Connected Life is an amazing church that is doing amazing things in its community. I first found Connected Life when visiting my cousin in Puerto Rico in late January of this year. I wanted to find an Assemblies of God church to visit while there, so I searched online and found Connected Life. I walked into the service on January 31 dealing with severe Ulcerative Colitis. I had been struggling with this disease for 2 1/2 years and had found no relief. None of the medications I had tried worked. I was left with one final medication to try before having my colon removed. That Sunday, the pastor began to preach and said that during the week, the Lord spoke to him and told him to change his sermon. Rather than finish the series he had been preaching, Pastor Bert obeyed the Lord and preached on healing. As soon as he said that, I knew why God had led me to this church on that day. As soon as the service ended, I introduced myself to Pastor Bert and explained the health challenges I had been facing. He immediately brought his wife and another church leader over to join him in praying for me. He anointed me with oil and prayed a powerful prayer for healing. I knew that God put me there for a reason, and I believed He would heal me. About one month later, back at home, I had a colonoscopy procedure to check the condition of my colon. I prayed, and had people all over the world praying for me that I would receive a good report. I contacted Pastor Bert right before the procedure and he sent me an encouraging message and told me he was praying. After the procedure, my doctor was shocked. He told me there was no inflammation and no ulceration in my colon. It was completely clear! I know that God healed me, and I believe it started at Connected Life that Sunday morning in January. I was able to go back to San Juan in mid April and attend the first service in their new building. It was such a blessing to me. Pastor Bert was so excited to see me again and to rejoice with me. This church and this pastor have been an incredible blessing in my life. I would recommend Connected Life to anyone looking for a church that loves Jesus and loves people. You won’t find a more welcoming group of people. Check out Connected Life- you won’t be disappointed!

An amazing church with amazing pastors and people! Churches like this are hard to find in Puerto Rico and even in the states (I was visiting from Rhode Island). The reason I say this is because this is a church that is revolutionary and paving the way. This church represents what church should be… a hospital for the broken that accepts you how you are. With so much “church hurt” in the world and bad experiences of being judged… you will be happy that you came! You might feel nervous at first going to a new church but they make you feel welcomed when you literally walk through the doors and they even check up on you. I also love their community outreach… I literally never seen a church visit risky areas to reach those that are forgotten by the world. The same way the Shepard went back for 1 sheep. Thank you everyone! If I move to Puerto Rico… this will be my church!

When I first entered this church 4 years ago, everyone immediately welcomed me with open arms and felt like family. I had just moved to Puerto Rico from the U.S. mainland and didn’t know anyone on the island. The pastors and other members always checked on my well-being and stay in contact with me as much as possible during Hurricane Maria. I truly feel the presence of God in this ministry and love that it is a bilingual community.

This was my first time in a bilingual church and it was the most spiritual experience I’ve ever had. I started to tear up as soon as the worship started and I could definitely feel the Holy Spirit present in the church. If you are ever in PR this is a must go to church you will not be disappointed!! The pastor and his wife were an amazing duo and the message was so impactful. Thank you for an amazing experience!! 🙏

Our family had the pleasure of attending Connected Life while serving on a missions trip. We didn’t know what to expect and didn’t grasp the concept of bi-lingual church until Sundays service. It was amazing. We speak and understand very little Spanish but understood every bit of the message because Pastor and his wife are a dynamic duo. We were in awe at the spirit and anointing that filled the room. The church has an amazing team of people who really care. They made our family feel right at home. We were embraced with so much love. There is no doubt that once you visit the church you will want to be part of the Connected Life family. My husband and I are anxious to take our whole family back for service. Oh the coffee is the icing on top!!! Every since I had the coffee I haven’t been satisfied with any of the coffee here in the states. Can’t wait to travel back and worship with Connected Life.

Whether you are visiting San Juan for a couple of days, or have been living here for years and didn't realize that there's a new church in town, I strongly encourage you to give Connected Life Church a try. They are welcoming, friendly, and easy going. They take good care of anyone who walks through their doors, and I'm incredibly impressed with how they work to help those around them. Go give them a visit and see what you think.

Words cannot express the amazing experience I had. The Holy Spirit is moving in the church. The Pastor and his entire team. I will follow on FB. Pastor Burt’s passion for God and the people shines through all he does. My heart is now here with you all. I will be back. And the coffee is wonderful.

I attended connected life this past Sunday and couldn't have loved the entire service more. I can feel the life of the spirit. Pastor Bert and his wife Zoha spoke amazingly in thier message and translations from Spanish to English were done awesomely. And that message was too good! 👍 🔥 Praise 🙌 God for this church in this neighborhood. If I lived here rather than just visiting, I would make this place my home church. Absolutely 💯 stop in! Ps The Coffee shop had very good coffee.

Wow, this is a great church, in the heart of San Juan. It is very contemporary with an accent on the arts. I am in my 60s, I love this church, but I will say that the younger generations seem very excited to be a part of the many things going on at Connected Life!

My wife Celia and I are retirees (snowbirds) from Chicago who came to Puerto Rico in 2014. As part of our retirement and transition plans, we wanted to make sure we found a bilingual Christian church. To our amazement we found Connected Life which has an affiliation with our church in Chicago New Life. What we found has been amazing. A church with a young pastor and Pastora and a mostly young membership. We have seen this church grow and become an important institution in the San Juan metropolitan area. Today I am a proud member of the Board of Directors who has guided the church to secure our new facilities. Anyone looking to uplift Jesus, connect and develop people to serve our island, then Connected Life is the church for you.
