Camden Adventure Aquarium

Bus stop

😠 Listed as a ticket range starting at $27…. Not a single day is $27. Most days are $40-$50 and I promise you the aquarium is not worth the price. It’s small, bathrooms are dirty, parking is sketchy… you spend an hour there max and they start charging tickets prices at the age of 2. Go to the Baltimor... Same price, 5x the size, large cafeteria, & anyone 4 and under is free.

Lots of interactive exhibits for all ages. I learn something new every visit! From the back aquarium there is an excellent view of the river and of Philadelphia’s skyline.

Adventure Aquarium has a beautiful exhibit of aquatic life. They seem to be constantly improving the space to make it more interesting for their guests. Depending on the time you go, you may see face painting for the kids or snow falling from the high ceilings while the mascots dance. FYI- the hippos "Genny & Buttons" get their feedings at certain times throughout the day. It's fascinating to see them eat their favorite foods; bok Choy being one of them! Because of the large amounts people frequenting the aquarium in the warmer months, the parking lots can become quite chaotic. Stay calm, circle around and you will find a space... it's worth the wait!

They change the way they sell their tickets and it’s just not worth it to visit. Oh, and their stroller policy is terrible for us moms who visit with multiple children by ourselves.

Adventure Aquarium you’ve gotta do better! Myself and my children went to an event tonight at your establishment and I’m highly disappointed. My son has toileting needs that require the use of an adult size changing table and because this is my life, I made sure the host of the event confirmed that there was in fact an adult size changing table. Per the coordinator they spoke to, there was one. Would you like to guess what I had to use to change my son on???? A folding table and that was only because 2 employees in particular felt terrible that I had nowhere to change my son. My son isn’t the first and he won’t be the last person to need these accommodations. Inclusivity is necessary!

Very small for the price. Walked it and saw each exhibit slowly in an hour.

Wonderful place to go. They are always renovating for a new attraction or exhibit so you know something g different is to come. The walk above the shark tank was my absolute favorite part.... next to the baby loggerhead turtle feeding.

The aquarium is a fun place to go on a hot day, you're inside for most of the tour of the four zones, and if you have a little kid there's definitely plenty of things to do inside and touch in the water. The hippos are always a great draw here as well as the shark and turtle tank walk through and walk over. It's definitely a quick visit, you can definitely get done with in one to two hours depending on your interests and pacing. Parking is $10 in the lot outside or half as much if you're a member. If you're here more than two times a year, become a member because it's cheaper. $92 for two adults and a kid for a single visit was a bit high but the price you pay for entertainment... I do like how they have recycling and trash cans everywhere inside though, makes it a lot easier to discard things at hand. Well they don't have a lot of exhibits compared to Baltimore or Atlanta, it's still a great experience for learning about the wildlife in our waters.

If you go here, go when it's not busy (to help with parking) or take the train in. We rode in from Cinnaminson and it was worth it. This aquarium is a bright spot in an otherwise bad town. Definitely must see.

Booking was alittle difficult due to covid limitations but otherwise it was good experience. Take a earlier reservation time if possible, earlier the better instead of later. Lines were not bad at all.

I think it's really awesome that there's an Aquarium close to home. It's been years since I have been here or any Aquarium so I have been dying to go. That being said, as cool as it is, you really can get through the whole park in a hour and definitely under two hours. It's not the big, and there's not many attractions here. I can't speak for the staff or food, but I know everything is going to be overpriced like it is at any place you go to. The price of the tickets are a little much for something so small. That doesn't include parking. You only get discounts on the gift shop and food if you have a membership, but I wouldn't think this place is even worth having a membership to because of how small it is. I still enjoyed my stay, but this place is a once in every 7+ years I would say. I'm like a kid, I'm easily amused, but I was expecting more oomph to it.

We love it here! This aquarium is totally geared towards the kids, with all kinds of interactive experiences, but you still enjoy them as an adult. Our kids love seeing the hippos, touching the stingrays, and going over the shark bridge. Also, it is definitely worth becoming a member if you plan to go more than once in a year. You get discounts on parking, food, and gift shop, and they have special member events. One note on member events though.. they tend to get VERY crowded, so come early or plan accordingly!

My family & I have season passes so we go as often as we can. We always have an amazing time & the fact the animals are always doing something different makes it unique every time. Our 3 year old son absolutely loves the sharks, sea turtles, & hippos. He could stay for hours just watching them swim around!

After being a member for the aquarium for 3 years for the first time going I have faced such discrimination by their safety supervisor Scott. I have a special stroller for my 3 children under age who have special needs to ensure their safety. After driving an hour to the aquarium we’re we’re regularly go as a safe space for my kids and myself. Upon our arrival we were met with such abrasive abuse. I was beraided by Scott he was hostile as soon was he walked up. Only after an 45 minutes of expressing the safety concerns and special needs being embarrassed in front of many people and humiliated to the point of crying were my children allowed in the aquarium. If any of you are wondering why I still went it was for mt children. After the abuse I suffered I wanted to crawl into myself. I’m so ashamed we were treated this way and one of our favorite places.
