Great town, very friendly and helpful folks at the visitors center. Franklin is a short drive from Nashville and a nice side trip worth the time. The historic town center has beautiful architecture and great shopping. We went to Grey's on Main street, a bar restaurant converted from a historic pharamacy. Try their specialty drinks. Their bourbon old fashion is one of the best I have ever had.....

Informative even if a bit off the main road. Friendly too. Make sure to check out the neat shop and revolutionary war cemetery down at the end of the road the visitor center is on!!

Located on Fourth and Main Streets in downtown historic Franklin TN. Designed to give you both a snapshot of the quaint downtown area as well as the abundant recreational, historic, entertainment and shopping options in Franklin. The shop-like center has some gift items to take home and give to your family like coffee mugs, postcards, t-shirts and artwork. Highly recommend stopping here first when visiting for the first time. When visiting for the first time, you may get lucky enough to find a parking spot along Main Street, the Public Square or Fourth Ave. If not, then there are two free parking garages in Downtown Franklin, one behind City Hall on 2nd ave near Main Street or 4th Ave South next to the Williamson County Judicial Center across the street from popular eateries. Note: The Visit Franklin Team hosts several social media sites to keep both residents and tourists alike updated on a very robust social calendar of events in Franklin and the surrounding area.

Disappointed because they used to keep the front set of doors open to the restrooms open during the day, even on Saturdays. Apparently not anymore. Update your Google hours as it says you open at 9am on Saturdays and all locked up tight.

Friendly & helpful. A little hard to find from Google Map directions. Best to arrive nearby & look for the street corner "finger pointing signs". Haha
