Best vet practice ever! We’ve taken our two golden retrievers to a few different vets in the city and this is by far the best! Dr. Huhman is incredibly attentive and our dogs love her. I can’t say enough positive things, I recommend her to all of my friends with pets!

We absolutely love this place. We recently moved back to the area after being in another city for 5 years. We have seen multiple doctors in the office but highly recommended Dr. Humane to anyone looking for a vet. Our dog has cancer and we are managing her symptoms. Dr. Humane regularly checks on Scarlet and always returns our calls if we have questions. Cannot say enough good things about PFAH

I cannot thank the staff enough for helping us with the three little orphans we brought in for care at Powers Ferry Animal Hospital. On top of being incredibly generous and compassionate, their gentle, tender loving care while examining and treating these sweet kitties truly made what is usually a stressful situation so much more pleasant. Without Powers Ferry, we would not have been able to find loving homes for these babies as quickly as we did. Dr. Wright, Bethany and Liz went above and beyond what we ever could have expected, and I HIGHLY and with great enthusiasm recommend them to anyone who needs top quality care for their pets. Thank you all so very much!

PFAH has been amazing to my terminal dog Taz. Dr. Felicia Berkowitz is one of the smartest women i’ve ever met. I can’t thank them enough for all of the care and support they have given me.

I truly appreciate how Dr. Miller & the staff at PFAH have gone above & beyond in caring for my fur babies, Figaro and Cloudberry. You can tell they truly love animals and do all they can to make the animals feel as safe and comfy as possible.

Love this vet office! They know me by name - they just have to find out which dog I'm calling about. ALWAYS take care of me and give the best quality care to all my dogs. If you are looking for a vet - the entire team at PFAH are wonderful - Highly recommend.

This is an absolutely brilliant and wonderful place. When I learned my newly-adopted kitten had a rough prognosis and was unable to survive long, I asked my veterinarian (Dr. Smith) if there was anything that could be done. As it turns out, one of the vet technicians cared enough about my kitten that they wish to provide him support personally and make sure his days are comfortable. I know that he's going to have the gentlest days that can be provided to him. I will miss him dearly. Every step of the way, the staff were wholly empathetic. When I was sobbing outside the building while trying to come to terms with the prognosis, I was offered a cup of water. I didn't know they knew I was still there. Someday, when I gather the courage to try adopting another pet, I hope that Powers Ferry will give them the same care and grace.

We just relocated to GA so my puppies do not have a vet yet, but Sassy was under the weather. After calling around—one vet recommended going to emergency due to her symptoms and size. PFAH got her in the same day when so many others turned her away. The entire staff at PFAH was so incredibly kind and caring. PFAH will be caring for all our pet family in the future.

The doctors at Powers Ferry have cared for five of my dogs. We’ve seen many, many doctors there. They’ve all been excellent. They’ve handled everything from eating fireworks to car accidents to cancer. Dr. Miller was especially great with my cocker spaniel Caleb who had back issues. He significantly improved the quality of my pet’s life over his last year through acupuncture and other treatments. I will always be grateful.

We have had the best experiences with PFAH over the past year with our little guy. The front desk always welcomes us with kindness and greets our Louie by name. He has boarded there multiple times and is always bery well taken care of. Dr Miller answers all of our questions and concerns, and takes amazing care of Louie. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with him. Highly recommend PFAH.

Our 4 cats all see Dr. Manack and she is so wonderful! She truly cares about our babies, always gives us full transparency and factors in financial impact when discussing solution/treatment plans which we appreciate. We have full trust in Dr. Manack and wouldn’t see anyone else to take care of our babies! The front desk and vet techs are always friendly, professional and helpful at Powers Ferry Animal Hospital.

I just switched over to PFAH, and the difference is like night and day compared to my last vet. I have confidence that they do care and will try to do everything they can to help my pet. The only regret I have is not switching sooner.

We have had fantastic experiences here - they have taken such great care of our fur babies. Good veterinary care is never cheap, but in my opinion this practice is worth every penny we’ve spent there over the years. The reception staff, vet techs, and veterinarians (especially Dr. Miller and Dr. Manack) are truly wonderful!

I have been taking my dog here since he was maybe 4 years old (and he’s now 13). We normally see Dr. Manack and she’s so good with my old man and has been so fantastic helping us into each phase of his life! She’s very easy to talk to and I can tell she loves my baby and wants him to thrive and help me take the best care of him. Recently a tech recommended a food topper that she’s used for her own pups to help get my dog to eat his boring old man food and I really appreciate the knowledge and compassion the techs have for animals as well. I’ve moved further away now but still drive from East Atlanta to PFAH because they’re really worth it.

