They are the only ferry service to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty so everyone is pretty much stuck with them. Thankfully, the service is good. There is an airport-style security inspection before boarding the ferry. The ferry itself is convenient. There's restrooms and a snack bar. The ferry is clean and tidy overall and trips take roughly 20 minutes.

Booked a reserved ticket on the morning we decided to go. Unfortunately you have to book well in advance to do the crown. For us it was booked months out. As for the reservation looks like getting the tickets emailed to you was the best option. As they can scan your email at each point. Skip the will-call option. Also despite the savings the New York City Pass offers reserving your tickets saves you hours of waiting in their β€œflex” ticket line.

Clearly timing notice, almost on time. Great boarding and disembarkation services.

Very cool ferry to get great views of all the surrounding scenery. It's a nice ride with a nice crew at the helm. It was very windy when my wife and I went so that was a cool break from the summer heat.

The ferry is great. Very efficient and well managed. The only problem is the security guards at the check points before you board. They are like petty tyrants. Rude, officious and abrasive.

It was fine, they're the only ferries that go to Liberty island and Ellis island so there's no other way. But they are great nonetheless. They have great security and an amazing view of manhattan.

Bothersome how the crew feels it necessary to yell at passengers to move faster and keep walking in such a rude manner. Too bad there aren't any other options to recommend...the company could do better.

One of my husbands bucket list completed and was an amazing experience beautiful views from the ferry on the top deck. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The ferry does get busy but does not effect the experience. Definitely recommend!

Beatiful experience highly recommended the its really worth it you learn so much we got there early at liberty state park pass the security and got on the 9 am ferry I recommend to go with enough time so you can live the whole experience they have theaters a no cost on both ellis island and the statu we couldn't get in the statu because is booked until October so order your tickets ahead if time we will come back , lines are longer in the afternoon went this sunday it took about 10 or 15 minutes

Awful experience easier taking a flight. Security check, long wait, boats are super late, take 20 mins to just park the boat! Avoid it especially with kids
