was even better than the last. I highly recommend the Tokyo Crepe and the duck rolls.

We found 8 East tonight kind of by mistake. We were looking for a lighter meal for my 66 birthday. Glad we found you. The whole staff was great especially Landon. Thanks so much for your recommendations and the Thai Tea Creme Brule was very delicious. Thanks again.

8 East is in the Circa. The Circa is a new face in old Vegas that represents some of the Renaissance to the north end of the strip. It's a beautiful new marker and 8 East is a shining example of what the Circa has to offer. Chef Dan Coughlin brings forth Asian fusion in a big way with spectacular little dishes that are bursting with flavour and presented with Flair. The establishment is gorgeous inside with a wide open kitchen concept. Our server was incredible...extremely helpful with a great sense of humour. No complaints whatsoever. Every dish we tried was amazing. Oh...and be sure to end with dessert and the brioche bread loaf. It's a spin on the famous Korean dessert. Seems simple enough but it will blow your mind. Also, beautifully crafted cocktails! We were so impressed! 🤯😃

Omg, my wife and I didn't expect this little restaurant got tucked in the corner of circa was going to be this amazing. This place is underrated. We feel like just been to a michelin rated restaurant! You guys have to try the small dishes. They are around 12 bucks each. Taste is out of this world. And the services was just perfect. We would definitely come back again!

This place has great Asian fusion. There are a few dishes that might hit you wrong with the variety of sauces they use. Our noodle dish had a strong vinegar taste. For the most part the food is very good. Solid 4 Stars.

Got the brisket fried rice with chicken skewers. Very good. Wouldn't add the chicken next time because it wasn't white meat. My fault, I didn't ask. Service was excellent. The only complaint is the horrible chairs. Otherwise would have been a 5 stars. Please please reconsider the chairs.

We were excited to try this Asian tapas venue. Javier was a very attentive server and we enjoyed his recommendations. We ordered the following items: - Butter Mushrooms - Chicken Yakitori - Thai Beef Jerky - Short Rib Dumpling - Sizzling Shrimp - Brisket Fried Rice This was enough food for the two of us and it was absolutely delicious! My only constructive criticism would be to rework the green sauce that came with the chicken Yakitori. Aside from this minor element everything was a complete toot! Highly recommend!

One of my favorite spots at Circa. 8 East is an awesome place. Good atmosphere and great service all around. I come here frequently and never disappoints. I always get the wings and lamb chop lollipops. And it fills you right up. And for the wings snobs they’re solid.

Love it here! Suitable for vegetarians, even though at first glance the menu appears to be meat centric. Ask for the allergen menu and you can get lots of options for vegetarian/pescatarian. Everything is made to order, very well seasoned, and tastes so fresh. We got the Fried Rice with Vegetables, Bok Choy side, Sizzling Noodles with Tofu, and Mushroom Bao. The perfect crunch on the bok choy, tiny cubes of tofu that added great texture to the noodles, the flavor of the marinated mushrooms…everything was excellent. Very friendly service up at the bar, and a well made Singapore Sling to boot. Run don’t walk and you’ll probably see us there again 😂

Favorite Asian restaurant in Vegas. Everything that they make is very delicious. This is the same owners as the local favorite (Le Thai). So many amazing small plates that I keep coming back to try more. The noodle and rice bowls are also good filling portions.

My friends and I always come here to celebrate something. Last night it was a birthday. We eat 'sharing' style so we buy lots of dishes. All of this (minus our drinks) was around 80 dollars and it fed 3 of us. So a bit more than an average cost of a one person meal but it's worth every extra penny. 80÷3=26 Service is fast regardless of how packed it is. Food is always on point. Reservations are highly encouraged.

Great place to eat. Food was really good. Can’t give it a 5 star only because I’ve been to the far east and this is an American twist on Asian food. Definitely worth the try.

Nice place, good food but small portions. The boa buns were very small but tasty. The chicken wings were excellent. The chicken skins was just ok, may have should fried a bit longer. Hit it at happy hour, for a price break. I think it was 3:30 to 5:00.

Tried 8 East while visiting Las Vegas, the restaurant is located inside The Circa Hotel. The service was amazing, the good was out of this world and came out really quick. Luciano answer all our questions and recommend the best dishes and best drinks. A place to visit with the family or couples.

Wow!! What a treat for an upscale asian restaurant located in Circa Hotel & Casino! They are known for small/tapas plates, so I would recommend getting a few small things to taste. They each cost between $8-$16, pretty affordable, and are very different but delicious. We enjoyed the chicken wings, duck roll and ginger chicken pan-fried dumplings. Their hot tea was also delicious and brewed perfectly! Atmosphere is very modern and chic, staff was incredibly friendly. Get a sake bomb for $8 if you want a special treat!

We ate here in December and would fly back to Vegas just to come to this restaurant! The food, staff and service was incredible! 10/10 The staff were so friendly and it was amazing to see them all work together as a team to provide such great service and efficiency. The Thai Beef Jerky was the best thing we have ever tasted. Wow!! Thank you 8 East for a great experience! Keep it up

Simply the best meal I’ve ever had in Vegas. On or off the strip. This food is incredible. Everything we have was so delicious. The service was a little slow in the beginning, but once we were seated and had our waiter he was awesome and we got our food extremely quickly once we order. I cannot wait to return here every single time I come back to Vegas it is truly that good. Please take time out of your trip to head down to Fremont Street, check out the new circa resort, and eat at 8 East while you’re inside. You will never be disappointed with this food.

