This place may take care of your animals but does not take care of their employees. Since the pandemic became a thing and all businesses took a hit (2 years ago). Especially those in the veterinarian field. My fiancée who worked for Pharr worked here and unfortunately passed away while being an employee. They did not once offer to help with her passing and did not honor her life insurance. I have so many messages from her about how this place took a toll on her mentally through the pandemic. It took me a year to write this out. Shame on this place and how they treat the employees. Shame on how they have no respect for the loved ones of those who passed working for them. I will make it a point to let everyone that is a current client or a prospect know who you are. Plain heartless. They may do a decent job on your pet but do not care about their own staff; the people that are actually handling your animal.

We have never had such excellent care as we have had at Pharr Road Animal Hospital. We’ve seen two of the vets there, and each has provided gentle, thorough care to both of our cats over the past five years. We would be lost without the vets at Pharr Road because both of our cats are now seniors and have multiple health issues. There are a lot of excellent vets in Atlanta, but you cannot find a better group than the group at Pharr Road Animal Hospital.

All the staff is so friendly! My cat is very shy and scared of strangers and he completely fell in love with all of them. He’s doing so much better I couldn’t be more thankful. If you want to feel safe bringing your pet somewhere, this is the place. Thank you again

LOVE Pharr Road Animal Hospital! My dog sees Dr. Harpe who is friendly and thorough, he always spends time examining and explaining! My dog had a bad respiratory virus and was sick for almost 2 months, Dr. Harpe took the best care of him and was attentive through the healing process. We had to see a couple of the other vets through this sickness and they were all wonderful! Highly recommend.

The team is very helpful and the Dr. Harp by far is one of the most amazing and knowledgeable vets we’ve ever met. It was our first visit there and the clinic asked us to send them our cat’s records. We sent them all we had and we were amazed to hear that Dr. Harp read all 175 pages of our cat’s record the night before our appointment. I’ve never seen that before, usually other vets will ask me to give them the records but they will act like they never looked at them. I was very nervous to switch to another vet, but the tech and the vet were incredible.

I have been bringing my Wheaten terrier here for years. Could not be happier with the care she has received. Today in particular there were two more “lively” dogs in the waiting room and the staff moved quickly to get them into an exam room to calm the other dogs and prior to that checked me in at the opposite end seeing I was uncomfortable. It’s the little things!

Excellent care and service for my furbaby! Wonderful team and Dr. Winakur is just the best vet ever! He's gentle, knowledgeable and most helpful. Absolutely recommend 1000%!!!

My kitty sees Dr. Marsh , who is absolutely wonderful. She and the whole staff are so kind, thorough, and trustworthy. The facilities are nice and clean. I also love that you can text the front desk staff if they happen to be on the phone helping others, so it's easy to get hold of someone if you really need them. An excellent practice overall.

Dr. Harpe is beyond amazing! I recommend you seeing him for ANY of your pet needs. He has done surgeries, teeth cleanings, the whole 9 yards for my dog. He is SUPER patient and thorough. I can’t thank him enough for all he does. We truly appreciate him!

I absolutely love Pharr Road Animal Hospital. They take the best care of my two cats, always return my phone calls, and are always incredibly nice whenever I have to bring the cats in. Dr. Pogue, Dr. Eisner and Dr. Sasher are all phenomenal and I would never take my pets anywhere else.

DR. Tracy Sasher is an amazing Holistic Doctor. she is so kind, patient and understanding of not only the dog's needs but the owner's needs as well. My furry child has cancer and DR. Sasher has been so caring during this difficult emotional journey. I highly reccommend her as you will not be disappointed.

We’ve used Pharr Road for pet care since the spring of 2000. Dr. Sasher & Agnes have helped us so much recently, and their continuing care and treatment of my anxious, aging dog has been fantastic. I feel very confident having any member of their medical staff take care of our dog when we need something last minute. The support staff is also wonderful. We feel so fortunate to have access to this exceptional animal hospital!

Dr. Eisner is such a wonderful veterinarian! She takes excellent care of our two fur babies. She and Dr. Coleman also participated in the care of our previous girls both of which we had to put down due to an aggressive form of cancer. She and Dr. Coleman we’d both so compassionate and guided us to make the right decision to help our girls pass peacefully at home. We are so grateful for their excellent care! Dr. Eisner is a brilliant clinician and has an excellent bedside manner. It is evident she truly loves animals! She takes her time to explain health conditions/ concerns and ensures that all our questions are always answered. We won’t take our girls anywhere else! If you are looking for a vet look no further!

