One of THE best Christian Counselors out there, anywhere...Scott Forsmith led a full day event at our church a few weeks ago. I attended with no prior knowledge of Scott's background or expertise, with a few emotionally draining issues of my own, upon arrival. The first thing I noticed about his demeanor was the unmistakable Spirit of Christ, felt through his words, eyes and the activities he led. We were a large group, yet he used creative ways to "break the ice" with a range of participants from different ages, backgrounds and experiences, to find common ground early, getting us to laugh when we needed to, and creating a safe zone for us to voice our own thought processes and share honestly if we felt the need to. Aside from the knowledge I gained about the connection between what goes on in our physical bodies, in relation to stress, I gained a refreshing taste for reconnecting with God's Word again, and left feeling so much lighter than when I walked in. Sometimes we can feel insecure about sharing personal feelings in a group, but because of Scott thanking us for our "courage to be authentic", which he also modeled, we got so much out of his counsel. Thank you Lord for professionals like this!

It was a huge blessing to have finally found a counselor for my son, especially a Christian one. But unfortunately after three sessions, Scott no longer reached out for future sessions. I sent numerous emails and they were never answered. It’s a shame that he disappeared after my son was genuinely looking forward to these sessions. I think this was truly unprofessional and so hurtful especially coming from a Christian counselor.