I can’t say enough about Dr.Huhman. I had two elderly dogs. Unfortunately, one passesd away, but she gave him tremendous care until the day we lost him. With the other elderly dog she is the best. At fourteen years old she does only what’s necessary and nothing more. She has ALWAYS been available for us, even on her days off. We moved here from Connecticut and we never believed we would be able to find a Veterinarian as good as our Veterinarian…we found that doctor.

The staff at this hospital were very friendly and knowledgeable. They provided a free toy and free first dose of flea and tick medication. I am happy to bring my new puppy here for a long time.

We live in Woodstock. I will drive as far as necessary to have Dr. Berkowitz take care of my pets. All the staff at PFAH is terrific.

Powers Ferry Animal Hospital is fabulous. Dr Huhman takes her time with you pet, explains things thoroughly and has great follow up. She makes you feel like she genuinely cares about your pet and your concerns. She’s careful and sweet with our older dog and I would highly recommend this vet!

The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. The vet techs are great and Dr. Manack is the best. I’ve always been a dog “sister” but now I’m a first time dog mom and I couldn’t be happier with the care PF Animal Hospital staff has provided for my dog, Walley.

Powers Ferry has been an incredible place for my dogs. We’ve been going for a year and their care of my energetic puppy and my nervous rescue dog has been amazing. The front desk staff is so sweet and they always answer my questions with thoughtfulness. Dr. B is our main provider and is amazing with our two babies. We’re so thankful for the fact that they go the extra mile, always calm my nerves, and follow up after each visit! Thank you for your amazing dedication!

Great experience here! Have been going since my dog was an eight week old puppy. They are always so nice and attentive and spend time answering all of my questions. I love this place and will always recommend to anyone looking for a vet!

Dr. Alex Huhman is amazing! I've been to a lot of different vets trying to find a doctor who really takes the time to treat me and my dog like we're "not just another patient and parent." She is so kind and so incredibly thorough. My pup is now a senior with kidney disease and I feel very blessed that she's in the hands of Dr. Huhman... It has taken a huge load off my heart!

Dr. B. and her staff are THE BEST! My beloved dogs have always gotten excellent, compassionate care. I feel like everyone at PFAH understands and cares that my animals are incredibly important and deserve the finest care possible.

We've taken our dogs to PFAH for over 15 years. The staff, from the veterinarians to the receptionists at the front desk, is friendly, professional, responsive, and treat our dogs and us like we are family. I can't imagine trusting our dogs' care to anyone else.

Dr. Miller and his team are kind, professional, and highly capable of caring for animals of all temperaments. We arrived early, and they were able to accommodate us right away. They were efficient in treating all of my dog’s symptoms, and he’s already feeling much better. I cannot recommend them enough.

I have never had less than an outstanding experience here. My own dog is easy and friendly. My son’s dog, while an absolute sweetheart everywhere else, has a lot of clinic PTSD from his shelter days. Dr. Fallon and her team go out of their way to work with us to get him the care and attention he needs while being extremely patient and understanding. I love this practice so much and can’t recommend them enough.

Excellent care for my Sheltie, Tucker. This was his yearly check up with Dr Miller. He is caring and answers/explains our questions about our baby. We love the staff. They are wonderful and patient especially when helping us deal with our insurance claims. My thanks to everyone. Andy, we miss you.

We have always gotten the absolute best, most caring service from Powers Ferry Animal Hospital for our two fur babies. The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. All of the vets are amazing, and in particular we are convinced Dr. Smith is a dog whisperer! Couldn't recommend them more!

Finding the best veterinary care for my dog is so important to me, and I'm so glad to have Powers Ferry Animal Hospital close by! This was my dog's first appointment here, and I was so pleased with their professionalism and care for her. Doctor Human was great. She was so thorough in her call with me and when she came outside to introduce herself (we still can't accompany pets inside due to COVID restrictions). Her follow-up call the day after to go over my dog's labs was great too. I highly recommend Dr. Human and Powers Ferry Animal Hospital.

This is hands down the best vet practice in Atlanta! They treat your pet like their own, they are reliable, and so friendly. The care is unmatched!

We have used Powers Ferry Animal Clinic for many years and many pets. Each pet has received wonderful care. Although they offer all options for the care of our pets they have never pushed us into having a particular procedure. Top Veterinary staff!

My parents have been taking our dogs to Dr. Andy Smith for over 30 years. I just brought my first dog (a now 4 month old puppy) to Dr. Smith, and he is as kind, thoughtful, thorough, and personable as my parents said he would be. I know my pup is in good hands when I take her there. He covered everything I needed to know. I also had the pleasure of taking my pup to Dr. Huhman as well. She clearly embodies the same qualities and passion of the practice, and she was very kind, thorough, and intentional with my pup. Even though I live in Tucker, I will take my pup there for as long as I live in Atlanta!