The team at Pharr Road is easily the best in the state. For years I brought my older dog in to see Dr. Marsh. Every visit she made sure all of my questions were answered, and my nervous pet was comfortable. Her experience, extensive knowledge, patience, and all around professionalism made me a lifetime and loyal customer. When it came time to make the tough decision to put down my pet, Dr. Marsh made an effort to review all options. The day of, Dr. Marsh was an emotional necessity for me. I was in from out of town on a road trip with my dog and she was quite sick. I called many vets but they were the only ones who immediately (and without question) told me I could come in for a walk-in rather than referring me to the emergency vet. The staff was incredibly kind and thorough, they wore protective covers and had my dog and me come in through a side door to ensure the safety and health of their other patients. They then ran enough tests on my dog to be thorough but not so many so as to over charge me and ensured my dog would have everything she needed to get better. My dog and I were sent home with everything but the kitchen sink so the bill did end up being steep, but my dog's condition improved pretty much immediately. Plus, I'd do anything for my dog so I don't mind too much. If you're looking for the best care for your pet and the kindest vets and vet techs, look no further!

I love Pharr Road Animal Hospital - we moved about 25 minutes away recently and still take our dog there for all his care. The vets and vet techs are all so friendly and always so happy to see our baby, and always take such great care of him. Front staff can be hit or miss and sometimes waiting for your scheduled appointment is a little long, but that's the going to be the same for any doctor/vet office you go. Most recently, they squeezed us in the same day I called because our dog needed semi-urgent care for gastrointestinal distress. They saw him within the hour, answered all my questions, and sent us home with a comprehensive care plan. He's already doing better! Love this team!

Dr. Nate is by far the most considerate, understanding, intelligent. and empathetic vet I have ever had the opportunity to visit. He takes ample time to thoroughly explain procedures and processes in terms that I understand. What an incredible human being!

Dr. Sasher’s gentle demeanor is always so refreshing to experience from a Vet! I rescued two testing site babies and their fear is palatable. Yet, one of mine fell asleep in the room with her! She’s knowable about holistic and behavioral (which most vets are not). She really takes her time being through-so be sure to not plan much else for that day.

Dr Sasher and Amber are amazing professionals. My dog was having some back issues that impaired his walking. They took their time with me and answers all my questions. They discussed all the options and thing I needed to consider. More importantly, they gave my dog the best care you could imagine. Highly recommend this practice

Pharr Road Animal Hospital was recommended to me in 2003 after I adopted my first dog. He received excellent care from his first visit at nine months until his last breath at 16 (which they handled with warmth and respect). When I decided to adopt again in 2020, I couldn't imagine taking my sweet girl, Brisket, anywhere other than Pharr Road. From the front desk to the technicians to the extraordinary doctors, Pharr Road Animal Hospital is beyond excellent.

My little pup loved them. The vet tech was very caring and sweet. The doctor was very knowledgeable and caring. They both took their time to learn everything about my little Zoe and explained everything to me, for just a an annual visit. I think Zoe found her vet 💕🐶.

Dr. Winokur was amazing! Took plenty of time examining our cat, going over her test results, talking to us about his thoughts about her health, and giving us multiple good options for how to best support our cat's health moving forward. He could not have been more patient with answering all our questions, gentle and kind with our cat, knowledgeable about Western and Eastern remedies, and helpful with an honest, balanced approach to our cat's health. We are very grateful to have found Dr. Winokur and Pharr Road Animal Hospital.

We're new to town and needed to establish care and get my dog's teeth cleaned. Scheduling was seamless. Dr. Snead is excellent and super attentive. Anesthesia and teeth cleaning went great. We had a slight miscommunication regarding lab billing, but it was fixed immediately when I brought it to their attention.

Dr. Haight was fantastic! She very patiently answered all our questions and was so helpful with the international transfer information. The front desk team was also great, especially when our schedule kept changing! I believe it was Maggie I spoke with a couple of times and she was patient and accommodating. Thanks as always!

Dr. Winokur, Dr. Marsh, and the entire team have always been wonderful to our pets and family. They’re excellent with everything from maintenance exams to complicated problems and end of life care, all of which we’ve experienced over the years under their care. I recommend them without hesitation!

I adore Dr. Coleman and the other doctors. I have noticed a difference in the front desk staff however...Many times when trying to call during normal business hours it often goes to voicemail...very frustrating....I have also noticed the front desk staff is not as professional and courteous as the past staff. The techs are excellent as well as the Docs...just wish there was a better front desk staff...needs a major improvement!!!!

