They double book appointments every 5 minutes. no matter if your the 1st appointment of the day you are waiting an hour and a half or more at every appointment! my mom has cancer and is on chemo can not sit with a crowed waiting room.

I gave you 1 star because there isn’t minus 1 horrible place. We spent two hours and didn’t see the doctor. They needed the eye insurance information and I gave it to them. However I didn’t have the ID number and I asked if they can call the insurance which they had the number and they said that I had to do it. They rushed me out because there were many people waiting but when we left the waiting room was empty. Going to find a more professional place to take my family.

Today I saw Dr. Nichols for my post op appointment after my right eyelid repair. The doctor answered all my questions patiently and was pleased with the results of the operation. Emma went out of her way to make my appointment go well. Ryan also helped with all the information I was seeking. The pictures of my eye today clearly showed a big improvement. I thank all of them for their kindness and professionalism.

Dr Nichols and staff were wonderful! Took the time to explain procedure and what to expect after surgery. Great experience all around! Very caring and professional. Would highly recommend!

Excellent service, with great website. I love the Saturday appointments and consistent reminders. Excellent customer service and visits are never too long. Make sure you arrive on time because you won't disrupt patient flow.

Sight MD is one of the best eye care specialists centers on Long Island! My personal eye care specialist is Doctor Riegel and he is the best…very professional and thorough; he explains everything; answers all questions and provides suggestions for your eye health! Love my doctors but the waiting area and pre-screening are a hot mess! Takes 2hrs every visit, which is why I prefer other locations. Plus under construction too.

Felt like this was going to be a waste of time on my way in. I was right. Doctor couldn't get out of the room fast enough. ALSO, I have experienced being Ping-ponged back & forth between 2 of the same doctors. After i wasted time on this appointment, this doctor is sending me back again to the doctor that sent me to him. Interesting that both, of these doctors, she & he in (2 different offices, Deer Park & Brentwood), tend to make the patient feel like we are wasting their precious time. 🤔🙄

I've used this office in Brentwood as well as Sayville. Love Dr. Reigel. He even did my cataract's surgeries. I see Dr. Paserrilli now also. He's very kind and professional. ALL OF THE STAFF IS TERRIFIC!! When do you ever hear that?

There’s a lot of support staff, who are all friendly and knowledgeable and attentive. I had plenty of time to ask as many questions as I needed and they were all professionally answered. I always feel like I’m in good hands.

I had a 7:30am appointment but did not get seen by the doctor until 8:45. No instructions no follow up. Complete run around when calling the office to address my concerns with the doctor, who I was not able to speak with. If I could give a negative star I would. Therefore I would NEVER recommend SightMD

As Always From beginning to end of my appointment the staff is friendly, caring , such a streamlined smooth process . Dr. Marcus is top notched , at what he does . I feel confident in his treatment .

Excellent Drs. However, the Brentwood location has some unhappy front desk and eye assistant people. I am there with my husband every week and I have seen the front desk staff be extremely rude, have no patients with the elderly, and have major attitudes. Some of the staff that you see before the Dr are also not pleasant and act like they don’t want to be there. They also overbook and majority of time you are there for hours.

Dr John Pausarelli The best eye doctor His off ice service is so friendly and caring the place is so clean and don,t have to sit close to other people He has done so mush for me when I did need help .When I first went to see him he was so over loaded with patient not about money just caring I did talk to him and recommend maybe more office and he did because he is so wanted by patient all over Long Island

I have been coming to sight MD for years they are professional and fast . You don’t seat in the office for hours. They have lots of courteous staff to take care of your needs and I’m always happy to come to the Brentwood location and Hauppauge location.

Due to an emergency, I was referred to Dr. Raju Sarwel and I saw him within 2 hours. Dr. Sarwel is an expert who is also humble and kind. The office staff is exceptional. I highly recommend Dr. Sarwel. My experience was A+.

