It’s part of my life now - I LOVE this place because my therapist, Madison, is absolutely magical and the best. The receptionist, aka social butterfly, Christina, is amazing and helpful. EPTG is so lucky to have them. They’ve made this place special to me. I’ve been doing physical therapy with them 3 sessions a week for 3 months now, and going to PT session is like becoming healthier while visiting friends. About the physical therapy: I have problems with my neck, lower back, and knees. Even though I haven’t been able to pay attention to my posture while working at home and didn’t do the homework that Madison gave me, the workout she made me do during the sessions, and her massage have made my situation much better. My lower back seldom hurts after several sessions with her, and my glute and leg muscles have gotten much stronger, and I can see the results! Also, I didn’t need to worry about progression - Madison constantly checked in and arranged new workouts or progressions to make sure I improved. I cared a lot about form, and she’s been very patient and helpful in showing and explaining the correct forms. Also, I’m a big deep tissue massage person, and Madison did a great job in that - my neck and back pain get instantly relieved after she massaged those parts. I feel confident that I can achieve my goals with her guidance. About the vibe: I love the vibe here as I can relax and get comfortable. This is one of the reasons that, though I’m so lazy, I can make three sessions a week. Christina is so sweet, and she organized games like Easter egg scavenger hunts. Small but fun! I was late most of the time, and they never scolded me. They don’t cancel my appointments even when I remembered the session time wrong. My husband’s insurance gave him a hard time, but Christina did a great job handling his insurance. Originally, I didn’t talk much with Madison or Christina as I didn’t like socializing, but now I love sharing things in my life with them. About the environment: They have a clean bathroom and clean beds. It’s not a big place, but they have enough devices and tools so I can use them to exercise specific parts. The therapists and receptionists always did the cleaning in between sessions, and you can see them clean their towels, beds, and pillow covers.

If you are looking for the best physical therapy clinic in jersey city Exchange Physical Therapy is the place to go! I have been going for surgical rehab on my shoulder and for knee pain and back pain on and off for the last few years. EPTG provides the caring and friendly atmosphere that I love going to even if it is 2-3 times a week. They just added a new pediatric physical therapy room where they treat babies and toddlers. All the physical therapists are miracle workers. I refer everyone I know, EPTG is 5 stars.

All of the staff at Exchange Physical Therapy are friendly, understanding, and flexible. I work primarily with Amy for my wrists and core strengthening, and the team has helped me enormously on learning more about how my muscles work, how to avoid hurting them, and also how to strengthen them. I would recommend EPTG’s service if one wants to see improvement with physical therapy. It has worked well for me!

I have been in therapy several times for different issues I have been going through. I find this group to be the best and experienced in getting me back to feeling whole again and pain free. Vestibular Vertigo was such a scary feeling which in just a few visits they had it under control. Then I got severe pain in my heels and with the help of James (an amazing Therapist) again I feel this under control. I am still in therapy and have many health problems and look forward to continuing and putting a positive attitude in accomplishing my goals after I have oral surgery. You honestly don't have to go far to get the help you need. Just give them a call and you will be taking the first step to recovery. Clean, Friendly, and experienced. James, Nicole, Erin, Malorie and the entire staff is there to help in every way.

I’ve had 4 knee surgeries and countless Physical Therapists, and I have to say the care and treatment at EPTG is unmatched! Each staff member welcomes you with a smile and you can feel the teamwork and respect they have for each therapist and staff member. My Physical Therapist, Mallorie, is thorough in every appointment. She takes into account my goals as an athlete, catering my workouts to a full recovery in relation to my sport. I feel valued as a client and every concern, question, or doubt I have in my own abilities or healing progress is met with kindness, knowledge, and optimism. I highly recommend Exchange Physical Therapy Group!!

