Recently bought a 2003 Chaparral Signature 280 from Kevin at Jefferson Beach Yacht Sales. As first time boat owners, he helped us every step along the way. He was very patient with us for 12-18 months to help us find the perfect used starter boat at a great price. Even though he typically works with boats over 40 foot, he always made time for us and our many questions. He was honest about boats that he didn’t think met the quality or conditions we were looking for and called us right away when he found a possible fit. He was thorough in the contract paperwork, helping us create an escrow arrangement for the items that needed to be tested after launch. He was very hands-on for the launch and delivery, spending time to perform all checks and ensure a successful trip from storage, through the Chicago locks, and into the harbor — including tips about the boat, docking, and managing our lines. It was like having a helpful friend to call for any issues or questions. We also look forward to taking a Captain’s Class from him soon. Kevin is a great asset to the Jefferson Beach team and we would highly recommend both to anyone in the market for a great experience!

Kevin McNally taught a very potent boat/water safety class & provided the 34 person class a reference guide for future reference. Very polished & encompassing covered a lot of ground. With all of the information provided it was like trying to drink water from a fire hose at full blast. Learned how to make a proper MAYDAY call in the correct radio channel.