I've been taking my dog here for a little over 2 years, and they've been tremendously helpful. I'm very glad that we're able to go into the room with our pets again. During the pandemic my dog was very anxious to go on her own into the office, but she's her happy go-lucky self in there again. Our Dr. always takes the time to thoroughly address any concern in great detail from scar treatment to storm anxiety or wound care. Thanks y'all!

I absolutely love taking my dog here! They have always been very caring and helpful whenever we needed it. We’ve seen Dr. Winokur, Dr. Harpe, and most often Dr. Haight and they’ve all been amazing! Even the receptionists are super helpful in finding appointment times to work around my work schedule. With Covid we haven’t been able to go into the office (until now), but the doctors call you while they’re examining your pet and go into detail on what could be wrong and how we can prevent things in the future. And on our first visit with our brand new puppy Dr. Winokur even took extra time just to explain the history of the Boxer breed and give me some pointers for raising one. I highly recommend you bring your pets to their office, but try to plan ahead because they’re usually booked up (because they’re so great)

We love the doctors and staff at Pharr Road Animal Hospital! They have provided the best preventative care for our dog & other family members' dogs over the years. There is never a long wait for routine appointments and their staff are organized and informative about medicines & bills.

A neighbor recommended Pharr Road Animal Hospital to us when I adopted my puppy in April 2020. I called another well known veterinarian in midtown and they couldn't see my baby I just adopted for booster shots for months but Pharr Road was able to get him in within a week. Every emergency we've had since then, they've always been willing to help and see Cooper right away, we've seen at least 4-5 of the Veterinarians there and ALL of them are beyond helpful, extremely thorough, and patient with all of my questions because I have many! I absolutely love the care of the whole staff. My puppy is a rescue and has some anxiety issues but he feels so comfortable there and they make sure to take such great care of him. If you're considering other places just don't. Pharr Road is the best in the city by far

Pharr road animal hospital is the only place I truly trust 100% to provide the best care for my pets. We have seen many doctors there and they have helped my 14 year old dog in more ways than I can count. Dr. marsh is the absolute best! Always breaks everything down in a clear manner for us to ensure we understand everything going on with our puppy. Really like the email reminders for upcoming needed appointments and vaccines as well. We even had one of the vet techs watch over our dogs some nights when he was still a young pup.

The doctors and the staff treat our fur baby like their family. Sometimes our bill goes up so high since we have a senior dog but no complaints. Our baby Cuddles actually enjoys her visit to the vet because she knows she's going to receive lots of love (and treats) from the PRAH staff😆🥰

This was our first visit and it was a nice experience. We didn't feel rushed, The Vet tech and the Dr all took their time examining and discussing what was going on with our pet. Great to have a fresh set of eyes on an on-going issue. We are already seeing results, our pup is feeling better and we're hoping he's on the road to recovery!

My dog has been a patient of Pharr Road since she was born (7 years). Office staff is organized, wait times are never too bad, and the two vets we’ve seen there have been wonderful and thorough. Dr. Marsh recently helped me through a scary time with my sick pup, even answering my emails on the weekend. Highly recommend!

The team were immediate to get my sweet Lucy dog in - they were able to stabilize her treat for pain and diagnose her foot issue immediately. Rx and treatment plan organized and efficient. Love this vet!

Had to finally write a review, and I never do, as my guys and I are so well taken care of at this veterinary clinic and have been for years. Beginning for us with Dr. Almand, who was so smart and so caring. Now, Dr. Brittany Marsh is our go to. Unfortunately or fortunately for us, our first visit with Dr. Marsh was putting to sleep our little corgi. We still talk about her treatment of us and our dogs that day. She put a bed down on the floor for Perry, so that our other corgi, Erin, could crawl in with him and lay with him while she did all the “doctoring” part. If you don’t think we were bawling, you’re not a dog owner. Her treatment has continued to be so loving and careful. She too is smart and intuitive. We love her and trust her and she always greets us so warmly that we feel a community at Pharr Rd. Now we have also gotten to know Dr. Kimberly Haight. Again, smart, caring and warm hearted. These doctors are stellar veterinarians with bedside manner to match. Last time, I had the good fortune of being assigned Montse as our medical assistant. This young woman was darling and sweet with our corgis and talkative and openly so friendly with us. She went above and beyond bringing the medication and bill into the exam room to manage it all there so we didn’t have to stop at check out! Additionally, scheduling, billing, etc is managed very efficiently by front staff and all in all makes a great place to bring your pets!