This place rules! I came here during my half marathon training due to hip pain (flexor tendinitis, weakness in my interior rotation and impingement). I could barely lift my right leg. My PT, Aaron, was not only fun to talk to during my 6:30am appointments, but I really got the sense that he’s constantly reading up on new findings and mixing in newer research with some classic, tried-and-true PT exercises. Whatever it is, keep doing it because I just ran 11 miles with no hip pain and haven’t felt so optimistic in my entire half marathon training since joining EPTG. I’d also like give a shout out to their front desk team - Irma, Natalie and Christina. They’re all so pleasant to speak with, they explain benefits clearly and you can tell the team here really gets along well. Beautiful, new facility. My only gripe is that they are out of network, so if your deductible is manageable then I couldn’t recommend it more. Thanks all!

She is attentive and experienced & will give proper time while working on you to ease the pain. overall the place is clean and the staff is super friendly. I highly recommend dr. I absolutely have been loving my sessions with Dr. Madison! I have been dealing with a knee injury and extreme pain due to a bad fall back in 2021 & I have put off PT for too long. I'm so glad I finally booked a session with EPTG & In just 3 sessions my knee pain has decreased drastically and I am no longer limping or unable to sit for longer periods of time! Thank you Dr. Madison for all of your help so far and a huge thank you as well to the Amazing front desk staff for being so kind & thorough every step of the way from Insurance benefits to working around my schedule when booking each session.

Amy at EPTG is the best! I have had a few surgeries over the last 6 months and she became my physical therapist about halfway through the first. With prior physical therapy I felt like I wasn’t really prioritized as a patient and my exercises were quite stagnant. I always felt like I could’ve just done at home what was done there and it wasn’t providing me a lot of benefit. Amy has truly changed my perspective on physical therapy and its usefulness. She is actively involved in my recovery and working with me to get where I want to be. She listens to what I’m feeling at each visit and adjusts her therapy accordingly to address the current needs while keeping in mind where I want to be next. It’s very clear she is putting a lot of effort and thought into my recovery, continuously introducing new or more advanced exercises from what my current regimen is. She makes use of all techniques from cupping, stim therapy, massaging depending on what your situation is. Aside from that, she is incredibly friendly & personable. She’s been an amazing support through my recovery and I can’t imagine going anywhere else! Aside from Amy, I have really appreciated how helpful Irma at the front desk is. She is always incredibly organized, efficient and helpful every time I’ve interacted with her whether that’s over scheduling, billing or any other question or issue I have had.

It really works! I have been working with Amy for about 3 months. Prior to coming to EPTG I had tried countless exercises and stretches myself based on random YouTube videos but I never noticed significant signs of recovery. With Amy's help, however, I noticed I was progressively stronger over time, and the initial pain I had felt when I first started gradually subsided. This gave me the confidence I needed to get back into my own strength training. The vibe here in general is very friendly and welcoming. I see patients showing pictures of their dogs with their physical therapists and the receptionists. I've worked mostly with Amy and a little with Nikhil, and they were both super nice and attentive to my regimen. Though they work with multiple patients per session, I never had problems getting my questions answered, and they would find time to work with you 1-on-1 each time. I would highly recommend these two. Christina at the front desk is also very sweet and always down for a chat. I was late a lot of the times but they never gave me a hard time for it. The location being steps away from the Exchange Place PATH station is also amazing. Overall my experience here has been overwhelmingly positive. I was in shock when I saw the extremely high rating and I totally agree with it.

Dr.Kristina is fantastic! With her assistance, my recovery from a lower back injury was quick. Initially, I faced difficulties bending down or twisting my body, but after just a few sessions, I experienced significant improvement. Her support and comforting approach throughout our sessions made the process much more reassuring. She taught me so many helpful exercises to enhance my core strength and she even manually adjusted my SI joint back into place. I'm so grateful for her exceptional care and guidance!

Exchange Physical Therapy is a great place for all your PT needs. From the front desk to the therapists, everyone is friendly and helpful. I walked into the therapy with a very bad neck-shoulder pain and Amy, my therapist was a savior. Amy is quite knowledgeable and she got to the root of the issue quickly. She started working on my neck-shoulder to soothe the pain, advised me on establishing a good work posture and trained me on strength exercises to strengthen the area. In just a matter of 3 weeks, I started feeling much better. Highly recommend Amy, she is very patient friendly and an expert in relieving pain. Thank you Exchange Physical Therapy !