This practice is quite simply the best around. I was not happy with my vet and was recommended to Powers Ferry. They truly care about your animal and you. I’ve never felt rushed and they work with you to get the best care for your pet. There aren’t enough words to say how much I love everyone there. I drive 20-25 minutes to get there but I would drive 2 hours. Do not hesitate to bring your beloved pet to this practice.

PFAH is by far the most spectacular vet I have ever been to. I rescued a litter of feral kittens last year and brought them straight to PFAH for veterinary care. After getting them their routine kitten care, I rehomed 2 of them and kept the other 2 boys. Unfortunately, 1 of the kittens I kept became mysteriously violently ill. Over the course of several months, I was in weekly working with Dr. Huhman to figure out kittens mystery illness. We did every single test, X-ray and ultrasound that we could - everything coming back normal despite little man failing to get better. The compassion and care Dr. Huhman and the staff at PFAH showed me and my little Fred was something I’ve never experienced before - they were calling me weekly when I wasn’t in the clinic just to check up on Fred and see how he was holding up. Truthfully, it was an incredibly stressful and sad time as I didn’t know what his future looked like and if he was going to make it. However, thanks to Dr. Huhman’s dedication and patience in trial and error, we finally found a regimen that got my little Fred healthy and happy; He’s now almost a year fully healthy and absolutely thriving. Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel to Dr. Huhman and the staff at PFAH for saving my little Fred’s life, I truly believe he wouldn’t be here today without them. As a result of the care I received, I started bringing my senior chihuahua to the clinic as well. While she was a much easier patient (lol), she received equally as incredible care. Do yourself a favor, and trust your pets care with PFAH.

I have taken my dog here for almost two years, mostly for check-ups and other smaller things. Recently I took her in a for a teeth cleaning and they did a great job. Everyone from the receptionist to the techs to the vet; I feel like they were all great to work with. Thanks PFAH!

When our vet was unexpectedly closed without notice, we found Powers Ferry Animal Hospital for an urgent need for our little puppy. They had same day appointments available and we were seen immediately upon arrival. Dr. Huhman and her staff made us feel comfortable and informed when making a big decision for our puppy and even called us the day after the procedure to check in. I would highly recommend Powers Ferry Animal Hospital!

This is the platinum-star standard of care for my fur babies. EVERYONE there from the front desk to the techs to the field of doctors. They love what they do and truly care about animals. You are in amazing hands at PFAH.

Thank you all for getting me and my dog seen so quickly especially as a new client! I cannot recommend them enough as they were quick efficient in getting the tests & results needed for my dog who ended up having Lymphoma Stage III. I was going to another vet before this, and it took them way to long and was just way to complicated and annoyed at how much I was calling to get information on a what was very time sensitive information on my dog and his results. Powers Ferry Animal Hospital showed me that there are still Vets around that care about each individual animal and their owners! Dr. Alex is who I was working with during this tough time, and I truly appreciated her understanding, sympathy and efficiency the whole processes!

  • 5/5 Roger S. 1 year ago on Google
I cannot recommend them enough. The staff cares about your pet as if they were their own. They suggested deferring a surgery that could have made them money because it likely wasn't the best option for my pet. Love them!

  • 5/5 Rachel K. 1 year ago on Google
I can not recommend Dr. Scott enough — He was so incredible with both of our cats. And while yes, it is more expensive than some cheaper vet clinics or the SPCA, Dr. Scott never rushes you, he will literally talk to you for as long as you need an answer all your questions, and when our one cat’s eye issue was not resolving, they referred us to Animal Eye Specialists which was a great referral. It genuinely worth the money for really good care.

We love PFAH, my dog was a patient there for 8 years, and she always received the best care and medical attention from the staff. We continued to drive to the practice after we moved to Kennesaw, because we valued them so much! At the end of my dogs life, the office provided such a loving and kind environment for us on such a hard day. This vets office truly cares for all the patients, fur babies and their humans!

We have always had a great experience with Dr. Miranda Manack and Dr. Meg Wright at Powers Ferry Animal. They are absolutely the best! Dr. Meg Wright provided exceptional care for my puppy during a recent surgery. Her attention to detail and expertise in the procedure put me at ease and ensured the best possible outcome for my dog. The post-operative care was top-notch and Dr. Meg was always available to answer any questions and provide reassurance. I am truly grateful for her dedication and skill, and would highly recommend her to any pet owner in need of surgical services.