Conflicted since food is yummy but service is sucky. I didn't even come during prime hours ( after 1:30pm for lunch). It took 10 minutes to get acknowledged to get seated. The service was quite inattentive. The short rib dumplings were a little juicy. The Asian in me prefers vinegar than the horseradish sauce. They were tender. Surprisingly the green beans had a lot of meat to bean ratio. The green beans had. good "wok hey". The flavor profile of the food was food. It had a numbing flavor but not too spicy at all.

  • 5/5 Kim B. 9 months ago on Google
Overall really great food. The Dan Dan noodles were freaking amazing - it had a wonderful wok flavor to it. The brisket dumplings (not pictured) were good too- it’s not normally something I would order but the meat was delicious and the sauce on the bottom was horseradish-y. The buttered mushrooms were hit and Miss. The button mushrooms were sautéed in old oil or something but it was an off taste. But the other 2 kinda of mushrooms were really good. I would definitely come back here again. Our server was great too.

Wow the food was amazing with flavors out of this world!! The steak salad with waterfall sauce was beyond the best. Also had the Thai beef Jerky the flavor I can't say enough!! A must have. Our server Ricky Richardo made the best recommendations and was a joy to talk to and truly the best server we have had on Freemont!! 5 Star service. 5 Star environment. 5 Star food. Thanks Ricky we will definitely be back.

We wandered in after listening to music out on the street. So it was late night - close to closing. We had excellent service. The food came fast. It was fresh and flavorful. We split orders of brisket fried rice and crispy chicken skins. Great food at a decent price. We will definitely be back to try more menu items.

Both the food and the service were 10/10! I have not visited a restaurant in the entire city of Vegas as I have this one, the first time we went there, we went 3 days in a row. You just cannot go wrong!! Everything was SUPER delicious, the food came fast and all the staff is extremely nice and ready to go above and beyond to make you happy. I would definitely come here every time I go to Vegas & highly recommend it! My husband said their pad thai is the best he ever had in his life and he had hundreds of them, including in Thailand itself!!

  • 5/5 Justin W. 1 year ago on Google
I came for the Brisket Fried Rice which I read about on the Vital Vegas blog and it didn't disappoint. It was just me so I only got one dish but the other dishes that I saw looked great. I sat at the bar and the bar tender was great with friendly service and always keeping my water topped up. The decor felt both modern and homely. I'd come back here again.

As soon as the escalator arrived at the second floor in Circa, the aroma from 8 East beckoned us to try it. It’s a small, quaint restaurant and the tables were full so we took a seat at the bar. We had terrific service with the bartender right in front of us and very willing to offer suggestions and answer questions. The guys started off with a Sake Bomb - you drop a small cup of sake into the glass of beer and down the whole thing in one drink. It was certainly a cool experience and a lot of fun to watch! We ordered two small plates of dumplings to start. The food arrived quickly and had great flavor. The ginger chicken dumplings were ordered steamed, and the short rib dumplings were pan fried. Definitely make sure you spoon some extra sauce onto the chicken dumplings - it’s delicious! The dumpling dough on both types was a little firm for my tastes, but everyone else thought it was perfect. There is absolutely no question that the flavors inside the dumpling were fantastic! Next up was the pork belly bao. I am not a fan of pork belly so I didn’t try one, but the guys said they were absolutely delicious! They looked beautiful. We shared all of these plates along with a brisket fried rice. The rice was a huge hit! Super tasty and enjoyable. If you are in the mood for some great Chinese food, try this place for sure!

Food was fresh, fire, and fast! Service good! Drinks good! Happy hour good! Everything good! I think prices were nice for the portion/quality. The Duck Rolls were my least favorite (not bad! Just not my favorite).

Came to 8 East back in September while in Las Vegas for a concert. The food and service was worth the hype. The restaurant was busy with the dinner rush going on, but nevertheless the staff was attentive to our needs and the food came out quick and delicious. Looking forward to coming here again

The layout is so simple, but to the point in letting you know it's a fine Japanese cuisine you're getting! The atmosphere makes you feel like it's authentic Japanese with a modern touch. The food is to die for! The Brisket just fills you up with joy 😊 One final note is the music selection is modern trendy and excellent for when your dining in. Would come again!

The Lobster Fried Rice was great! I'm not usually a big rice person, as it's usually a side or filler but this rice was delicious, perfectly cooked and I couldn't get enough of it. The Pork Belly Bao buns were also some of the best I've had.

Great Asian (Chinese) food served judging as an Asian who knows what is good and where to get find food. Service is first-class as all the waiting staff has been very attentive. I suggest adding the draft beers simply because they make better sense. Strongly recommending the lamb chops.

  • 5/5 Ciccy M. 2 years ago on Google
Great tasting food overall. A bit on the expensive side tho. Lobster fried rice was $60 (market price). Our server was great, very knowledgeable about the food they offer and he was very attentive.

  • 4/5 Liam L. 1 year ago on Google
Good food, service friendly, sometimes a bit too pushy. The stir-fried bok choy was good, intense garlic, tasty. With the ginger chicken dumplings, the ginger was unfortunately not really to be tasted, the sweet-soy vinaigrette was pleasantly intense. The cumin lamb lollipops were very well cooked, but again, the cumin could not be detected in terms of taste. The food is already good, but for the price the points could be taken into account, then it would be great.