Cassandra is awesome! Patient, professional, thorough and thoughtful. After my first visit, I felt improvement. She walked me through each exercise thoroughly, adding additional challenges over several visits. She has been very informative through my regular visits. Christina at the front desk is also great. It was easy to get appointments and always flexible with my schedule.I highly recommend!

A friendly and cheerful team, in contrast with some neighboring places where the staff is solemn or businesslike. If you could get the Amazing Amy (Dr. Kratzer) as your therapist, consider yourself lucky. Dr. Amy “custom designs” your routine to perfectly fit your needs. Like a pharmacist who carefully combines the dosage of each ingredient, Dr. Amy, with the help of her computer, will prescribe a combination of exercises and/or massage just for you. She checks your progress to adjust her “prescriptions” accordingly. Thank you, Dr. Amy and Exchange Physical Therapy!

I had the best physical therapy experience ever! Amy was incredibly helpful, and she managed to alleviate my back pain right from the first session. Although my doctor sent me to an MRI, Amy's expertise saved me money by achieving significant progress within just a few sessions. The front desk staff, particularly Christina, were also extremely helpful, explaining my insurance coverage clearly. I appreciated the convenience of their evening and Saturday sessions, making the entire process smooth and hassle-free.

I started going to Exchange Physical Therapy Group JC in May 2022 for my back and knee after struggling for a long time with two autoimmune diseases and recovering from a total knee replacement at a young age. Lauren took my case on without any hesitancy and with compassion. Over the course of the summer, I already notice improvement in my strength and mobility, which has been stagnant for a long time. She is constantly evolving my plan, allowing me to listen to my body for when it’s time to increase my resistance or move to a more challenging exercise. It is never a “one size fits all” approach, and is always fully customized with proper coaching, which I haven’t always experienced in the past. I couldn’t be more grateful the work she has done on me to help me feel strong and have hope that I will avoid progression of my disease. I love starting my early mornings chatting with Lauren and the team and getting my day off to a good productive start!

My sessions with Dr. James Ruggiero helped me start a second life after a very confusing and debilitating period in my health that doctors and researchers haven't been able to explain. In my treatment and recovery, James was the first to ask me what my personal goals are and that changed everything about the tone of my recovery. I'll never forget that conversation and the energy+determination it infused into me. James knows exactly what's needed and we go about discovering my limits and working on them systematically with amazing results. Would recommend Dr. Ruggiero in blink of an eye

I have been working with Amy since my foot reconstruction. She is professional and knowledgeable and took the time to learn about my injury and surgery. She’s incredibly warm and makes an hour of hard work feel like fun! Would definitely recommend this PT clinic, and especially Amy!

I first went to EPTG earlier this year for a back injury. It was my first time going to PT and James was incredibly welcoming, patient and helpful. Working with him over a few months brought me back to full strength. I went back to EPTG for a separate injury later in the year and worked with James again, and had a similarly great experience and felt great after a few visits. Facility is clean, all staff are friendly and helpful. Scheduling appointments is easy and flexible. Would highly recommend.

EPTG has been a tremendous help dealing with neck related pain. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. Very flexible in accomodating appointment times to fit into your schedule. They lay out a manageable treatment plan and constantly keep track of goals and progress. Highly recommend these physical therapists to anyone in the area in need of treatment.

I’ve had 2 encounters with some physical pain and I have visited this place both times. Each staff member is thoroughly professional and they always greet you with a smile. My Physical Therapist, Erin helped me last time and currently helping me through recovery mode. She is thorough and helpful through every session. She takes in account every trip or every activity that I am pursuing and adjusts the sessions or modifies exercises according to that. I highly recommend Exchange Physical Therapy Group!
