Amazing!! I just went to Africa and Asia, fed giraffes and rhinos! Check out my pics! Caravan $135 was so worth it! Tour guide and drivers are so knowledgeable and nice. Many zoos are now ruined for me after this incredible intimate experience of a lifetime. No complaints though :)

Please don’t confuse this with San Diego zoo! This safari park is located way out of the city of San Diego, pretty isolated which is good for the animals. For commute one has to rely on Uber as public transit is not feasible (would take 2.5 hrs minimum one way!!)However, it is much better than the zoo as the animals have more space and seem at home. Lots of walking so comfortable shoes, hat and water is a must on sunny days. You may buy the safari cart rides separately to the entry ticket. If you are using β€˜go city’ pass, entry ticket is included and no waiting in long queue for entry.

This place is so much fun!! A little less crowded than the San Diego Zoo, but just as cool. The tram is great, especially for the kids. A mini safari and you get to see so many animals!

This is a great place to see. Realize there will be much walking, like lots! Wear comfortable shoes. Bring your own water thermos, snacks, sandwiches. Food, water and snacks are pricey. Riding the tram around the park is nice but could be in line for it over 45 minutes. All other jeep tours cost more but get you closer to the animals. Use sunscreen. We really enjoyed the Australian area with Kangaroos up front and very close. Didn't see the Platypus as they were hiding out. Amazing cactus garden. Lots of animals to see at this park, but be prepared for walking. There are lots of shady areas to rest.

Wonderful and huuuuge park, the animals looks healthy and very well taken care of. Tips: On the tram, get the left side seat. Get familiar with the apps and plan your route before visiting.

Typically come here just to hike around. That you get to see interesting animals is an extreme bonus. Check out the Okavango, Condo Ridge, and Bonsai garden areas for less crowd.

Member since 1979. There were too many furloughed services, stands, and staff today, the day after Memorial Day. The Safari Park is magnificent, the attention to customer comfort, not so much.

A must visit. I think it’s even more special than the zoo. You will see zebras, giraffes, lions, gorillas and more. Take the train inside the park to see the animals in open space. The food is a little expensive so bring with you if you can. It’s big and you can spend the whole day. You pay parking in the entrance.

It is very very large park you will ever see in while your life. There are almost all the animals that could come to your mind including Camels and all the type of horses. Also, there was a train that you can take to see the animals and explore their life.

The park is big, there are shuttles for parking. Wear comfortable shoes, go to the Safari early to avoid long lines.

Different experience than the San Diego Zoo, but had a great time. Worth the visit.