SightMD Is the best eye care Specialist I have ever been too. Thorough, knowledgeable paraprofessionals, excellent eye Dr and eye care. All equipment is up to date. I’ve had cataract surgery and LASIK surgery here performed by Dr. Passarelli. I trust him so much that I flew up from Florida to have my eyes checked by him again. My father’s cataract surgery went well, he has great improvement in his vision. Thank you to the doctors, nurses, technicians, and office staff. The office is clean and the wait is not long considering the amount of patients. I also want to recognize the security guy at the surgery center’s entrance, he was very professional, pleasant, and helpful to everyone. We are truly happy with the service received and would definitely recommend Sight MD.

I see Dr. Edward Marcus for macula degeneration every month. I have gone there for over one year now. He is a wonderful young man and a great doctor. He tries to keep his patients distracted from the dreaded shot in the eye that is coming by joking All his staff are also very nice, professionals and accommodating. I would definitely recommend Dr Marcus at Sight MD.

Horrible… they pack people in like it’s the DMV knowing they don’t have enough doctors to see that many people and perform a quality service. I went there twice ( I’m speaking of the office in Brentwood Long Island). The first time the doctor sat down looked at my eye, said they’d scheduled an appointment to drain my eye, went back yesterday for what I thought was going be the procedure, waited over two hours for them to say come back for the procedure. After dealing with them I’d rather just keep the stye. Oh and besides the copay I was charged $70 for the pleasure of I guess meeting a doctor.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The place is run like an over worked assembly line. No personality, no caring, no empathy. Everyone here is simply working to get paid and go home. Had an 8am appointment that was supposed to be a 10 minute procedure. After over an hour and half of waiting I am told I need to take a Covid test and wait some more. Potentially over another half hour. They tell you to bring someone to drive you home, but leave them in the waiting room for hours. When you try to get answers because people have lives other then an eye doctor they brush you off, ignore you or mouth off back about how they didn’t know or they’re running behind. If your running behind 2 hours into your day, then you need new managment. I will never come here again, and I will never refer anyone here. I’m very close to walking out and paying for this procedure out of pocket somewhere else. If a provider sees you as nothing more then a fat insurance check, they shouldn’t be seeing patients at all. Side note… after 2 hours still haven't even seen my doctor for my 10 minute procedure.

I originally posted a review that was less than satisfactory because I was unable to get my pathology results at my "follow-up" visit for a minor procedure to remove a skin tag on my eye lid. Today I was pleasantly surprised that the surgeon reached out to mevto provide feedback and a commitment to communicate the results himself in a subsequent phone call. I guess Dr Nichols takes these reviews very seriously and is willing to rectify an unsatisfactory situation that transpires. Thank you Dr. Nichols.

Staff is very pleasant. There's a team who works together so you're not really waiting too long. I had to have more that one test done so more than 1 person helped me. It all went smoothly.

They are absolutely fantastic. They explain everything to you and everyone is so knowledgeable and understanding, The doctors are fantastic and the workers are also. I recommended them highly.

The front girls assumed I spoke Spanish. Then proceeded to verify my demographic information loudly. I understand there is plexiglass and sometimes difficult to hear however please do not broadcast my phone number, address and dob for all to hear. They then continued to have a personal conversation in Spanish that was not office appropriate. I only know this because I was on the phone with my friend and she explained what they were saying. The back office staff was great. They attended to me and even when I had emergency eye procedure they helped me to the end. The doctor was very nice and informative also.

I bonked my head and got a pretty deep cut while at a concert, the EMS reccomended I go to the ER for stitches. I saved myself a trip to the hospital and was able to see Dr. Nichols the very next day. Him an his team are wonderful, I didn't feel any pain while he was sewing my face back together, he explained everything each step of the way, excellent work and very good experience. I would 10/10 reccomend Dr. Nichols next time you wreck your face, or if your face is already jacked up, I have absolute faith that he can fix gods mistakes.

I had cataract surgery by Dr Sarwal today at the Brentwood location. What a wonderful and smooth experience. I’d like to thank Dr Sarwal and all of the employees there. I won’t be needing the other eye done but if I did, I’d , without a doubt use them again. Excellent staff, excellent service, excellent outcome. Thank you, Cheryl D
