I am writing this note to say Thank You, To Mrs. Mariela Ramos. When I first arrived to Jersey City Housing Authority Office I was Upset and Overwhelmed from being lost for over 45 Minutes do to wrong directions. My GPS took me exactly to the Address that's the Website. Thanks to a Lady who was familiar with the Office I was able to take a Cab and Arrive for my Interview with Mrs. Ramos. I was nervous and 8 mins Late. Didn't know what to expect, When Mrs. Ramos came out to call me, her 'Hello' Was Super Warm And Welcoming. From that point on Everything went from Negative to Positive; Thank You Mrs. Ramos For Your Great Energy.

If you have the case worker Mariela Ramos request someone else. She comes across as nice but she's incompetent and doesn't do her job right. And they'll protect her so no point complaining about it.

Whoever’s answering the phone at the front desk need to be fired she got a bad attitude and was completely rude for absolutely no reason and I was being nice and polite and she on the other end huffing and puffing because HER phone is muffled and she had to repeat someone’s last name. YOU applied to that job and got hired If you mad go work somewhere else where you don’t have to talk to people.

They don't do nothing for us down here at ward F. Mr. Sammy boss is not helping us tenants. We has mold and sickness with doctors notes and they are helping landlords to try to put us out. It's our health in danger . They need to remove there housing people from this home owners and put housing back. Stand up. I give housing in Jersey City and our Mayor in Jersey a half of point.Freedom of speech.If we down have a strong person to stand up to these home owners theythey don't need there jobs.don't.need there jobs.

I was recently terminated this year year by Lorraine Barbee, she is the terminator. All of her clients are afraid of her. She talks to you in a nice but, nasty tone. She try to make you think that you are incompetant when teying to explain your siruation. She can be nice but since my unlawful termination, life for me has been so hard and after I pay my rent, there's barely enough to buy otjer life essentials that I need and personal items, I can' t even go to the doctor because I have no money to co-pay or pay for meds.

Bc if this place my life was ruined. Homeless. Had to give up kids, was already disabled. Taking away section8 for no reason. No worker calls no papers sent. I left over 350 voice-mail not 1 call back. Walked in plenty of times, left letters bc I knew yearly checkup was coming. Finally q letter came to tell me I lost my section 8 I had b4 moving to JC since 2004. Hearing was bs. A lady I never heard of. My worker.they just decided bc I never reached out to them I didnt care. My voice-mail didn't count visits letters. I earned this section 8 bc freeing myself from terrible abuse. It was accomplishment for me n my kids. We were saved by it. Able to feel safe. I did right all those years w section8. All to lose it bc u JC terrible employees do nothing. I heard rumors from others but I didnt believe it. Foolish me. So b4 I die i hope yall know u began the process of destroying my family. Destroying my health in the process.

Nobody ever answers the phone and they never return your messages. I don't know how to reach them.any help?

Well I'm not who who or why but lately in the housing projects I reside I haven't been complaining of anything or anyone because when I did was told to call police now I don't about anyone else but my kids and my safety is more important to me and calling the police isnt the right move especially where I live its sad of the people who I've come across into speaking with at these professional establishments because more then a few talk as if there in the hood! Now I'm from the hood but if working at a office such as these i believe if I'm not mistaken that there supposed to talk professional as well its sad that from a phone call u can tell ratchet from professional! Now don't judge me I'm just speaking of my experience a neighbor who is constantly walking around the complex high as hell taking his cloths off in broad daylight! Jerking off from what I've heard and from what I've seen with my own eyes I've had to go inside my home many times when seeing this person coming towards where I sit which is in from of my door because it's an unpredictable situation the last incident was recently when in broad daylight he pulls his pants down faces my apartment windows whips out his penis and takes a piss and I have children and I'm sure there were other kids and civilians out there as well and long story short I tried taking the complaint to both the main and local office and what was more fustraiting for me was when I went to my local office the 2 receptionist listened and continued to grab there things bc they was going home I believe it was 3:47pm office hours i think are till 4:30pm and whenni asked to speak with management they 1st Saud she was gone then I go and she's there in the office and refused to let me see her because she was officially on "VACATION" I thought vacation is once you leave the building!? Idk maybe I'm wrong. I always go with respect and not to mention the 2 receptionist when I was explaining damn near in tears bc if the anger one says to the other "YOU ready "!? And then she starts to grin like she thought it was funny that i was damn near in tears. They know what I have to go through with this person living door to door and I have 2 little girls of one who is completely disabled from brain injury..

It wasn't open haven't been able to get in touch with anybody for a while they'll call and leave a message but you can't see nobody you can leave your papers in the mailbox outside they'll call you back when they get them if they get them

I have been with section 8 going on now 6 years this program was granted to me when i really needed it and i waited 17 yrs on the list. They saved me n my kids life and have been helping since. Good Vibes over here!!! THANK YOU!!! I am so grateful!!!!
